Fantasy Reaper 3: Final March

When Aura held her up by her collar, Leah began laughing again, her feet just brushing the snow.

'Something was missing!' She cried, her fingers, now black-threaded claws, dug into Aura's wrists, bloodying them, 'It was blood!' She sounded absolutely cheerful.

"Take your hands off of her!" Yato said seriously. He grabbed Aura by the throat, making him lose grip on Leah. He shot a scowling glare at Aura. Even if he was higher rank than he was he would still fight against him. However, he also grabbed Leah's wrist, twisting it to make her grip loose off of Aura's arm.

Aura's threads flung yato away and wrapped around Leah's throat. His new threads would not be broken, even by another sins threads. "Why did you betray us Leah?! You killed so many you once called friend!"

"Aura Get Off Of Her! Stop!" Yato screamed. He took out Sekki and in an instant, Sekki's blade was a millimeter away from Aura's throat. He glared at Aura. He couldn't let her die. Not when he just got her.

'Y'know, at first, I only followed the rest of the sins so I could try and kill them later... I think...' Her smile widened, her voice as mad as a hatter's, 'But the blood was too much fun!' She cackled again, holding up one hand, which still bore the scar on either side from her own threads, and pulled her sleeve back further yet to reveal the old, pale scars from her teeth.

"You let the madness control you. I will not let that happen again. I will be at the sence into you untill you remember who you are and understand what you have done.... It's your fault..... Your fault....... You were not there to help save them...... You probably would have killed them yourself..... " aura's threads formed around him so that he could not be hurt by yato as he sent his fist flying into Leah's gut.

"Stop it... Stop it... I have waited 5 years... I have gone through so damn much... Fuck you all!" Yato couldn't do anything. He was being cast aside. He was useless again. Again, he had no power. So right now. All he could do was rage. Rage. Rage. Yato's open eye seemingly glowed a brighter gold than it was before. His threads thickened and overlapped. They wrapped around his main arm and spun with speed and power. He took one step back and glared at Aura with golden death. Yato lunged and with tremendous power, punched Aura's gut, able to knock Aura off balance and maybe even send him backwards.

Aura looked over at yato and jumped back. He kicked yato in the gut, sending him flying a few feet back into the snow. "Stay back! I'm not killing her! We are going to get Leah back."

"Don't put your hands on her..." Yato said, ignoring what Aura said. He will do it himself Yato won't let anyone do anything for him. If he let someone do his job for him, Yato knows it will show that he is useless afterall.

"Don't touch her..." Yato repeated. He didn't know how to properly say his feeling towards Leah to Aura. So all he could say was to keep away from Leah.

Leah doubled over, coughing up a small puddle of blood.

'And if the pain leaves no mark, it's not fun.... I'm not like the other sins, my skin scars...' She pulled her sleeve back farther to reveal several more pale ruptures in her skin, along her wrist and arms, all committed within the five long years spent in Abel's base.

'But it doesn't stop! It won't stop it!'

The conflict in her mind resurfaced, and her face slowly was swept blank and she stilled.

'Let him kill you. Relief is at hand.'

'There are other ways to help.'

'He wants to kill you. They want you dead. You do too.'

'You're losing it again.'

'The help you sought is failing. There's nothing more to do.'

'Wasn't it said that even if the Weavers kill you, you'd still find relief?'

'It was. You are lost, you've lost your mind. All you have left to lose if your life.'

'Who's to say that it's not worth it? After all, we'd go away too.'

'Sometimes to survive, you must kill yourself.'

'Stop, stop, we'd stop.'

'We would be hushed with your death.'

'If you were dead, you'd have no time to enjoy the silence.'

'The only battles of yours would be the ones swimming in blood.'

'...'

'You wouldn't have to worry about hurting anyone. You couldn't worry, ever again'

A crack resounded among the crumbling buildings as she snapped the rabbit's neck

'... Chains. Chains would keep you from hurting people.'

'Threads... Threads are what made you go wrong... Your core is your problem. Solve the problem!'

'...'

By now, Leah was staring up to the sky, her lips quietly speaking each word, pleading with the clouds. One hand was balled into a fist, held over her chest, her core, and the other was clutched around her wrist. Slowly, from her first hand, black threads slowly came to form a thin, long dagger.

