Fantasy Reaper: Reboot

Chisaki glanced up at Aaron for a while and then looked at his hand, flinching back as she saw the claws. Reira giggled and put her hand onto Aaron's hand. "Chisaki was almost killed by the said threads. Though some weavers from an another base saved her. She admires weavers but is too shy to become one." She said and stopped. Chisaki then suddenly spoke. "T- Thank you." She said, bowing to Aaron.

"I don't see why you're thanking me" he says with a smile. He turns his hands back to normal and blinks, his red eyes catching the light "Being a weaver isn't a bad thing, once you get used to them it's fine, you just don't feel the greatest after the operation" he sighs and then takes a sip of the now cold coffee
Aura looked down at the masked man. "Tell me exactly what I have to do....."
"You assemble your army and await further instructions. You'll need to have our backs when things get risky."

Aaron begins practicing with his threads, he creates a broadsword out of them and laughs "This is awesome, I can't lie" he swings the sword around and smiles, as he does more threads spread out of his hands and work their way to the end of the sword, lengthening it by a few inches. "So I can create weapons just but imagining the weapon...now I need to see if I can use my threads to darken the entire room" he taps his foot "I wonder how I should go about this"

Chisaki shook her head and backed away a bit. Reira stood up and pulled Chisaki up too, smiling to Aaron. They then turned around and leaned against the wall, whispering with each other.

Aaron concentrates deeply and threads spread out on the floor around him, the threads reach the walls and then stop. "This requires so much concentration, I guess I need to get stronger" the threads recede and wrap around his body creating a black armour, only his red eyes are visible. "Woah this is sweet, I can make armour too?"

Reira giggled and nodded. "You should see some of the stronger weavers. They can create quite amazing things. You could become one of them with enough training." She shouted to Aaron.

Aaron lets the threads disappear and laughs "A few months ago I'm running from the reapers and now I can create shadow threads, life is strange don't you think?" He shakes his head and brushes his auburn hair out of his eyes

Goodrich combat rolled and stood a few steps back from Jack. The blade was stuck in his armor at this point, its edge dulled from being used bluntly, and he attempted to pull it from the ceramic. However, when the blade could not be removed, he grumbled lowly. He hated doing this.

Knowing procedure, he reached up to the top of his arm, near the shoulder, and pulled a couple small latches. When he unclicked the final latch, the entire arm fell to the ground, armor, blade, and all. He the proceeded to glare at Jack, his voice raising to a shout. The shout was low and almost demonic from the speakers trying to match his volume.

"Are you insane?! Are you trying to kill me?!"

Aaron looks at Goodrich and tilts his head "Did you just remove your arm?!" He laughs "does it grow back or do you have a supply of fake arms? In fact why not just pull the blade out" he shales his head and weaves threads around his arm and laughs

Both the girls nod in unison.

Holding his sword he stabbed the ground with it, using it as support to stand back up. "Ah shit.. hey man, I didn't mean to do that. It wasn't exactly me. Well, it was... but that was my old personality." Jack exclaimed, still holding the side that was hit earlier; whilst his other hand rested on the sword.

@SSgt Goodrich
"The dude just got rid of his arm, is no one else going to address this?" Aaron looks at Jack and then at Goodrich "You guys got way too into that 'training' didn't you?" He laughs and turns to Reira and her sister and smiles "What are you two whispering about?"

He was in a sort of dark room. The only light shining was from a door directly in front of him. Passing minutes of being chained to a chair soon felt like hours, until, finally, the creaking of the door was heard. A figure suddenly stood in front of him. However, it was too dark to see. The man's pose looked familiar though. The man glared to a figure that was to the right and muttered in a cold voice, "We'll stick him with the..." The man's voice seemed to cut off for a moment, but continued seconds later, "... For now." What did he say? Cam wondered just as he woke up. It wasn't a nightmare, but something was definitely off and eerily familiar about that dream. Cam had greeted Leah before, and ended up falling asleep in a barracks room filled with bunk beds. They were oddly comfortable. He slowly got to his feet, the dream completely being forgotten as he soon ended up back in the training room. He closed the door behind him and looked around, surprised that people were here at this time. He approaches Aaron and the two new girls, asking, "Hey guys, what's up?"

