Fantasy Reaper: Reboot

Reira returned the kiss, still not believing Jeeves was friendly but she couldn't do anything about him. She smiled to Aaron. "Make sure to come back alive. You can come back in pieces, but you must be alive." She said before running inside and to the medbay where Chisaki was.

He yells after her "I wasn't planning on dying today anyway!" He laughs as he lifts his sword and waits for an attack

Reira ran to the medbay and to Chisaki, hugging her sister tightly. Chisaki was slightly surprised but returned the hug. They both continued to treat injured in the medbay, Reira hoping that Aaron wouldn't get injured or die.

 

[Umbra Regalia]

The reaper outside grew silent, and as all the guards outside were dead, it lumbered off. It spoke, but it's words were indecipherable. It was mumbling. As it left, Jeeves visibly relaxed, although it still glanced around cautiously.

Reira was kind of sluggish as she helped the injured. She was thinking about the reaper and Aaron. She was worried.


(Going to go away for an hours or so I think. Our dog needs to get out on a walk.)

Aaron sighs with relief and looks at Jeeves "hey there buddy...what are you doing here? This isn't a place for a reaper like you" he smiles at Jeeves and chuckles seriously, why is this reaper friendly and what does it want?

Jeeves stared at Aaron before writing on the wall with its Threads, similar to what Revnoir did to speak while using Hysteria. It read, 'I'm not here to hurt anyone. I don't want to kill. I'm trying to hide from the Wraiths.' No details on why hide or what Wraiths are. It kept it's glowing eyes on the Weaver.

Cam had managed to make his way to the roof without anyone noticing, and watched silently as the Reaper stumbled away. His eyes then slowly trailed down to the dead guards below. "Damn..." He quietly muttered to himself as he turned and began to walk towards the door on the roof.

'Wraiths are Reapers like me, but much stronger. I can't say much else about them, since they're quite mysterious even to us.' He then got rid of the words once everyone read it and started over. 'I'll leave, thank you for keeping an open mind and not attacking me.' With that, the words disappeared and it ghosted off down the hall towards the back exit as if it knew where it was. It didn't. It would get lost. Jeeves would wander the halls for a bit, surely, before finding the door and slipping off back into the wasteland.

As the odd Reaper continued to walk away, it somehow triggered a flashback in Cam's head. But something was wrong. He remembered everything. As the vision ended, Cam was frozen in his place, his mind unable to comprehend what happened back at BR. From what he could recall, they literally opened him up and put some type of machine in his chest. It seemed to embrace his core, as if it was protecting it. The machine inside of him also had some odd contraptions which he couldn't understand. After the vision, the only thing he could do was to slowly lift his hand. He simply willed it to happen, and small Fire Threads sparked from the tip of his fingers. "Son of a bitch..." He quietly mutters to himself as he opens the door, eventually making his way downstairs just as the little Reaper left. for some reason, he didn't want to say what happened, so he just asked his original question, "What was that thing?" He says as he looks mainly at Revnoir.

Cam sighs, "I know... What a Reaper is Asilia. Just didn't know that they had a conscious and a moral." He mutters a bit harshly.

"Then you know how they are made?" Asilia askes, softer now. She couldn't stay mad at cam. She moved to him and held him, glad he was there for her.

Cam personally didn't know much about Reapers. He was thrown into this whole war almost against his will. Most of his anger having drifted away, Cam slowly shakes head, "I didn't know that they were 'made' actually. Just thought that the came from space or something." He says with a chuckle.

"Oh..." Cam mutters a bit sadly. "Is there anyway to change them back?" He asks as if he was a clueless child.
