"Yeah it's no problem sir." Ryan scratched his head sheepishly. He then jabbed a thumb in the training room "I just checked that place out. Some people were going really wild in there sir. Oh, and there's someone conscious in the medbay. Now I'm just returning to my squad office."

It had been a bit of time since Revnoir and Scourge had stopped sparring, and both were now leaving the medical wing. They both had small bracelets that seemed to be tracking their heartbeats. They didn't look like they were very comfortable, rather, the opposite. They looked like they were aching. Revnoir's claws looked longer, but someone would only notice that if they were looking for that detail. Scourge was the same, his fingers seeming slightly longer than before he walked into the med bay. They went their separate ways, Revnoir heading off to nap in his office while Scourge left to... Well, do whatever Scourge does in his free time. Probably sip coffee and think about where he's gonna get more coffee.

Aces walking up to the entrance, calmly looking around himself for anyone but none to see. He was told to come to this place for the recruitment, he felt a bit late to the party, but nonetheless, he entered the building with a whistle of a cardinal, to make himself feel a bit more safe, walking through corridors of steel.

Ryan detected a new presence in the base but quickly deduced that it was not hostile. He decided to go for a check just to be sure and saw a new person looking around. He grinned and ran up to the person "Hey there, you. Here for the first time also?"

Ryan's sensor picked up another presence whom he recognized to be Alice since he was already familiar with her presence. He turned around and jabbed a thumb at the new person "Newbie here, aye. Make sure to greet him warmly."

Ryan raised an eyebrow, wary of her behavior. That obviously fake smile was giving him the creeps but he dared not voice his thoughts aloud.

Jack was a little excited as he approached the place he was summoned to. Leaving his home was probably one of the hardest things he would ever have to do, but maybe here he could make a difference. He drew in a deep breath as he made his way into the building and looked around, adjusting the position of the medium sized duffle bag draped over his shoulder.

Ryan stopped midway in his quarrel with Alice when someone opened the front door and entered. The guy had a duffel bag with him so he figured he must be a newcomer. He grinned broadly and waved at him "Oi! Are you here for the first time? The name is Ryan Winterborne, newbie in Squad 7!"

Upon being greeted Jack extended his right hand to shake hands with Ryan, nodding his head to answer Ryan's question.


" Yes, this'll be my first day sir. I'm Jack Tegan, rank two squad seven recruit. It's nice to meet you."

Aces now in the presence of three new people, probably recruits at best, he bowed slightly and said with with a low tone, "Hello...." He kept silent for a response.

After the greeting with Ryan Jack turned to face the one who bowed to greet him as well, respectfully bowing his head to return the gesture from Aces.

He raised his head back up and stood at the ready, shifting his duffel bag to his other shoulder.


"Do you know if there is a place that I can put my bag? The barracks maybe?"


He asked as he looked around the area, hoping to spot a sign or something to give him some directions.

"I see, well I suppose we could either stay put and wait for a superior officer or wander around aimlessly until we finwhere we need to be. This place can't be that big."


Jack spoke softly as he passed by Aces, taking the first corridor he came across hoping for the best. If his memory served him well and if this place was set up like most military installations then the barracks should be close to the mess hall, now if only he could find the mess hall.

Seeing that Aces was coming with Jack smiled and continued to walk down the corridor hoping to come across the barracks, if there were any to be found. "So, what squad are you in?" Jack glanced over to ask Aces as they walked. "i'm in squad seven from what I know."

After checking the training room and seeing that no one was there,John went to his squad room and fell asleep.hoping to be woken up if somthing happened.(he will sleep until someone enters his squad room or interacts with him for now.)

Just outside the walls, Reapers were bustling about, letting out the occasional screech or growl as they moved around. Despite their aggressive noise, they seemed quite relaxed. A couple of them were making their way through the small crowd, nd some were exchanging what looked to be... Coffee mugs. Each of them took sips of the coffee, and they shared the caffeinated drink amongst each other. There was a Noble passing around the coffee, and Grunts and Elites screeching contently. It was somewhat a strange sight for recruits, but Reapers often shared coffee if they found any. Now, how they made the coffee is a mystery in it's own.

"Empty is right, I guess everyone else is out on missions." Jack continued down the hall until he came across what he figured was a training room judging by the equipment laying around and how open it was. "Well at least we know we can get a workout if we need to." He set his bag down for a moment and unzipped it, pulling out a journal and writing something down in it concerning the ocation of the training room."Not sure if you heard what I said to Ryan, but I'm in squad seven." Jack packed his journal back up and retrieved his bag before setting off again.
