Brick gave a loud huff at the umbreon who was sniffing him as he shook his head and sniffed the umbreon back. Nick laughed as he scratched Adonis gently, "Looks like we have a big star here don't we? No wonder you're so friendly, I bet you're always surrounded by your adoring fans." He said as he wrapped his arms around the friendly milotic. "I bet your owner has to keep you from wanting to cuddle with all of them." He laughed.

Pepper carrying Gem, walking with him and Ramona to the elevator. "I actually use him for both. He's quite strong despite what people think of him. But yes I use him for contests as well. Same with Matty here, I use him for fights and contests. He loves battling but is loved enough to be in contests." she said while Matthew was walking alongside them, arms crossed, his bangs covering his eyes. Pepper walking with Ramona as she gets in the elevator. "What about you're Sylveon?" she asked while leaning back against the wall of the elevator.

Adonis looks down at him and nuzzles his face a bit before giving a snort lightly in amusement at cuddling them, only cuddles them if he actually knows them or deems them worth of his attention.

Cross would have piped up with introducing herself, if the Sableye hadn't interrupted them. She had no idea what was going on, but she didn't really have any reason to care. So instead of getting upset, she simply took to change into pajamas. The autumn sunset was beginning to turn into a dreary night, and of all things, she just wanted to get out of her day clothes and into her comfy fuzzy pajama pants and her giant [ENTER OLD POKEMON ROCK BAND NAME HERE] t-shirt and just... Sleep. So off she wandered to go put her pajamas on.

Ramona looked over as the Sableye was being carried by the brunette beside her. "A male Milotic? That's interesting. And male Lopunny as well? Why not females? Not that I'm judging or anything." She said with a neutral expression. She wasn't looking for any kind of confrontation, so she had to confirm herself before Pepper would come up with any wrong ideas. She looked over at Pepper, then at the girl's Pokémon. Her green eyes eventually fell onto her own pretty pastel Pokémon.


"As for this little girl, this is Candy. She's one of my newer Pokémon, but that doesn't make her any less special." Ramona said as Candy the Sylveon purred. She clung close to her trainer's legs. "We've tried a little bit of contests back at home, but I've been everywhere, so it's hard to make time to have her perform. To be honest, I love contests though, and would certainly do them when I'm free. Maybe when I get back home or something." The ginger girl finished, joining Pepper in the elevator as well, back against the wall in a similar fashion as the brunette.

Pepper shrugs slightly. "It just happened I guess. Most of my team is guys except Ivy, my starter. Plus I dislike stereotypes. Lopunnies are both guys and girls, so i'm quite happy Matthew is a guy, he probably the second strongest next to Ivy. Thomas is more for defence then fighting, Adonis is tied for third strongest with Adam. Maximus is my pampered Ninetales who is okay at fight but more interested in contests, but he has proven himself many times over in fights when I needed him most." she said softly while smiling as Matthew gave a small nod and tiny smile.

Ramona thought about her own team. There were 4 males and only 2 females that she usually kept with her. She did agree with taking out stereotypes, but masculine Pokémon should be male, while feminine should be female. It just made more sense to the ginger. But, because of her respectable nature, she wouldn't put Pepper down for her thoughts and views. She would respect her in every way, especially if she had gotten the same respect back as well.

Pepper smiles a bit. "I bet she's a good asset on your team then." She said as she held Gem in her arms. Matthew leaning against the wall must like his trainer. "Oh and I'm sorry. Matthew is my Shiny lopunny while Adonis is my missing Milotic... Ivy, is my partner, she was the Sceptile who was fighting to come with. Adam is my Flygon and Thomas is my aggron." She said while shrugging. "Plus there was a time when Gardevoirs could be both genders without people trying to evolve them into Gallades if they were guys..." She said while thinking back to her own male gardevoir on her ranch who had a happy family with a female lucario.

Ramona felt something similar to a pang in her chest at the other girl smiling. The feeling someone would call 'butterflies in their stomach'. It wasn't really anything harsh, more unnoticeable than really sharp of a pain. The ginger let it go, however, and pushed away the thought. "Interesting team you have. Not in the bad way, of course. Very well set up regarding type matchups." She said, complementing the girl on her Pokemon choice, although she wouldn't have gone with a Lopunny of all creatures. Normal types weren't preferred in her case.


"At that point, yes, it wasn't confirmed on how exactly Gallade were to be evolved into, as if it were actually an entirely different and unique species. Only then did someone figure out Kirlia's special Fighting type evolution." Ramona said as the elevator began to come to a slowing stop. The metallic door began to open when the ginger told Pepper about her own team. "Well, you've met my sweetheart Candy here." she said as the shiny Sylveon purred.


"And then my lazy yet loyal Luxray back at the dorm named Raiden. Those who I have not let out yet are my mischievous Gengar Rokouré, a Tyranitar with rock solid nerves named Armageddon, a hotheaded Blaziken named Aeris, and finally a polite and gentle Hydreigon named Renegade." said Ramona, a smile stretching across her face as she describe the Pokemon who were her best friends.

Pepper nodded her head. "Thanks. Most people tend to underestimate my team because they think Matthew is useless because he's a normal type. He's actually quite versatile, especially with his cute charm ability." She said calmly while looking at the elevator doors as they opened and stepped out, looking back at Ramona, waiting for her to step out as well. "Seems like you have a pretty good team as well." She said while grinning at the other girl slightly.

Ramona stepped out of the elevator, her Sylveon at her side and requesting to be picked up. With a bend of the knee, she reached down to pet the shiny fox-like creature. "Yeah, I spent a couple years refining my team, visiting all the Pokémon regions pretty much known to man. I love traveling, so that's why I have one Pokémon from each region, respectively." She said, as her and Pepper(and her Pokémon and the Sableye) made their way down the hall, the purple creature with jeweled eyes directing them in the right paths. Soon enough, they would arrive at the proper destination.

