This RP will be based off of Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. If you have read it, no spoilers I haven't finished the series yet, if you haven't then it is a cross between The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly which is a western and Lord of the Rings, which is a high fantasy.
This is not a fandom RP, it is going to be an original story that uses some ideas from Dark Tower. I am sorry to say this, but not everyone can be a gunslinger. We need variety.
Here is the plot:
Something happened. The world used to be beautiful, food was plentiful and the air used to taste as sweet as honey. No longer does it happen that way. Now people barely make it, most are forced to survive on their own.
They managed to clump into towns. The towns were usually poor and dysfunctional, but they manages. More people lived than died in the towns. Even so, death was something that always hung over every man, woman and child. After it happened, no one was safe.
Even when they knew if the dangers, a few stragglers still wandered the desert. The desert was probably the most dangerous place to be. No water for miles and nothing to eat, unless sand was part of your daily diet. The heat got to everyone.
What most people didn't know was that there was a way to end all the suffering. According to a prophecy, told by the man in black, there needed to be a sacrifice. A specific sacrifice. No one knew who this sacrifice was, but there was a never-ending search for them.
Character
Here are the limitations:
Your character must be semi-realistic. This is fantasy so of course I will allow some unrealistic elements, but don't go too over the top.
If you want romance then you can have it, but you better not get all gross and mushy. Once again, do you see what type of world they are living in? They don't have time for that s***!
We can talk about the plot more in the OOC chat. I tried to keep the plot semi-vague, so that everyone can contribute to the story and not feel like they are confined to one path. I will make the thread soon and link it here. Anyone interested?

- Your character must have a weakness.
- Your character must fit in with the theme of this RP. Don't bring in this Goddess or God of love whp just wants people to stop fighting and would never hurt a soul bull crap. This is a gritty RP, there will be blood. These people have been through hell, it is a dog eat dog world. Kill or be killed. No one is that nice, not in this world anyhow.
- Your character can be supernatural, like a ghost, an angel, or a demon. Just make sure it fits into the world.
