Reaper Academy (Actual RP)

Kinna blinked at what the man was saying but kept her mouth shut, if the guy has something to say why not say it? With a shrug of her shoulders she could definitely see that since she had turned the heater on that the students were getting hotter with the heat and some were becoming more slower, this caused her to frown.

"Tch! These kids seriously don't have that much endurance do they? Anyways, after I give them a break and have them run another 20 laps then I'll them over to ya'... so you a drinker?" Kinna asked him as she grabbed the vodka bottle and took a few chugs before putting it down beside her, even though she shouldn't drink during classes it didn't matter to Kinna; when she's completely drunk she can definitely be a much better fighter then usual but it takes a bit for vodka or tequila to get her to a drunk stage.

"I'm a soldier," Brant said, taking a swig from his canteen, "Those words are synonymous" the man stopped to look at the children, "LET'S GO, LET'S GO, PICK UP THE PACE YOU WORTHLESS SLABS OF FLESH!" Brant then said to Kinna "Vengeance is a sin, but my drill sergeant was an ass, so this feels good."

(Hang on, I'll be back in a bit, have to rush out)

Evangeline glared at the window from where the shout emitted and she fought back the urge to yell something back. She knew better, even though she had ran an extra ten laps since there was nothing better to do. She sighed, her comment had gotten her some unwanted attention from a group of boys. She ignored the bullies, something she was good at, and kept running. She was tired but, like before, her frustrations kept her running; she was constantly blowing off steam. This all better be damned worth it, she grumbled to herself as she kept moving forward.

I Walked over to my mop bucked and cleaned up the mess, Boss man Did his job so now I do mine started to clean up the mess left by the Damn thing thrashing around. After that i decided to see the new recruits in the Gym, I started walking around to the stairs and then down to the gym I spoke as I walked into the Large room. "How's it going Kinna, Any problem's this year so far?" I spotted a few strangler's "This new fangled technology is making the new recruits have no such endurance, Back in my day..." I tailed off remembering the past and smiled

Grimm looked out the window of his office and starred out into the city that attached itself to the academy in order to keep the students busy. With a sigh he stood up and walked to the job board with a bundle of papers in hand. He began tacking the papers to the board under year one through four plus and once he was done stood back to check his work. Just to be clear every job had "Get approved by Headmaster!" painted over it in big red text and would immediately combust if someone tried to take it off campus without his seal. Under the first years was as usual nothing but assisting in the guiding of souls. Most of the jobs were for places of current wars as the agents in those areas were swamped and needed the back up to keep too many wayward souls from being born. Those jobs were recommended for strong year one students but due to the heavy supervision by a field reaper, it shouldn't be an issue.

"Oi! Everyone who is finished with their laps, come over here meet your next teacher! If any of you have anything to ask or say to me then... it may be a bit difficult to find me," Kinna shouted at the class before standing up and taking her bottle of vodka, turning the air conditioner back on she walked outside of the classroom and began to walk toward the teacher's room so she could get a couple of drinks in; being sober was to much of a pain for her when she remembered what happened when she had been alive... she preferred to be drunk and not feel anything.

With a shrug she took gulps on her way to the room, a solemn look formed on her face as she began to remember the horrible training her father had put her through, she remembered the bruises and wounds that she had gained. If... if I hadn't been the successor of the family business, I wonder if things would've been better, if the relationship our family had would've been stronger then just duty.

"What the hell am I thinking about now?" Kinna laughed to herself as she entered the room and didn't hesitate to start her own one person party.

Grimm had just noticed Kinna headed into the teachers room as he walked back to his own room. He sighed and once he reached his room another loud bell sound resonated through the school as he began to speak another announcement. "The job board is now up. Remember that if you want to take a job take one for your correct year and have it approved by me. Without my seal of approval on the job paper it will combust upon leaving the campus, and you will be stopped at the gate to earth to check if you have a paper. Of course if you desire to simply visit loved ones in heaven or visit a heavenly city because you are board of the shops that we offer you must simply ask a teacher for a heavens pass. That is all." Once he was finished Grimm looked out the window and wondered if it would be worth while to visit heaven and buy himself a bigger mug.

