I'm sorry I vexed you sincerely, it was not my purpose and I was just kidding, truly, that's why I put a "^^" at the end of it all...to mark the irony of thinking "about the spirit of it, before thinking about optimisation"
It would be foolish from me to pretend to be against optimization, because a part of Exalted is all about that... being the best at what you do... It is clearly written in the corebook... "Thou must Kick Ass Divinely"... or "Thou must not get your Divine Ass kicked", and the better way to abide by those commandments is to optimize your character to an undecent level of efficiency... and I LOVE that...just as I LOVE the many opportunities to have a great RP in the game through interactions with the most exotic characters and universe I've seen in the past years in a RPG.
I would be a fucking moron trying to make Exalted looking like a "Vampire the masquerade session" with the worst gothic fan of "the Crow" as a GM quoting every two minutes "Life is darkness and pain... and pain is my poooooweeeeer" dressed like Lestat in the "Queen of the Damned" (THAT sucked)...though I like Vamps and The Crow pretty much, and have many gothic friends...even mastering an Abyssal session I can't let myself go that far into the dark side of the force :lol:

No more Heavenly Guardian Defense for me here.