Aaron shrugs "I'm learning to use my threads and those guys are whispering" as he says this black threads spin counter clockwise along his arm, they get to his hand and spin to a point, his arm now looks like a black spear "woah I turned my arm into a weapon, anyway how are you cam?"

Goodrich gritted his teeth under the visor, his right hand gripping his tactical knife.

"You expect me to buy that bullshit? That swing was meant to kill, you best watch your back on the battlefield. A stray bullet may square your back, rookie."

Picking up the arm, he shoved past Jack and went to the two medic siblings. He ignored their privacy and their conversation, dropping the heavy 30 pound prosthetic into their arms.

"You guys work in the medical wing. It will take some tugging, but you need to take off the plate and work on the arm."

Aaron laughs "Can't we just use our threads to reattatch it? I mean the threads could hold it in place while the wound heals and voila! Arm is back" Aaron sighs "or that would be the case if it wasn't a prostethic..." he sighs and tries spreading his thread over the room again, this time they cover the entire floor and half of the walls, the room begins to go dark.

Conversations forgotten... again. Leah had retreated to a corner of the room, now out of the way and still toying with a palm full of earth threads. She was ambient and simply watching the commotion over the non-weaver's prosthetic limb, and... Wait, was that person honestly thinking that it was possible to reattach a lost limb? A flesh-and-blood limb? Disgusting idea... Leah shivered and went back to her tiny project. Her attention was only acquired when she felt something beneath her feet and the light in the room suddenly began to dim. The threads quickly disappeared into her hand and her blank face turned curious at the sight of black threads straining to cover the majority of the room. These threads... they were difficult to distinguish from a Ghoul's threads, but noting that it was a person controlling them determined that it was simply a shadow weaver. They seemed like they were a rookie when they walked in... To her, using threads was like using a prosthetic limb that she had never had before. How peculiar that a newbie should be as skilled as that.

Nevermind how skilled they were, the room was darkening quickly! Stumbling around blindly in dark wasn't very fun, in her opinion. Even still, she didn't speak up or shout, she simply approached and butted into the conversation between Aaron and Cam.

'Could you not? I don't think many of us have very prominent night-vision.'

After speaking, she watched the soldier storm from the room, wondering what 'alternative personality' Jack could've been referencing. A bit off, a claim like that seemed. Well, more than a
bit off... It seemed Leah was correct in wondering if the two had actually intended to stab each other through the core.

Aaron nods and the threads all recede back into him, he wipes sweat from his forehead "I need to practice that more, I can almost do it" he laughs and turns to Leah "I'm sorry about that. And Cam I'm fine, I just needed to rest last night that's all" he looks around the room and points at goodrich "so who's G.I. Joe and why is he so annoyed? If it's just a prosthetic then he can just reattatch it"

"Hmm, yeah same here." He slurs, referring to having departed to bed the evening formerly.

It was an extensive night of nightmares, that of which Cam could scarcely recall. He looked back at Goodrich and endeavored to answer Aaron's inquiry, "I don't know. The man seems to have a bit of pride in his armor, just like most Weavers appear to have pride in their powers."

"Yeah it seems like it" Aaron plays with his threads and laughs "whoever he is, it seems like he takes training way too seriously" he pulls the hood of his hoodie over his head and sighs "man I'm starving"

"Hmm, well I think there is some type of cafe not too distant in here. Not sure though, I actually haven't eaten in days." He lets out a momentary chortle, actually recognizing how feeble he felt from the absence of food and water.

"I can't remember the last time I ate to be honest" he laughs and rubs his stomach "food doesn't taste the same since I became a weaver...I just hope pizza isn't ruined for me" he looks up at the ceiling, it looks like there is a tear in his eye and he whispers "pizza..."

He lets out hurried laugh before he catches his breath, "Well, don't be shocked when you see how sucky the food is here."