"We arrived here a bit late." A boy said as he looked up. His pale hands moving from his pocket in front of his face. Placing the tips of his finger on his forehead as the wind brushed his bangs away toward the side. "Whose fault would that be." A younger petite voice said. A few inches below was a spitting of the image of the boy but with more assets. Her finger tip tracing the rim of her lips as she had her other arm tucked under the elbow, the hand holding on to her side. "It wasn't me." The girl had rolled her eyes as she looked up then down toward the boys feet. "I beg to differ." The boy growled before he was hush by her finger tip that was waved in to the air. "Onwards." she spouted in a queen like manner tone.

Saya was the first to take a step in to the school. Her right hand entangled with her brother who had followed after her. "Big." Saya had looked up and nodded her head before walking again, her brother looking around as if he was a five year old. "I need to go to the headmaster." Saya nodded her head as she let go of his hands. Instantly his raise in spiritual pressure rose but not to that of a dangerous degree. He had set up a wall around him, alarmed of the new area and the people that surrounded him. He had a more dark , sullen look on his face as he exited from his sister and in to the building. Saya who was only a meter away behind him with more of a grin. Griffin couldn't help but not to look back. She looked beautiful when she walked. He was stopped though when he caught her icy glare. Chills running down his spine as he looked forward.

It took him a few minutes to find the office and only seconds for him to barge in to the room. HIs hand glued to the door knob as he had a look of relief and disgust. "hello...Griffin Hajimi..the new treasurer." He had bowed his head slightly as he sniffed the room. A hand that matched a girl pushing him in with a chuckle. "Saya Hajimi ." She had bowed her head before walking in and closing the door behind her. "President of the Biology Club." She said as Griffin rearranged himself from the push and placed himself beside her. Both in unison grabbed each others hand and gave the headmaster a smile. "Juniors."

Grimm looked at the children and sighed a bit as he looked down at his empty coffee mug. "Well then welcome back Griffin and Saya, please try not to cause an incident like last years biology club did Saya." he didn't want to elaborate on the specific incident, it was, messy. He stood up and pulled two badges out from his desk to give to them. "These badges will get you into the rooms your club or council meets in without the guardians attacking you. Don't try to enter without them, and Saya, remember to give all new members a badge." He then made a motion for them to exit his office before sitting back down to lounge in his chair. As he sat back he loosened his tie and took off his jacket to get rid of some heat. "Oh and just because of your privileges you are still not allowed to take jobs above year 3."

Griffin took the badge only to shove it in to his pocket. Huffing as he moved his head away so the hair would allow his vision to be more clear. Saya had already found the couch in his office and took a seat. A chuckle escaping her mouth when he mentioned the incident last year. "They did not follow the rules but I understand." Griffin growled as he took the badge from him, and shoving Saya's into his other pocket. He waited patiently at the door but Saya would not budge. "Your stiff as always...wont let us take over jobs that are above 3 years. " Griffin watched Saya arrange herself further into the couch. "Can we go...we don't want the teachers to jump on us." Saya gave him a soft glare that would seem alarming to him. "WHen have you ever cared about the teachers. It has been to long since weve seen Grimm...well headmaster in this case. You said you would come visit us but you didn't." She turned her gaze back over toward Grimm with an evil smirk. "You have to make up for it, I wont leave until you say you will."

Kinna had grown bored of sitting in the teachers lounge drinking so she stood up and began to walk around with her bottle in her hand, boredom was evident on her face. She was beginning to just think about the tattoos she wanted to get the moment she a chance and she had definitely decided to get a dragon on her right leg, with a sigh she stopped walking and leaned against a wall in the empty hallways; she was completely bored and wondered if she should just go out and hunt a few spirits but then that would just mean she would waste a bunch of energy of spirits who weren't worth her time.

"I need to go to a party or something..." Kinna mumbled to herself as she continued to lean against the wall and drink.

While the many prospective Reapers were currently attending class, one of them was not. A boy dressed in all black clothing stared at the Job Board with a blank expression on his face. The only thing that wasn't black, was the blood red scarf he wore around his neck. His clothing choice didn't exactly give off a peppy vibe.

Mortem continued to stare at the prospective jobs, looking over their descriptions. He was currently in need of funds at the moment and completing these jobs was a good way to accumulate some. While he would rather not engage in them, he still needed money. It was odd how even in death, problems with currency still existed.