Pepper looked at the door before her then at the paper in her hand before knocking. "Hello?" She called out softly. Matthew grumbled and went to lean against the wall beside the door, being impatient as always since he didn't get his fur fully brushed.

Nick looked as did Brick and Ongo-Bongo. He tilted his head as he looked at the trainer, his arms still wrapped out Adonis as Nick pet the milotic. He looked back at Adonis, "Is that your owner over there? She come to find her beautiful Pokemon?" He said patting Adonis's side. "Hey, I think this belongs to you." Nick said looking at Pepper.

Max opened the door and got a face full of Sableye, as Gem had jumped off Pepper and onto Max. He pulled the Pokemon off and let it crawl onto his shoulder. "Thanks for bringing him with you. He's not good on his legs." Max turned and looked at the Milotic. "Is that yours?"

Pepper sighs softly and smiles a bit. "Yeah... He's mine. He's a sneaky one." She said as Adonis quickly unravelled himself from Nick and quickly attached himself to Pepper. Pepper nearly falls from his weight. "W-woah!" She said as she stumbled a bit. Matthew quickly steadies her and gives Adonis a look as Adonis looks coyly at him.

Nick smiled as he went up to the girl and Adonis, Brick following behind him and looking out from behind him at the new girl, sniffing her. Nick shook his head, "Well that's brick. I'm Nick. I already met your milotic, he's quite th sweetheart. It's a pleasure to meet you miss...?" He said offering his hand and looking Pepper up and down.

Pepper manages to get her arm out from being wrapped up in Adonis. "I'm Pepper. And I'm glad he wasn't much trouble..." she said softly while petting Adonis who nuzzles her head while Matthew crosses his arms and looks annoyed at Adonis. Adonis giving him a cheeky look since the two are always competing sometimes.

Ramona appeared behind the brunette as the door opened. The Sableye sprung from Pepper's arms into the male that had opened the wooden entrance. He had blond hair and wore a black hat, that bearing an orange 9. He had strangely orange eyes that were complemented by his equally orange tee that showed under a white and black jacket that was halfway unzipped. The ginger's shiny Sylveon curled herself around her trainer's legs, like a feline would. Its bright pink eyes were trainer trained at the blonde male.


Since Ramona stood behind Pepper, she didn't bother trying to move and look inside the room, where the brunette's Milotic supposedly was. Aside from the blonde individual, Ramona heard the voice of another male inside the room. He asked about Pepper's Pokemon and if it were hers or not. So, the ginger simply remained, waiting for this encounter to finish. Candy was being bothersome, so the red-haired girl bent over at the knees to pet her Sylveon.

Only then did a Milotic appear and jump out at Pepper. Ramona instinctively rose up her hands in case of the brunette actually losing her balance and falling. But her shiny Lopunny came for assistance much faster. Then did the other male that Ramona heard come into view. He had short, dark hair, and bright blue eyes that stood out in contrast. He wore a relatively simple set of clothing. Then did he introduce himself, and Pepper did as well. Ramona stood up from kneeling so she could be in view to the two boys, and maybe introduce herself as well.


Candy the Sylveon meowed at the Milotic, as well as the new boys. Ramona shushed her and pat her head gently, the feline's pink-tipped ribbons curling around her forearm. The ginger wasn't sure why, but the smallest pang of feeling jabbed at her stomach when the dark haired individual with the blue eyes looked Pepper up and down. I think that's what people call jealousy... Ramona thought to herself, keeping a neutral expression. Both the new boys and Pepper were someone she could find herself interested in, but she wild have to get to know them better. Plus, relationships would have to wait; the competition is far more important.

Nick laughed silently, his body shaking as he patted the lopunny, gently rubbing his head, "Oh relax. You stand out plenty, trust me. You're just fine and no need to worry about not being noticed." He smiled at Pepper, "Quite the troupe you have here. Very colorful personalities I must say." He said as heard the meowing and looked behind Pepper, immediately going "awww" as he looked back, "And who's this cutie?" He said as he bent over and pet the sylveon, "You just wanna be vocal huh? Tell me all about what you're thinking then." He said as he pet its head. He looked up at the girl who was beside it. "And you would be the owner of this little talker I believe? My name is Nick, it's a pleasure to meet you and make your acquaintance." He shook her hand, "It's a pleasure to meet both of you."

Pepper watching him and tilts her head. "They are quite a handful..." she said while looking at Max. "Also he was no trouble at all.. and he was quite the sweetheart." she said while smiling a bit. Adonis still wrapped around Pepper, nuzzling her hair while Matthew let Nick pet him before huffing and following Pepper towards Neck.

Ramona smiled sheepishly at the darker haired male as he talked about her Sylveon being vocal and cute. The feline purred and rubbed her face against his hand, forcing out another cat-like noise. Ramona looked down at her Sylveon and rubbed the back of her neck in something close to embarrassment of some sort. "Well that's Candy, my little Fairy sweetheart. She likes meeting new people and Pokemon." She said, retaining the cute smile, her bright green eyes obviously alert on the male.


"But I'm Ramona. It's a pleasure as well. " She said as well, introducing herself as the brunette male—Nick—shook her hand. Her hand lingered in his for a second longer that a usual handshake, before Ramona pulled away with the slightest but of red coloring in her previously pale cheeks. She averted her gaze to Pepper, then to her Sylveon, who seemed to be enjoying the petting of Nick. Candy stepped forward, one foreleg crossed over in front of the other.
