Would a earring relic be ok if it did this (to me it looks like google glasses, it saves images of maps and documents, it acts like a compace that points towards magic/relics, I could put points on a map and a arrow would appear pointing towards it, but only I can see it)

Yes, to the first one, with it being able to act as a map/navigation device throughout the world.
No to the latter, since that would be far too powerful without proper drawbacks, that's why I saved the whole "finding other artifacts" for the plot device I'll introduce during the course of the role-play.

I'll be putting up a Character sheet asap!

Ok the thing about artifacts is that you said that there were located near sources of magic and I was thinking that once we got towards it it would stop working like if you brought a compace neer a magnetic feild. But if that still seems too powerful that is ok.

WELL!
They're not always technically located at sources of heavy magic, but some artifacts are actually lying dormant and can only be awoken by being exposed to a well of primal energies, thus part of the job is not just tor retrieve said relics but also unlocking their hidden potential.

No worries though, I do like the many uses your personal relic has!

Yeah, its end was about 30-ish years ago, it's still very recent but the ones who actually fought in it have long been wiped off the face of the earth.
