GryphonABLaZ(E). Lawful chaotic good
All of them.iChaotic said:"Well, who've you lost?" He asked curiously, rubbing his eyes one last time - the colour was finally changing back from red to white. Jack didn't care if it was a personal question; which was ironic because he hated being asked personal questions. @Spazzycat101
A chorus began to echo in her head, and before a few seconds it felt like a hammer at the base of her skull.
All of them. All of them. All of them.
Her eyes had sunk to watch her toes again, and it was almost a whole minute before she showed any sign of answering. It wasn't a question she liked to hear. 'Are you okay? Who was it?' It was as if people expected her to be excited to share that her whole family was dead. Her hand gripped her shirtsleeve behind her back ever tighter, and before her mouth opened to speak, she jumped slightly at the sound of tearing threads-- not threads from a core, but that which bound fabric at the seams-- from behind her. Leah's head, which had risen reluctantly to reply, fell again to study her shoes. Her face didn't have much expression, it was hidden. If her eyes would have been visible though, one would have simply seen a strong desire not to think, not about that. She didn't remove her hands from behind her back; she could feel the new tear in her sleeve, about a half-inch wide. Her thoughts took up a new lyric. Dammit...
