Blank gave her a stare that was... Well..... Blank. "You would do well to keep your hands to yourself." Hr muttered softly.

As Goodrich walked, he thought it best to ask some of the questions now. As the clanging of his heavy metal plate filled the tile hallways of homebase, he turned his glassy blue visor to Revnoir, who was a few paces behind. Stephen being a few paces behind the man leading them to the transports.


"So, are you just logistics or do you work with boots on the ground?"


His inquiry was polite enough, seeming to be small talk before he asks the serious questions.

Revnoir looked up at the armored individual and said, "both." (I'm standing in for umbra due to a situation irl)

 

[SSgt Goodrich]

"Both? Well, that is pleasant to hear. I find that armchair generals are often too ignorant of battlefield conditions to warrant effective leadership. That is why I stopped at Staff Sergeant--so I can stay on the 11-Bravo."


Goodrich smiled under his visor, seeing that the man finally lead them to their transports. He stopped to spin on his heel to face Revnoir, who was silently tracked by the rest of the squad.


"Arrange yourselves and board the transports. Drivers, I want a staggered column, 10 meter spread. Keep all eyes everywhere, we don't want to find ourselves in trouble."

Revnoir suddenly grew silent, and he seemed a bit distracted. Nothing out of the ordinary for the 'slightly' unstable Squad Leader. Just lost in thought. His expression was blank, and he looked as if he were in his own world. He knew what others were saying, and he was listening, but it looked like he was just too tired of something to care about anything going on. He had changed so quickly.

Russell was sitting down on the training room floor was sweat dripped down his face. He wiped his face with his white T-shirt causing it to become soaked in sweat. He took the T-shirt off throwing by his jacket. Russell was left shirtless, sitting on the floor covered in sweat. What time is it? He said as he looks at his wrist as if he had a watch on. Whatever, I wonder if they got showers here. Russell got up grabbing his jacket and sweaty shirt and left the training rooms, walking down the hall. @Anyone

Xillia, when turning a corner, ended up bumping straight into Felix. Due to her somewhat short figure, her face collided with his chest (cue mortal combat x-ray scene) causing her to fall to the ground. She looked up, wide-eyed. "Sorry...!" She moved to get up only a moment after falling.

"uhh no It's ok" Felix replied before she gets up "are you in a hurry?" he asked the girl who bumped into him.

"A-A little... Just have to get some documents from the Medical Wing and deliver them to someone." She dusted off her clothing, staring up at the man with an apologetic look on her face. "Again, I'm sorry. It was my fault, I shouldn't be running around corners."

Felix smiled "no no it's okay" he said then he remembered what he needed to ask "so uh... I'm new around here where should I go first?" he asked and suddenly he got nervous but he tries to calm down.

"Oh, you came in late? Uh, well, you can go to the barracks, assuming you know your Squad and have all your paperwork. If not, I suggest giving the Head Office a visit to get those papers or locate your Squad Leader."

Felix didn't even know where the Head office is "uhh okay so where is the Head office?" he asked her again.

Xillia stared at the man for a long moment. "It's... Well, go down the hall thata-way until you reach the lobby, and right across from the lobby entrance is the head office. Should be on your left." She was surprised he hadn't seen the sign on the door stating exactly what it was when he came in.

Blank came up behind the two, listing to their conversation.

"hmm okay thanks" Felix thanked the girl and before he was about to go "ah my name is Felix nice to meet ya" he introduced himself.

She gave him a smile. "I'm Xillia, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She said before darting off to grab that paperwork. She hadn't even noticed Blank behind her.

Felix smiled "I hope we meet again in the future Xillia" he said to her and then he noticed Blank "uhhh hi?" he didn't noticed him until now and stares at him.

Felix gave him a smile and waved back so how am I supposed to talk with this guy he thought.

The military-esque commands brought a puzzled look to Leah's face for a moment, but she decided simply to follow whatever lead Revnoir and the self-appointed commander set. Inwardly, she was a bit hungry for violence, but she at the same time surpress it. Mission number one wouldn't be a good place during which to lose her composure.


Her face was set in a hard and determined expression, a dangerously calm look that could have slit the throats of their targets from afar if looks were lethal. At the same time, she was nervously biting her tongue; Leah had a strong aversion to the idea of traitors, but didn't want to get carried away with....


She avoided the subsequent thought by cracking her knuckles loudly.

"yeah I might get used to it soon" Felix replied to Blank "anyway nice to meet you if you listened to our conversation that means you already knew my name".

"Indeed..... I am blank.... Another squad leader." Blank said calmly. One seemed to always have to strain to hear him.

"then nice to meet you Blank" Felix said he remembered that he needed to go to the Head office to get his paper work "so I hope we meet each other soon I need to go to the Head office and get my paperwork have a nice day" he said as bowed quickly and hurriedly walked to the head office.
