Setting: Antarctica, a research facility that is trying to find a cure for a deadly virus outbreak.
Plot:
The player takes on the role of a special forces operative sent to Antarctica to investigate a research facility that has lost communication with the outside world. The facility was conducting experiments on a new virus that was capable of reanimating dead tissue, but something has gone wrong, and the virus has spread beyond containment.
As the player arrives, they meet their AI-controlled companion, Dr. Amelia Cole, a brilliant scientist who has been working on the virus cure. The two must work together to uncover the cause of the outbreak and find a way to stop it.
However, things start to go wrong when Dr. Cole begins to show signs of infection. She reveals that she had injected herself with the cure to prevent infection, but the virus has mutated, and the cure is now fighting against it. As a result, Dr. Cole's body is fighting against itself, and she will turn into a zombie version of herself at certain points.
The player must fight Dr. Cole in these boss battles to bring her back to normal. As they progress through the game, they uncover a sinister plot behind the virus outbreak, with a rival corporation trying to steal the cure for their own nefarious purposes.
The game will feature a mix of survival horror gameplay and action-packed combat, with the frozen Antarctic setting adding to the tension and atmosphere. Players will need to scavenge for supplies, manage their inventory, and solve puzzles to progress through the facility.
As the player gets closer to the truth, they will face increasingly challenging enemies, culminating in a final boss battle against the mastermind behind the virus outbreak.
Overall, Resident Evil: Frozen Betrayal offers a thrilling and intense experience, with the added twist of having to fight your own companion at times, making for a unique and exciting gameplay experience.
