Fantasy Reaper: Reboot

Aura was passing by and herd Rev and Xillia's conversation. "All valade points.... But that was quite rude of you to say under my roof." Aura said aiming a pointed thread at the back of both of their necks as he approached from behind them.

Asilia looked up at cam. "Um...." She started, unable to find anything to say.

Becoming impatient, Cam simply reached his right arm out, gripping her neck gently and pulling her close, kissing her directly on the lips.

Aaron stands up as he hears a noise "I swear to fucking god, if that's a wolf I'm gonna kill it, skin it and turn it into a rug" Aaron stays completely still and closes his eyes, his hearing now doing all the work

Revnoir glared at the white haired man, not exactly liking having Threads ready to cut through his neck at any given moment. Not that it would kill him, everyone knows Cores aren't in the throat.

On the other hand, Xillia was freaking the fuck out and internally crying and screaming all at once.

After her 'small' mental breakdown, Leah had barely managed to retreat to some empty barracks-- any barracks-- to hide.

A long while later, she carefully bandaged up her bruised and slightly bloodied arms with a solemn expression, then hid the gauze beneath a long-sleeved sweater. What could almost be considered a song was dancing through her head.

Distraction, diversion, deviation, variation, aberration, alteration... Alteration...?

A moment later, she gave up on her poetry of sorts in favor of leaving the barracks. Once she had, she realized she had fled to... Squad one? Oops. If she could recall correctly, squad one had been slaughtered, and they had been what was more or less the elite of Weave. Eerie.

As she wandered the hallways, she watched corner after corner and found them to be blatantly empty, almost abandoned looking. Where was everybody?

Slowly, she found the office of the closest thing to the Head of Weave to be found, the office of Squad three's leader. Revnoir... was that his name? She thought so. Leah carefully nudged open the door with her foot, expecting someone irritated from lack of coffee. Instead, she was greeted with silence, so she stepped in. Her eyes flickered over the room, taking in the tiniest details over the greater ones. She carefully picked her way across the floor to the computer that sat, lifeless-looking, and prodded the mouse with one finger.

Aaron takes a deep breath as he grabs a kunai, his threads wrapping around it "four legs and it's circling me. Definitely a wolf, or a bear" Aaron throws the kunai and waits to hear an animal cry as he hears a thud

Rogue, the AI, noticed someone other than Revnoir sitting at the desk and he booted up. "Unauthorized entry. Please leave immediately," was all Rogue robotically said before locking the computer at the desk. Obviously Revnoir didn't want anyone poking around on his computer.

Other than her eyes moving to scan the ceiling at the sound of noise, Leah didn't move. She waited one more moment before she straightened her posture from bending over the desk to inspect it. There was no person, obviously. The voice sounded artificial and false. Spotting nothing on the ceiling, as was the stereotypical place for someone to look upon hearing a voice that could be paired with no body, she simply gave a few blinks.

'What if I don't want to?' It was a rather childish question, and Leah knew that. She was only sharing her thoughts to whatever automation this was though, and she didn't mind in the least. As far as she knew, robots couldn't form opinions about whomever they were speaking to.

"Then an official will be contacted and you will be escorted out of the room." Rogue wasn't playing around with this girl. He hadn't had something to do in a long time, so this small job meant a lot to him. He wouldn't mess this up.

Aaron stands in complete silence for a few seconds before a pack of wolves jump out from cover behind the trees "aw shit" he draws his sword and spins, watching each wolf as he does so

What if, what if, what if? Leah gave a giggle. The words rang in her head like a song, a song that meant fun, jokesome fun, irritating laughter, a poetic dance of uselessly occupational speculation. She began to rock back and forth on her heels like a small child about to partake in an aggravating game. A smile was creeping its way up onto her face.

'What if... and what if there's nobody in the building?'

"Then it will be asked that an able Weaver return to base and deal with the issue."

A wolf launches itself at Aaron who narrowly dodges it, he throws a kunai and hits it in the side. The wolf snarls appearing more angry than injured, Aaron tightened his grip on the sword "I'm not relying on threads this time". Another wolf pounces and this time Aaron is ready for it, he side steps and swings his sword upwards, slicing the wolf's throat. The pack becomes more aggressive and Aaron cracks his neck "one down...about ten more to go"

Hm... that was a tough one to counter. Ah, wait, but she didn't want to counter it, Leah's thoughts re-railed. A game of verbal chess, was this? Well, she didn't want to take the king in this one, her checkmate would come to a different arrangement of the board. It came to her realization that she would have to then bid farewell to her precious What if.

'But! But where would that weaver be coming from?' Where has everyone gone, her thoughts reworded. This base was annoyingly empty. Where had they all gone? Where were the people to be found?

Rogue wasted no time in responding. "The closest Weaver would be alerted, but seeing as there are officials standing by in the base that won't be necessary. Now. Will you leave on your own or do I need to send assistance?" (brb for a little ^^" sry)

Aaron spins his sword around and takes out another wolf as it jumps at him, this time throwing a kunai through its heart. He takes a breath and as he does a wolf collides with him and knocks him to the ground and goes for his throat, Aaron uses his arm to try and push the wolf away and it instead bites through his arm, he yells in pain but eventually flings the wolf away, his arm now dripping in dark red blood. Aaron picks up his sword and spin kicks another wolf away

Leah's face fell, and her small bubble of anticipation and motion was broken into stillness. Blunt robotics. At this rate, the only assistance she expected she'd need was in getting this thing to tell her where everyone went. Fight fire with fire, must she? Ah, alright then, she'd forfeit the intricate little puzzle the had ready to play onto the board.

'I won't need assistance if you tell me where that nearest weaver is.'

Her voice dropped from its song-like, amused tone to a dull, factual drone. Each syllable was a thud in her mouth instead of a chime.

[/QUOTE] Asilia froze, shoked by this action. She did not struggle, and eventually relaxed and melted into the kiss, wrapping her arms around him.
Aura's gaze whent from Revnoir to...... His wife? Wtf? He became so confused his threads fell harmlessly to his sides.

Cam eventually pulls away slowly, now looking into her eyes, "So was that the reason?" He says with a smirk.

Aaron begins to tire from the dodging, these wolves meant business and the loss of blood was making him light headed, it had become a game to the wolves and Aaron didn't enjoy being a play thing, he threw a kunai which hit a wolf between the eyes and then swung his sword hitting another in the leg, injuring the animal. At this point there were around eight wolves left "I just wanted peace and quiet, some solitude away from everything you mutts"

An flaming arrow shot near Aaron and the wolves scattered as sergoths silloet could be seen leaving the area.

Asilia was left breathless. She held close to him and burried her head into his shoulder. "Hate you...... So much..... Had to be right..... Cocky ass hole......" She muttered.

"Yep, that's me." He says as he laughs.

Aaron looks at the silhouette and runs after it, his bleeding arm hanging limp and leaving a trail of blood "hey whoever you are wait up, I need to thank you"

Goodrich shook his head and folded his arms, taking his usual confident stance as he breathed in deeply and replied.

"No, I don't need anything. I am just looking for some company."

Stephen glanced toward the door of the med-bay, his anterior hand pointing out to the same point.

"Do you know where the motley crew is? I have been stuck here with logistics and recruit training for so long, I have been dying for a little excitement."
