Fantasy Reboot: Death Wood High

Justin smiled at her and he grabbed his scythe and suddenly they disappeared into a different dimension and they didn't have any weapons so it was a forced hand to hand combat "You ready?"

"Isn't this a neat little trick.." This was bad, without her equipment she was at a disadvantage. She'd need to try and end this as soon as possible. Knowing this she launched her first attack, charging Justin and leaping into a kick once she was reasonably close to him.

He smirked as he saw her. He let the hit hurt him but his recovery was quick he was swifter than you think and he ran behind her attempted a jab then ran to the front and attempted there too.

Lillin was taken off-guard by the speed of his recovery, and was still reeling back from her own attack when he struck her in the back. She was expecting the second strike though, and shifted her weight forward into it, attempting to get a grip on his head while he was still attacking.

Misaki followed Hilda. She didn't know anything about fighting and the only reason she brought a weapon was because the letter said to.

He was surprised she thought of a plan so fast he just kicked his leg down and backflipped away from her. "So you wing with fights from the time you start, that's not so smart."

"Well, you forced me into a pretty awkward situation here. I'm not too used to fighting without my gear you know?" She said, using the downtime to shift into a more defensive stance. "How about we make this fair? Pop us both on back to the gym so we can fight properly, with our weapons. Or are you afraid you'll lose to a girl if you do that?" She continued, smirking as she spoke.

"I'm not afraid and if I wanted to do that I would've done it sooner I'm better at close combat." He said then he ran behind her and attempted to kick at her back with full force.

Spotting Justin moving in to attack from the rear again Lillin threw herself forward. His attack still landed a hit but the blow was softened due to the distance she'd cleared from her original spot. Tumbling as fair distance from Justin, so she could more easily anticipate his next attack Lillin began to speak again. "They why don't you huh? Don't you want to fight each other at our best?"

He smirked and made it look like he was gonna attack from the back but the real plan was to hit her from the side. "What would you be if you defeat a single person in hand to hand?"

Harm sighed and took her assignment in silence, she knew that everyone in this school would be a opponent at one time but she wished it wasn't Mifune on the first day back. As she watched the initial fight she turned to Mifune and said "well at least now I get to see your fighting style" she gave a short chuckle.

(sorry I didn't get a notification XP)

Mifune sighed as he watched the first fight. "Yeah I guess you will just know I wont go easy on you." Mifune said still watching the fight he was lying slightly since he didn't want to hurt her even if it was by mistake but looking weak would be a mistake.

Harm wasn't surprised at his statemnt everyone is an enemy at some point. Harm wouldn't try to seriously injure him, but she wasn't giving up that easy. Harm smiled at him "I wouldn't want it any other way." She turned back to the fight smiling at their banter.

Hilda turned around to speak to the girl behind her, who happened to be her opponent. "Do you have any idea what's going on here? This is my first day here, and I'm reslly confused. Why do we need to fight?" She feigned innocence, deducing that the other girl probably didn't know much about fighting, seeing that she held a short knife in her hand.

For now, Lillin decided she would try and keep her distance. It was clear that she wouldn't be able to beat him in a purely hand to hand fight, so she'd have to hope this weird-ass trick of his had some sort of a time limit, or she'd have to try and convince him to send them back. "Slightly more accomplished?" She said as she leaped back, now focusing on maintaining her distance from him.

"Well aren't you generous? How about the chains with the blades and the musket then?" She said, smiling because she'd now be able to fight properly, though she hoped she'd retrieve his weapons too, otherwise this wouldn't be nearly as much fun.

Lillin smiled as her weapons appeared, stowing the musket on her back and taking hold of one of her chains in each hand, at about mid length. "Well, lets get started then shall we?" She said as she darted forward, swinging a chain in a medium, diagonal arc as she charged.
