Aaron seems to be a lot happier and friendly now that he's out of the main base, he smiles more and keeps checking on the group "Cam you okay? You look a little cold man" Aaron smiles at Cam and then nods at James to thank him when he puts the blanket on Asilia

When Chisaki looked at him, she noticed a man much older than him. A man in his fifties, Goodrich had definitely seen the rise of the reapers and in each of the unique folds of his crow's feet, she could see a story and a well versed experience. He had never told anyone except his old garrison about his previous duties, and no one here had dared to ask the mysterious armored man about his past. His eyes looked to the right of her at a passing janitor before locking with hers. His eyes were just as blue and endless as his visor.


"No need to thank me. Are you ready to go?"

"We need to move until we can't see the sun." He said and started making a blanket out of his threads. He made it of light alloys and made it into thin layers with air between them. He then walked over to Aaron and Asilia, putting them over Asilia who was on his back.

Cam glares at James as he lays the blanket over Asilia. Seeing what he was actually doing, Cam simply directed his vision back towards the plains of snow. He suddenly sees a patch of trees and a lake up ahead. "We'll set up there." He says, pointing his finger towards the lake. He glances at Aaron, "Yeah, sort of. Not used to being cold. Originally I could just warm myself up using my power, but that went down the toilet." He says simply.

Cam glares at James as he lays the blanket over Asilia. Seeing what he was actually doing, Cam simply directed his vision back towards the plains of snow. Aaron takes off his hoodie and throws it to Cam "wear it, it's super warm" Aaron is in a T-shirt now and it appears that the cold doesn't phase him one bit

"Thanks." Cam says as he puts the hoodie on. It did help, but his face was still numb from the cold. He didn't mind it much though, with the exception that it caused him to stutter more often. "H-how much fur--" He stops, swallowing and licking his chapped lips before he continues, "How much further to the castle you think? I haven't really been keeping track." He says with a chuckle. Chisaki gazed into Goodrich's eyes for a while before nodding. "Y- yeah." She said and turned around to walk towards the medbay. Her movements were much more natural now. It was like she had changed completely.

"James...we're all doing this for her" Aaron sighs "we're all here for Asilia, to make sure she gets home without another psychopath taking her." He looks at the floor "when I first found her my instincts kicked in, I saw this helpless girl on the floor, bleeding pretty badly and that's when I decided that I'm essentially going to be her big brother. Yes that does mean I'm going to annoy her and tease her but let me tell you this, if someone so much as looks at her the wrong way I'll make sure there isn't enough of them left to bury"

Not knowing what to do,John heads to his squad area and started working in his robot,then trained.this is what he was planning to do evrey day until they came back with news or he was given news.(afk for a wee bit,gotta eat and stuff.)

Goodrich followed her silently, holding the weights and humming softly as he walked. It almost sounded like a droning to Chisaki, considering his only way of communicating to the outside world was via his speaker system, but he managed to stay well in tune. It was not unpleasant to the ears, which she probably appreciated. He also watched her movement return to normal, which brought a subconscious smile to his face, though it was quick to return to its neutral scowl, which he held toward everyone to not allow insight into his thoughts. He had already broken his rule and showed his face, but he thought it was better to breach his animosity than to have this girl humiliate herself with her crooked walking. He hoped she appreciated it.

[SSgt Goodrich]

Goodrich had set the weights down on a counter when they entered the medbay, his eyes looking around the peaceful patients who slept. He had not realized how tranquil the medbay was, and despite the occasional cough and groan, each of the patients were well taken care of. He gave a salute of respect to all those who had lost in their service.


After his salute, he looked to Chisaki and her small stature, his head tilting down to accommodate it. He held his hands behind his back and spoke.


"Is that all that you require of me?"

"Yeah. Lucky he wasn't from the special forces. I remember a dude trying to pick a fight while back home. My whole squad beat him up and he was hospitalized." James said and chuckled.

Chisaki was looking around the medbay, trying to find her sister and Aaron. She frowned slightly as she didn't find them and jumped up as she was startled by Goodrich's question. She looked at him and nodded. "T- thank you for helping me." She said, bowing to him.

"The guy tried to fight back...he ended up with half a whisky bottle jammed in his side, his watch made me a pretty penny though" Aaron laughs

James shook his head and looked at Asilia. He then pulled out a little map from his pocket along with a flashlight that he illuminated against the map. He studied it for a while and sighed.

Revnoir was entirely silent for the whole thing, always keeping an eye out for any Reapers. Grunts wouldn't be a problem with such a large group, but Elites may cause a problem if these Weavers weren't prepared and Nobles would end in some people sustaining deadly injuries. Xillia always kept close to her childhood friend, not quite comfortable with the others just yet. She honestly just wanted to go home to Weave, but she wouldn't tell them that.

 

[SSgt Goodrich]

Goodrich nodded as she bowed, chuckling lightly and placing his left hand on her shoulder. Unlike the right hand that he placed on her shoulder before, his left hand was hard and heavy; the signs of a prosthetic. He lifted his hand off her shortly after making contact.


"No problem, kid. Where is your sister and Aaron? I thought he was still injured?"

Chisaki shrugged. "Sis is probaby on the roof but I don't know about Aaron." She said and walked out of the medbay, heading towards the roof.
