Fantasy Reincarnated Heroes: medieval fantasy 6/8 spots filled

The world of Eldrein is one of mystery and magic. One such mysterious occurrence in Eldrein involves memories. For thousands of years people on Eldrein have fought, be it monsters or each other people have fought forever... However some battles are so legendary the moment never dies. Be it a blessing or a curse souls who live through extraordinary battles keep those experiences in death, reincarnating into a new body with the potential to unlock talents and skills from a previous life.

Reincarnation is known throughout the world, and it's to happen somewhat regularly all over Eldrein. During puberty is when flashes occur, memories of someone in battle, memories of your soul fighting in a previous life. Children who experience these flashes are sent to a academy of sorts to help master their inherent talents.

Skills from another life, but mostly combat oriented magic such as summoning and mana manipulation.
The largest academy resides in the Sul kingdom, where your story starts proper. Either as a graduate of talent academy or someone very close to it. Someone ready to become a hero,

If this seems your thing let me know so a bunch of characters can be gathered and sent on quests to slay evil across the lands. From orcs, dragons, vampires and more. Evil comes in many forms and it's your job as a reincarnated hero to slay it.

I can make the character page today, I'll tag everyone on the check so far but I just want to clarify that no one gets to make the "world ending hero" or the standard anime protagonist with all the powers.

Each talented character will recall skills from a previous life, these skills will be limited somewhat so everyone's character is different.

Summoning magic is creating or "summoning" a weapon/animal out of mana to help in battle.

Mana manipulation is converting mana for a effect, this is how someone shoots fire ice and thunder as well as other effects. Enhancing ones defense/strength or even to fly momentarily.

Most likely to change as the story progresses, each character will get three "spells" to recall. Be that summoning your favorite weapon or conjuring a ball of fire.

I encourage people to have interacted in past lives but like blackrose did ask first aha
Players can choose to have multiple past lives and memories or to learn from the current one.

But on a different note

Funnier President Femboy are good to go, their characters with mine (and any character above the age of nineteen)
Start in a specialist Squad, whose name I'm still deciding but it will most likely be something simple like
The blue dragons or the black lions Or the silver gryphons
(Feel free to suggest something as all characters are joining this team)

This team is under direct orders from the Talent master general of Sul academy, who takes direction from king Saul the third. Meaning they go across the lands taking on all manner of quests.

Ian Temero Prodigious Mage have made characters who have graduated at a gold rank, the first post would be after any celebrations with the graduating characters first arriving at the teams home base and being introduced to the veterans.
