zen looked down sighing "still i'm sorry...well...if you'll excuse me i have a weapon to fuse" he headed off to the armoury preparing to start the fusing process

"So...thank you. It's not your fault... I don't blame you for it.."

zen nodded to aura as he began working he thought to himself 'when did i start doing this professionally'

 

[Aurath Moonblood]

"So... You made this a hobby?"

 

[zenreaper]

"eh i guess you could call it that " he was in the process of measuring the cuts he would need to make in the sword to implant the cores. beside him he had a pouch of shattered cores. he needed a shard of another core to activate the first and fuse the core with the steel

Yuriko was right behind them watching. She needed to know for herself how to do it. She couldn't rely on others to do things. She watched noting things down on the way.

zen finished measuring and cutting. he slid the reaper cores into place and took out a small hammer and 5 of the reaper shards. he hammered one shard into each core and the once dim cores began to grow bright red and heated up. a black ooze filled out of the cores and covered the metal they were touching fusing the structures together"and done!"

aura's eyes eidend, but he remained quiet.

 

[zenreaper]

zen wiped the sword off removing any excess goo and examining it he turned to yuriko" now you just need to tune it to your threads and it'll be fully customized"

 

[Kazu Kun]

"Interesting..."


The sword had a blue like wave or aura to it. Now the color changed to red. Yuriko slowly took the sword and swung it around. It felt lighter somehow.


"Thanks Zen!"

 

[zenreaper]

"no problem" zen replied "its always cool watching that happen"

 

[Kazu Kun]

"Am I able to go out to the field? I need to test this out?... Wait no... Zen I got one more weapon for you to infuse..."


Yuriko sheathed the sword on her back and took out an ice pick grip short sword. She handed it to him gently.

he shrugged "sure thing" he went through the whole process again but only needing one shard and core this time


(i have to actually do stuff in school tomorrow so i need sleep )

"Thanks again..!"


Yuriko gently and slowly took the weapon back after the process and wandered off to her squad's armory. Yuriko started to sharpen the blades careful not to destroy the cores.
