Fandom Red vs. Blue: New Gulch Stories

Eh, I've seen sillier in my time here. Honestly this doesn't even hit my top 50 randomly abandoned characters.

Sorry, that's usually what how I describe leaving a character.


On this site there are many ways to "Leave" a character. Whether it's discontinuing involvement, allowing someone else to acquire them etc etc.


Though the term is much harsher sounding in actuality the fact is that you left this character on the sidelines to introduce a new one. And though that doesn't immedotaely categorize it as abandoned the manner in which you did suggests that we will not be seeing much of Boom sooner or later.

Well, Blue Sergeant Carl thinks he's a Red, the red Team thinks he's one of them. Blue Private Mint thinks Carl's trying to go undercover, nuetral French robot named Phillipe and Mint are current'y beating the hell out of each other because of both of their somewhat distant ties to Freelancer.
Lopez 3.0 from, desperate for a way out of the canyon, has the same plan as Sergeant Walts, also trying to flee the canyon. And without realizing it the two of them get the majority of red team involved in stealing Philipe's damaged ship. And while Lopez 3.0 is convinced he can fix it with time, Walts thinks they'll need Philipe himself so he's dragged Private Laney over to Blue base to kidnap the French robot, without knowing that they're about to run into Mint and Philipe's little fight.


Red Private Bek has been left on Dibs duty with the ship, Carl's asleep. Melanie's still recuperating from her head injury in the Red prison with "secret blue plans" given to her before being sent there. Also I'm pretty sure Red General Boom's still locked away in Blue prison, but Deadkool seems to have ditched him for some reason.


That's just off the top of my head and I'm sure there's some missing but yeah, not too much happened.

Holy hell. Not too much happened?! Dude, I don't even know where to begin my character at with all of that shit going on. You guys sure have been busy.

Your character's new right? So say that she accidently wandered into the massive cave system that surrounds the canyon and have been living off cave creatures for the past few days/weeks, that's pretty much what I did. She could've come from anywhere and just accidently wandered in.


Or hell, say that she arrived to the canyon and wandered in or something. Those things are infamous for being ungodly difficult to navigate anyway.

I don't see why not, half of the characters were just shoehorned in. Unless you want to add another future story arc depending on the specifics of your arrival, I don't think you should do anything too special.

Then have him get sent there in literally the shittiest, most deplorable way possible. You can join @BlueHawk on Team Meatshield and get dicked around by @LeviathanL as he tries to discipline the Red Team, or try to wake up Melanie or something. This'll be a great excuse to get thoe two back into a story arc or something.


Yeah, Carl thinks all the Reds are punks due to Walts's less than stellar sayings. Your character and Mitch take the brunt of his attmpts to get some discipline in your diet while also trying to interogate a prisoner with a headwound.

Well I would'a suggested being locked in an on board toilet then being ejected with it into the planet's atmosphere. Through sheer horrible luck, surviving the tumble and sloshing of bodily fluids before implanting yourself in the wall of the canyon.


But that's just me, I'll like hearing other forms of putting characters through unfair situations so do go on.
