Realistic or Modern Reily's home for the orphaned and abused

He let out a sigh again, "squishy you say..." He pulled his hand away and saw that part of it melted into slime. Then the sun finally set, and the whole sky was reddish orange. "What if i was not squishy?"

Akira was confused. "Hikari, I know what this is about. And I haven't made up my mind yet." she said.

Hikari Melted and surrounded Akira, "I have been thinking Akira, I am not human nor am i human like creature." Then his torso raised behind her, "My biology is too different from yours,"

He Shifted behind her, "You need someone who can hold you, You need someone who could comfort you, you need someone who is has lived alittle longer then 10 years..." Then he seeped into the ground, "Make the right choice Akira." He then slithered away from the hell alone, If he was a human, tears would be rolling down his face. 'Its what is best for her... She needs a human-like person to be safe, not some blob...'

Hikari seeped into the orpanage and snuck into Kian room. "WAKE UP, Kian... Go hang out with Akira, she on this hill singing, and it is getting dark..."

Kian was surprised by the yelling of the slime kid. He hurriedly reached for his glasses as he woke up, eyes kept tightly shut. "Wh-what are you doing Hikari?" he stood up and fixed himself

"Long story lazer Kian," Hikari responded quickly, "All you need to know is that Akira is outside by herself in the dark... You should go keep her company." Then Hikari Blew his self to the the half the size of the room, "Dont make me steal your glasses again :P "

"o-okay..." he pulled the garters of his pajamas and made his way outside. He found Akira on a hill singing a lovely tune. He looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "H-hey Akira..." he smiled his awkward smile.

He inched closer to her, he leaned over with a mildly worried face, "You okay...?" he wondered as he sat beside her. His glasses shuffled between the bridge of his nose.

Akira smiled sadly. "Yeah. I am good. Just a tough decision to make." She said, smiling at him. "But otherwise, yeah. I am good."

He looked away from Akira, so he could look at the sky. He raised an eyebrow, "D-decision...?" he wondered.

Akira sighed. "Yeah, I guess. You and Hikari are both gunning for me, and I don't know what to do. And I probably just made this awkward didn't I?" She asked.

He looked at Akira once again, for the first time in his stay at the orphanage he didn't smile awkwardly, he smiled warmly. "Look, I-I just find you really pretty...but...but that doesn't mean I'm gunning for you." he paused and blushed. "If you feel rushed...or just pressure in general, you shouldn't." he smiled awkwardly again.

Akira blushed. 'Not really. I am just entering an area that I have never been in before. Frankly, I don't really know what love is."

Kian held her hand without any second thoughts. "So do I..." he looked out into the sky and asked, "Hey...you wanna see something cool?" he gently took his glasses off and let his beams fly high into the sky.

Akira smiled, looking up at the sky. "Wow." She said, gently leaning on his shoulder.

After a somewhat uneventful evening outside in the orphanage's grounds, Riik's night took a peculiar turn as he saw a pair of strange beams of light shooting into the sky. Climbing down from the building's damaged rooftop, Riik investigated to see if he could find the source of the unusual light. He stopped a short distance away from the couple and watched for a bit. He had not been introduced to some of the latest inhabitants, as he tended to sleep during the day and spend the nights roaming around outside. His timid behaviour also kept him at a distance from the others. And so the sight he was now witnessing was something entirely new to him. He did not really know what to think, but given that one of the two happened to be Akira, he decided not to get any closer. Not after last time he was near to her. He certainly would not forget the tree incident any time soon.

Kian's blood rose up to his face, particularly his cheeks, no girl has ever done that to him. He shut his eyes closed and put on his glasses again. "Wh-which reminds me...wh-what's your powers?" he asked, stroking the hair on the back of her head.

Hikari wandered around the house before seeing a blue light in the sky. 'Are they under attack' he rushed out outside to there location but hid behind a tree. There he saw Akira leaning in Kian.

'Whew I was so scared and it looks like they are well off... He much better than a sack of water like me'

Despite how happy he wanted to be, he could not stop the upset feeling he had in his stomach. He left the area venturing into the forest until he saw Riik.

Perfect person to distract Hikari, "hey riik what you stalking this time"

Akira blushed, feeling his hand on her head. It felt good. Smiling she closed her eyes. "It's a bit hard to explain, and showing you is something that might cause you to go deaf. Hmmm." She said. "Really want me to show you?"
@Kiclack

He kept silent for a moment, wondering to himself if he wanted to go deaf, but he was really curious. Kian nodded his head and fixed his gaze upon Akira. "Yeah, I...I kinda do..."

Akira smiled and lifted her head off his shoulder. "Alright. Then you might want to cover your ears." She said. As soon as his ears where plugged, she gathered a sound ball in her hands(Which really only looked like a blue ball of energy) and shot it at the ground, a large boom echoing off the houses and trees. She looked down, seeing the hole she had created in the ground.

Kiyoshi awoke with a start, drenched in sweat and breathing heavily. He'd had another nightmare, about the experiments. He sighed. He hadn't gotten a night without nightmares for 10 years, it was normal, and he expected it, but he had had a small glimmer of hope that now the government had decided to leave him alone they would stop, but he had hoped falsely. He made his way to his feet with a groan, and changed into a pair of clothes in the cupboard at the side of the room, except for his scarf, which he always kept on. He then walked into a bathroom which was joined to his room. He splashed his face and brushed his teeth with a toothbrush out of a small packet he'd been given which had sanitary items for his use. After walking down the wooden steps he found himself in the hallway once more, deciding to enter one of the rooms along it he found himself in a living room type area, with a sofa, and a television. Though he doubted it showed much. They were probably quite cut off from society, and besides, he didn't really like television any way, it never really engaged with him the same way books did. He sat on the long sofa, and looked thoughtful, seemingly waiting, however he was waiting for nothing at all.
