Elizabeth glanced back at David, a slight blush gracing her cheeks, before she snorted derisively at Nathan. "Like I give a shit what a four year old thinks about my appearance. You're hilarious."

"Sculpting, I have this bust I'm making of Aphrodite. She so is so pretty, I feel like I know her."


He shook his head.


"That's a stupid though how can I know a mythical being."


He wondered why he felt like he knew some of the gods and goddesses of Greek mythology personally.

Devin laughed from his seat this class was always the most interesting to him "man this is gonna be a fun day" he said out loud for the first time.

Britney: the teacher comes in and tells us to read chapters 1-4 in our mythology book.

Elizabeth sighed in frustration. "You're impossible," she said, before finally picking up Illiad off of the floor, tucking it into her backpack, and in turn took out the textbook.

Britney: I read about the Olympians. When I looked at Hera's profile I felt like the words were glowing. I blinked a few times. I told myself it was an illusion. "Man, this motherf*cking Zeus guy seems like a jerk," I say as I read about him cheating

Kita nodded at David. "Nah, I don't that's stupid. I've been having weird dreams. And doodling odd things. They often remind me of that one goddess, Artemis. You know, that kinky one with the bow?" she laughed. It did sound like her. Hunting...and Kita was really a night owl. She preferred the light of the moon to anything, especially when she was hunting.

Stephani's eyebrows furrow as she reads about Persephone. About how she was the daughter of Zues and Demeter, and how Zues had cheated on Hera with Demeter. She rolls her eyes at how much of an idiot he was, then she tilts her head when she reads how Persephone was kidnapped and raped by her uncle, Hades. "That's fucked up." She whispers.

Devin leaned in a little interested in hades whole story including his and persephone's little love story.

Britney: I leaned closer to the book. I feel like my life is a bit like Hera's. Hera couldn't leave Zeus because of her love for him. I feel the same about Justin. I stopped and looked over at Justin and smiled.

Elizabeth read the pages that the teacher instructed like they were old friends. She smiled at the picture of Athena and brushed her fingertips over her. She felt strongly empathetic towards her, being one of the few voices of reason in the midst of chaos. Looking around the room, she thought: Yeah, I can definitely relate to that. Though the part about her popping out of Zeus's head was a little weird...

"Come on Britney that was a mistake and you knew it!" He complained as I read about everything and after he read Zeus' part he saw lighting flash through with a picture of him... "What the..."

Nathan: That Athena b*tch seemed so fricken annoying. How would a spring of water lose to olives? WATER IS LIFE 
Britney: I turned away. I'm supposed to be mad at him I told myself.

David smiled.


"Well then we both must be crazy!"


He took out his book and started reading. It was odd he felt a weird connection to to the god Hephaestus. In fact he felt like that was real name. He pushed his book back when his face kept appearing in the painting of Hephaestus.


"Okay, anyone else seeing things?"

Devim laughed as he read about all of Hades tricks and schemes against his brothers he could honestly relate to this guy "come on god of tge underworld with a badass dog like cerberus that sounds awesome"he said as he looked down a picture of hades which looked like it had caught fire for a second.

Britney: I looked at the picture of Hera. She was so pretty. Hera seemed to have some of the same features as I do. I somehow feel like I know this Zeus.

He smirked as she looked at me, she may be annoying but he loved her. "Come on I'm still really sorry for that." He said to her.

Britney: "Did I just see the letters "Hera" glow? Where did I get this peacock feather earring?" I asked outloud 
Nathan: "I think I just saw a trident glow.... Is anyone else see things?"

"Yeah, I'm seeing things."


David pushed the book away from him.

Devin slowly pushed his book away as it literally caught on fire "what the hell is going on here?"he said as he attempted to put the fire out.

"I saw lightning. Can someone tell me what the hell is happening!?" He asked. He wasn't afraid but yet he didn't care.

She laughed to herself at the part where Athena defeated Poseidon as the patron of Athens. He was a prick anyways... But as she looked at the face of the sculpture of the goddess that she thought she knew by heart, she thought she saw her features morph slightly, and Elizabeth started when Athena came up looking like, well, her. All of a sudden, she smelt olives. At that moment, she heard the tail end of Nathan's question from behind her. "Um... " She was about to say something when the whole class burst out similar exclamations.
