Fantasy Reaper: Reboot

dante had followed the small group to the canteen. he sat at the far end in a corner. his presence was like a ghost , all seeing and unheard.

Seeing the kids burst in now, heading straight for the kitchen, Stephen put out his cigarette and donned his helmet. He did not like being seen without it.


He stood from his empty table, which he had always dreamed would be full one day, and took to one of the walls of the room. From there he hoped to get by unnoticed. He looked with keen eyes at the bodies entering, and realized it might be best to avoid the aggressive one for the rest of the day. He then saw the stitched boy take a corner, sitting silently, as expected, and he felt a wave of pity. He had no doubt he was a weaver, but no living thing deserves solitary. He took a slow walk to him, his hand still clutching the cigarette that was half smoked.


"You know, your friends are in the kitchen. You don't need to stand over here."

Aaron continues mumbling the lyrics and looks around, he pokes Chisaki and points at Goodrich in the corner and whispers "look it's the guy I 'disarmed' earlier" he laughs to himself and walks to Reira "so do we have sushi?"

Chris looked at the arm was given. "Well guess I gotta add this to my list of things." Chris said as he rubs his head. "Hey you over there in the corner lets go get something to eat my treat I suppose." He said with a smile. "You can come to if you want Cam"

he tilted his head at stephen. writing out small not and showing it to him "i'm not used to having so called 'friends'"

"And what gift is that?" Aura asked

 

[SSgt Goodrich]

"Friends? Well, you don't need friends to sit with strangers. In fact... Strangers are family you just don't know yet."


He reached out his hand and patted Dante on the shoulder. His hand, though heavy, was purposefully softened to avoid unintentional injury. He looked at the kitchen, which he was sure was slowly becoming a mess.


"Come. Let's sit."

Aaron walks into the main part of the canteen and looks over at Dante and Goodrich and then goes back to quietly singing, he slowly starts walking towards them

dante blinked as stephen patted his shoulder . he had never thought of things that way before. he nodded and went along with him.

Aaron slowly approaches Stephen and Dante, both of his earphones in.


(Just realised I'd been calling him Goodrich instead of Stephen)

dante looked to Aaron as he approached. he gave him a nod of acknowledgement. he held up a not reading "what are they cooking?"

He looked at Aaron, and his eyes diverted, hoped to not cause any more trouble. He stopped in his tracks as Aaron approached, and he gave a small glance of recognition before he looked back at Dante.

he quickly wrote a small note in reply "18" it read.dante was oddly short for his age at 5'4 but it didn't really bother him that much.

Aaron smiles "they're making sushi" he walks over to Stephen and stops "I just wanted to apologise for before, I was out of line" he removes one of his earphones as he starts speaking

Goodrich was silent, though he gave one long nod and moved his hand lightly. His hand was open, which is a sign of peace, and he spoke softly like the motions of his hand.


"Do not worry about it. Try not to make a mess in there, okay?"

dante had never tried sushi before mostly because he had to eat everything through a straw but he would still like to try it regardless. he slowly held up a not reading;"can i have sushi blended?"

Aaron sits down and smiles and offers out his hand to shake Stephen's "name's Aaron, I'm a shadow thread weaver" he smiles "and you are?"

Aaron looks at Dante "Uh blended? You sure you don't wanna try it whole?" He lifts a piece of sushi to his mouth with his chopsticks "much better whole"

Aaron sighs "I wouldn't try it blended if I were you, it's fish...it'll taste like vomit" he eats the sushi and shakes his head "am I allowed to ask why your mouth is stitched or is it too personal?" Aaron looks at Dante with a sense of pity

He shrugs "either way these doctors sound like assholes, you don't sew a guy's mouth shut it's just wrong" Aaron eats another piece of sushi and thinks to himself I wonder if I can get those stitches out, I mean he has to est food normally, he can't drink his food. It won't taste the same

Aaron hands the plate of sushi over to Cam "enjoy it, Reira makes kickass sushi" Aaron looks at Cam, then Dante and then Stephen, "guys I have a question, why are shadow and light thread weavers stronger than other thread users? Before they gave me my core they told me that I'd be more powerful than the average thread user, I mean it's not bad but they never told me why" he looks at the table and makes a small thread that slithers through his fingers

he shrugged again. sliding Aaron another note "i have no idea but eating corn and beef blended is something i don't wish to do again"