Aura grabbed Leah and hugged her close. He whispered in his ear. "Follow my voice Leah. I will guide you. Do not let the madness control you. Control it..... Make it your weapon."

Yato spotted the dagger formed by Leah. And based by Leah's personality, he knew what was going to happen. He took a straight dash at Leah. He shoved Aura away. He tackled Leah immediately. He held down Leah's arm which held the dagger. "Snap out of it Leah!"

'But they said they'd stop... They always say they'll stop, but they're a plague....'

Leah freed one shaking arm and placed the tip of the dagger at the base of her skull, sliding it into her head. Each damn time, it wouldn't make them stop. Unless she destroyed her core, it would not end them.

She pulled the bloodied knife back out of her skull.

'It doesn't make them stop..! That should make them stop!'

"If she is not led out of the madness she will die. You cannot save her. If you will not exept my help then you can watch her die slowly or kill her yourself."

"Choose wisely. I have no time for games. I have people to kill you know......." Aura's voice chilled.

With one swift motion Yato disarmed Leah. He moved his face close to Leah's. Yato kissed Leah deeply. The same kiss that saved her 5 years ago. It connected Yato's consciousness to hers. Mentally Yato searched for the corruption. Through the kiss.

Leah shook her head rather violently.

'They're saying that they'll stop if I die...'

Suddenly, she was kept from speaking. She flinched a little, not expecting that.

But she didn't trust them, that they'd go away if she died. She didn't think they'd keep their word. Death would not silence them. She wanted them to stop, but they wouldn't. They couldn't....

She realized then that Yato was kissing her, that's what kept her from speaking. That's who she had originally went to find to help.

Could they still help her?

She had no damn idea.

(And with that, I must sleep!

Because tomorrow hosts the most dreadful activity of life. Ah, loathsome school~)

(Nuuuu ugh! Damn you school! When it gets good, you ruin it!) "I'm here Leah, here with you..." Yato slowly disconnected from Leah. And secretly, Yato's threads extended and reached out into the snow infront of aura, they brushed the snow, saying, " She is my Girlfriend, I'm the one to Save her".

Aura seemed sad for a moment. "Don't waste your time with love.... When you obtain it, it will only be ripped from you..... Causing more pain."

"Now if you will excuse me.... I must avenge my dead family." Aura said. Putting his hood back on and continuing on to where Weave was held up.

When Yato pulled away, Leah was quiet, shivering, cold, and mostly terrified. She didn't believe that they would leave... But... They were quieting. The two bickering voices in her mind slowly to a low, dull, indecipherable drone. They... They were slowing. Finally, after five years, those two damn voices were shutting up. Leah shut her eyes tight and a small sob, more like a squeak, escaped her. This was the calmest her mind had allowed itself to be in five freaking years... Finally.

Revnoir had eventually washed his clothes, and sat outside the worn-down building quietly. The clothes were drying overtop a fire inside, and all he could do was wait. Wait silently, giving in to his thoughts and his wandering eyes. He looked... Distant. As if he weren't really there. As if the Revnoir they had known was nothing but a mere trick of the imagination. He stared at the sky, his mind running faster than ever.

Riven, we can't save everyone. You need to understand that already. These things were made for killing, not for guarding. It was Scourge's voice. Isaac. His mind had caught on to a subject. One Revnoir had thought lost and faded.

I can't let them hurt my family!

Then you can die with your family. We don't have time, Riven, get to work already. We release them tomorrow, dammit!

Then release them on your own. I won't work on a weapon built to kill my own family. You're insane for thinking I would.

It's a shame.

His thoughts grew silent. The exchange between the two. Riven and Isaac. It was all so foggy to him, but at the same time it felt as if it had just happened. Like he had just been behind that door, peeking into a lab with black figures tied to tables all over the room. Like he had just seen what was happening, but this time he knew what those black figures were. They were the killers of mankind. Shadows. Monsters.

Reapers.

(Yaaaay! Fog daaay! I should be online for like... 7 hours (so until my mom gets home to make me work like a dog)
