Fantasy Reaper 3: Final March

Sabrin whispered to the bird, giving instructions and commands for it to do. He was not crazy, nor insane for that matter, in fact he understood the speech of animals, feel their feelings and emotions, knowing their intention and purpose regardless.

Minutes passed, the bird nodded and flew off, understanding what Sabrin said like he was a fellow bird of the same flock. Sabrin grinned, pulling out multiple smoke grenades, pulling the pins out, and tossing them in different parts of the forest, engulfing it with thick smoke.

'My scouts have been set. My camouflage has been prepared. Now time to play the waiting game..' Sabrin rushed into the thick smoke, weaons readied, blending in with mother nature.

Watching from above, Amelia saw as her opponent clouded most of the forest floor in the smoke of several small bombs, then race into the cloud.

She would be able to wait until the smoke cleared. She could probably even hide here until he began to freeze, then she could find him and strike. Or retire to the little castle thing and pick out a new victim. Or she could follow and finish this with an exciting bang. Hm...

Amelia lowered herself by a few branches, until she was but a few feet above the surface of the cloud of smoke that hung like grey fog. She'd perhaps try and find him by sound as much as she could, first... No reason to sit in the smoke, waiting. Eventually, she was able to find his general location, but the annoying cloud hid exactly where he hid.

After a few more moments of thought, Amelia took the ends of her scarf that still fluttered in the light breeze and tied it a few more times, now covering her eyes. If she leaped into a smoke-obscured fight, she might as well keep herself from wasting time trying to make out nonexistent shapes. Not that she was an excellent blind fighter, but it would help keep her from instinctively pausing to look for her enemy.

Testing the smoke carefully with a few breaths to ensure that it wasn't some kind of noxious gas, the blue assassin leaped from her tree, mace in hand, and landed in the snow with one small moment of the sound of crunching ice. She now made no other sound or move, and foggy breath that could give her away was caught by the scarf that was stretched over her mouth.

Alas! Sabrin's little bird friend has come back without having too much trouble at all. The bird landed on Sabrin's shoulder, perching itself comfortably.

"
So, did ya bring yer allies with ya my little friend?" Sabrin asked giving the little bird a cracker for its troubles. The bird did not respond, but instead kept eating the craker. "Come on now, where yer aliases at?" He asked once more, a little agitated.

A time passed as Sabrin waited for his calvary to arrive, feeding the bird on his shoulder fistful of crackers, and minutes went on and he got more than what he asked for. Flocks of birds swooped downed and flew in circles around Sabrin like a tornado of feathers, blowing the smoke that engulfed him and his current sorroundings away before perching themselves on his body like a tree branch.

"
Finally. Now, listen closely, find someone for me, and I will reward all of you greatly. Female, blue clothing, armed. Go now and find her.." He commanded in a slight whisper, and in an instant the birds flew off and dispersed into the forest, searching for their target.

((Sabrin the Birdman, Tali-Hoe!))

(Is... that even realistic..? O.o )

Suddenly, a cacophony assaulted her. A screaming noise of what sounded like... birds. Suddenly, the smoke immediately before her began to churn and blow away, though she could only tell from a change in temperature based on the sunlight. For a moment, one hand would have been visible before she leaped backward. Could never be too careful.

The spot where she had previously been would also be visible if uncovered, but all Amelia did was ready her mace in her hand and keep from making as much noise as she could. She could head where her opponent was now, almost exactly, though it was based on both his speaking and the noise of birds.

(Yeah... this font's a bit tough to read. ONTO THE FONT LIBRARY FOR A NEW ONE!!!!!)

((If you were raised by his family, you wouldn't know what's real from what's not anymore. Plus their are actually a few people in the whole world who could do that. Talking about tribal trackers. Ever watched Manhunt with Joe Lambert? .))

Sabrin knew the birds had mucked up his cover, so he went on and quietly rushed to cover, avoiding making as much noise as he could, throwing a few smoke grenades in the area whilst hiding himself in foliage of snow and leaves.

(WELP ooooookey den.... :\ But I need to sleep now.)

More noise had let Amelia track her enemy's movement, though she didn't notice or care that he tossed more smoke bombs out. Wouldn't affect her. Eventually, she had herself a few meters behind where she had last heard him, disguising her footsteps in the lingering sounds of the birds' wings fluttering overhead. With a bit of effort, she leaped forward to swing her weapon in a hind of uppercut at the back of Sabrin's head.