After a few more moments of staring, Mortem raised his hand to take one of the jobs listed. However, he didn't stop there. He took another paper and then another. The process continued, until he had a massive stack of papers balanced on one hand. He hadn't just taken one job, he had taken all of them, even the ones that weren't in his year.

He walked with the massive stack in hand and headed towards the Headmaster's office. While doing what he did would be considered absurd and jut plain crazy, he had no doubts that he could complete them all. After all he possessed satisfactory abilities. Even amongst the dead, he could be considered unique.

As he made it to the door, he stopped and knocked three times. After knocking, he walked in with the massive stack. He nonchalantly approached the desk and placed the stack on the polished wood, a loud thud sounding throughout the room.

Grimm looked up at the student lugging in the pile of papers. It didn't take him long to recognize that this particular student had brought every single job off the board to his desk. "My first question is what year are you, and my second is to ask if you understand how jobs work around here." He tried to keep calm but it wasn't exactly a quick task to put all those jobs up. "I refuse to give you more than one of those jobs, and if the one you chose does not match your year, I will have you removed from my office and put in detention with Ms. Kinna, and trust me both you and her will not enjoy that." Grimm was under enough stress as it was and had at this point completely removed his tie and vest and was simply sitting in his dress pants shoes and shirt,

"...And that, maggots, is why Napoleon may have been a good leader, but tactically retarded." Mr. Colbe finished, taking a swig from his canteen. He figured that after the grueling warm-up, he should give the children a break and teach some history about his subject first... plus it was the same boring lecture he got first day of BT. "Any questions?" he asked looking around the room with a clear 'say no or you're dead again' look on his face. "Good, now: POP QUIZ! Why do you never want the high ground in modern combat?"

Evangeline walked briskly to her next class; combat tactics. It was about time Ms. Kinna released them, she had already went fifteen laps over. The plus side was that she got out of that class early, which was good because some of the students were still giving her dirty looks. She was glad to be out of there and reunited with her trusty cheer jacket. The small blonde girl walked confidently into the room and sat in the front as the rest of the students filed in. She fixed up her hair into her neat pony tail and waited. The teacher, Mr Colbe started teaching in this loud booming voice she only heard her grandfather use at the sporting events she would cheer at, or when he was training her. She missed him and remembered what the head master has said on the announcements. If students can visit loved ones in heaven, could they possibly visit the loved ones they left behind on Earth? She made a mental note to ask the head master about that soon.

"Pop quiz! Why do you never want the high ground in modern combat?"

Evangeline was exhausted after all that running but was still the first one to raise her hand, "You never want the high ground in modern combat because you are easily spotted by the enemy and any possible drones or aircraft they have flying above can easily see you."

She paused then added, "But depending on your skill and the circumstances, one could get behind the enemy and take them by surprise. Granted one has a sniper if they are a great distance above or if they aren't too far up and prefer knives like I do they can preform a silent areal attack."

Brant was surprised that one of his students actually had prior knowledge on the subject, then again, this girl could have been eighty when she died, so it was a little less shocking, but nevertheless he was astonished and said "Well, someone is learning from my lessons, and a bit more than that, it seems... recruit!" he exclaimed "What is your name?" He walked over to her desk and loomed over her as he asked the question, lowering his voice to a terrifying hiss that still carried the booming weight that it always did. His blue eyes narrowed on hers, using a common tactic in BT; breaking.

Evangeline smirked, and as politely as she could, she responded, "My grandfather taught me basic training, sir. I am no stranger to interrogation."

However, out of respect, she hopped up into military role call stance and in a strong voice she projected, "Sir, my name is Evangeline Whise, sir! I was seventeen years of age sir! Always ready for duty sir!"

Evangeline could feel the stares on her, but she didn't care, she was used to it. She liked it.

Kinna groaned when the bottle of vodka was empty, she was completely bored out of her mind since she had decided to do her tattoo tonight instead of right away.

"Might as well go pay a visit to Grimm," Kinna shrugged her shoulders as she made her way over to Grimm's office with her hands held out as if keeping balance on a rope, when she reached his office she entered with a giant grin on her face.

"I've grown bored Grimm! I shall keep you company for a moment," Kinna spoke as she put the empty bottle in the trash can and leaned against the wall, her eyes looked around the office.