((Yeah me too, I'm exhausted from tryingto find meme puns))

'Ow! o_O' was the only thing Sabrin could think of as he felt a sharp pain on back of his head, he staggers a little bit, unaffected by it, but scared, thinking it was a Reaper, or worse, a frikkin Leaviathan. And with that thought on his mind, he strated hauling ass out of there, and back to base, with the birds following him like a beacon of crackers.

(Whale, I've found my new font for Amelia. It's a bit weird, though, so I need to make everything that happens in bold. ;; Still, it's legible.)

As soon as she felt her weapon connect with her opponent, Amelia had to bite back a satisfied shout. She was quite puzzled, however, when she heard what seemed to be his footsteps in the snow... Running away?

.... Coward.... Perhaps she'd find that little girl instead, maybe the child would put up more of a battle.

Still, the girl paused and pulled a bit of her scarf from over her mouth to yell with fury after Sabrin,
'The hell are you doing?! I'm not finished killing you yet!' With that, she readjusted her grip on her mace and gave chase after her target.

Lufferia walks around inside the fortress and looks at her watch "hmm better find my brother then".
As Eve was done with Aroria, she walked over to Vayne at Günther's bed and leaned at him. She wrapped her arms around and looked up at it.

Günther had gotten up and climbed back into the bed to sulk.

Vayne smiled looking at Eve "so how is Aroria?" he asked her.

"She should be fine. She fell and hurt herself but she should look no different once done she heals." Eve said with a chuckle and stood up on her toes to kiss Vayne.

Vayne kissed her back "so is Gunther going to be okay?" he asked Eve worried about Gunther.

'LEVIATHAN!' Sabrin yelled to the person who asked, whoever it was. Hauling ass back base at quick speed. He didn't bother to even look at the person chasing behind, nor would he ever look back at that point on.

His options were a sliver, run back and probably bring a scout with him, or turn around and face his opponent bravely.. And get wrecked.

Xillia stopped singing when she heard the sound of a fight nearby. Ghost quickly reacted, Threads ready to attack anyone nearby. "Stay close, Mrs., we don't know if they're from Abel's base or not." Ghost spoke in his broken voice, but oddly quietly. Who knew Reapers could be quiet?

(EDIT TIME!!!)

Pulling her scarf from her face as she neared the edge on the smokescreen, Amelia responded to the terrified cry. 'Why the heck would a reaper care to come here? None of you can put up half a good fight!'

Envy had made her way outside to wait for the other girl, though she wasn't impatient. She still busied herself with her mind, decoding her own thoughts. With practice, it was becoming easier by the hour, surprisingly. She was pacing lazily around the inner wall of the huge stone structure.

"I don't know." Eve said, sounding worried. She had no idea if he would recover without help and she was unsure if anyone would even want to help him or if he wanted the help.

Ghost let out a quiet growl as he itched to tear Amelia limb from limb for insulting him. Xillia quickly grasped his arm to hold him back, but Ghost ended up pulling away from her and darting towards the girl. His Threads grabbed her by the leg and flipped her onto her back. Xillia was hidden, but not Ghost anymore. He towered over Amelia's collapsed form, growling loudly.

(I'm just going to casually slide in here until I know what the heck is going on.)

Espen woke up panting terribly. She couldn't see. It was so dark and it was impossible to see. What was this? A void. Putting her hand to her chest, she tried to calm down.

Vayne sighed and thinks it will be the best way to give him his time alone for now "we'll just give him some time alone for now".

A small tear of dread dripped from Sabrin's eye as he heard the growl. As much as he feared Reapers, he was no scrub to let anyone die without pissing him off first, or him killing them first. He stoped and turned around immediately, readying his katana to attack the entity. His eyes were closed as he didn't want to face his opponent when he charged at it.

(She was insulting the weavers! xD )

The girl gave a gasp as she was suddenly jerked backwards, her weapon flying from her hand. Suddenly, a huge Wraith took up the whole of her vision, giving a sound that to her sounded like gravel being ground into sand. The heck?! A Wraith, attacking her? She
lived alongside the beasts for hell's sake! Nevertheless, she knew the thing could behead her with a single sweep of its claw. Subconsciously, she retaliated to the growl with her own irritated snarl.

Ghost opened his mouth slightly as Threads started to regroup. His gaze snapped to Sabrin as the Threads were numerous enough for what he planned. He let out what seemed to be a pitch black laser from his jaws aimed straight at the man.

Espen clenched her teeth, beginning to taste bile in her mouth. She hadn't eaten anything recently so luckily when she vomited there was little to be cleaned up. Still, she couldn't see. It's okay, she repeated to herself. You just had a bad dream.