"Maybe I should draw a picture of you or something... you know? For decoration," Kinna offered and looked at Grimm.

History wasn't my thing, nor was there ever a chance to learn much of it but I didn't pay much attention too There lesson I unfortunately had another question on my mind Why in the hell was that monster up here and what did it want to gain from such a task. I however could be over thinking For i'm not really the one to think of why rogue souls do what it is they do, Hell i was just the janitor after all So I decided to go see the boss man and see if there was any work to be done.

I walked up too the door, And knocked And waited for an answer to enter... Kinda sounded like some business was being done there so i had a seat outside his office. and waited

"A smart Alec, huh? No stranger to interrogation? Then I suppose you would know what to do if I were to say, I don't know... DROP AND GIVE ME FIFTY, SOLDIER!" at a few snickers from the rest of the class, he added "Everyone" in a very polite and passive aggressive tone, "Do I make myself clear? Or do I have to spell it out for all of you: you are not to disrespect me, or any of your classmates, this is your squad, you are to learn their every strength, their every weakness, their every like and dislike until you can all move as a unit and keep each other alive!" having shouted every word, the man was tired and sat back at his desk to watch the children perform their respective push-ups. "Damn rookies," he muttered under his breath.

Evangeline's grey eyes glazed over, she was just being honest, and she even thought she was being respectful by showing off her military style training. Then again her sarcastic tone and honest tongue does tend get her in trouble most of the time. Now she was sure that she made even more enemies. If she didn't care so much about learning she would have cared that she wasn't very liked but she took it like a champ. Evangeline dropped to the floor in and instant and started pumping them out with hardly any effort. Ten, twenty, thirty, fourty, fifty. She looked up at the teacher as she did five extra, ten, fifteen, etc.

If this was what war was like, she was absolutely thrilled.

Grimm was still in the middle of being mad at the student who had brought all the jobs when Kinna came in and he heard a knock on his door. He snapped and the door opened slowly to let in Damien. "Oh good Damien I was just about to call you, this student has brought every single job from the job board and I believe he either wants to annoy me or take all of them. Please help the boy decide on a single job and rearrange the rest of the jobs back on the board. Oh and after I've maybe signed off on the job he has chosen he is going to be assigned to detention with Kinna." Grimm knew that Kinna hated having students for detention, it meant she had to stay at work just that much longer and had to keep sober for another hour. This was why he gave her detention duties because then she was much crueler to the student and the lesson was almost certainly beaten into their little skulls. "I hope you don't mind of course." He smiled directly at Kinna with a sort of, I'm your boss so it doesn't matter grin and then sat back in his chair triumphantly.

I sighed, Well if it wasn't a damn mess to clean up... it was a mess anyway's, "Really, All of the job's?" I looked at the stack of paper's and whistled "You must have a death wish, Could work you're self too..." I trailed off i didn't exactly know what happened to a reaper when he died but I doubt if it was pleasant. "Well anyway's bucko let's get some This settled out some time..." I tapped my chin "over lunch Sound good?" I walked out the door, and motioned to fallow

Kinna narrowed her eyes at Grimm, she couldn't stand having to watch a bunch of brats in detention, that just meant she had to wait even longer to do her tattoo and there weren't any drinks she had stashed in the detention room since there were new students.

Without a simple warning Kinna walked over to Grimm and grabbed his cheeks, she stretched them harshly with a scowl on her face.

"Why do I always have to watch the brats for detention? Why can't Brant do it?" Kinna asked him with a narrow of her eyes.

Mortem stared blankly at the man and listened to his questions. Honestly, he couldn't remember what year he was in. Everything sort of blurred together, especially after skipping grades. All he knew was that he got a different schedule now and then.

He listened to the Headmaster and raised a brow. He meant to assign detention without prior information? He hadn't said a word yet and everything the man said was based on assumption. Giving a person detention for placing papers on a desk want very logical.

"Your logic is flawed." He spoke in his constant flat tone, staring right at the Headmaster. He wasn't insulting the man, he was busy speaking his mind.

He picked up one paper and separated it fun the rest. It was for escorting a weak soul, quite the downgrade from every job in the board. With that he walked out the door, planning on coming back when called.

He listened to the other man's comment about a death wish, before leaving. "We're already dead."
