Fantasy Reaper 3: Final March

She frowned at his words, leaning in so her head rested on his shoulder. "It's okay.. Tell me about them.. I want to help you, Revnoir." Kirsa responded in a whisper.

Revnoir quickly shook his head. "It's nothing, I can handle it myself..." In reality, he didn't want to talk about Xillia. The thoughts would only come back to terrorize him if he attempted to make the problem go away. Besides, he would have to forget Xillia for it to be fixed. At least, in theory.

Kirsa pulled away, taking his hand again. "You were shaking and.. I was really worried! I.. I want to be there for you, Revnoir. Please.. ?" She intertwined their hands once more, squeezing his rough hands tightly.

The Reapers spoke quietly among themselves. "That's the child..? She sure looks like him, but what if we're wrong?"

Revnoir was silent now, simply focusing on the warm her hands provided his. He subtly shook his head, showing his disapproval.

as zen paced he noticed yulier trying to crawl out into the snow again. and rushed over picking her up gently"whoa your not trying to go find aura again are you?"

She gave him a sad look but held his hand tightly. Kirsa nodded in response, silent as well. It was comforting, another's warmth.

Yulier struggled. "Asilia..! She left..!!" She yelled, trying to get away from Zen.

Revnoir stayed silent still, until he spoke quietly. "Promise me you won't die..."

"she did what?!" zen practically shouted. he ran back to the building yuille and asilia were in and sure enough she was gone. he gently sat her down"don't worry i'll go find her!" he used instant dash to speed off into the wilderness. he had a bad feeling about when he overheard asilia talking about 'bad guys' but now i was even worse.

"Huh?.." She shifted her eyes at Revnoir, her thumb rubbing the top of his hand. Kirsa thought for a moment. Everyone dies at some point, she wasn't immortal. Nevertheless, she responded. "I promise, Revnoir.."

Revnoir buried his face in her shoulder, the warmth only making him less inclined to move away. He was comfortable, despite the position they were in right now. A Squad Leader with a rookie Weaver, that was strange enough. A Squad Leader being calmed down by said rookie Weaver, even stranger. He didn't mind it either way, the comfort made sure he didn't think too much about it.

after a few seconds of instant dashing he came across asilia hitting one man with all her might though it was doing nothing. the man was accompanied by a female and another man and two reapers, wraiths by the looks of it "sims..." he whispered. he knew that if he attacked he was a dead man for sure so instead he slowly walked towards the group sliding on his gasmask on to hide his face.he would try to resolve this peacefully instead of being reckless and getting him and asilia killed though if that didn't work he had smoke bombs, tear gas, and sleeping gas prepared. he would have to run away with asilia as fast a possible in case of failure.

She leaned against him as well, taking in his warmth and returning with hers. It had been such a long time since Kirsa had felt something so nice and comforting. However didn't expect it to be pleased just from her Squad Leader's presence, she didn't give two shits though. Burying her face into his shoulder, Kirsa just wanted to stay in his arms forever. To forget this world of madness and be with this man.

(Ah, just you wait till the end of this season >uO Feels train coming in, choo choo!)

Revnoir jumped a bit in surprise when he heard the screaming of a Reaper. It was heard even from there. The two Reapers beside Celika screeched at Zen, quickly ending up between him and the scene. Their Threads were ready to rip into him at any moment.

( I don't know if I should be happy or sad. ; v ; )

She lifted her head, turning her head in that direction. "Did you hear that?.. " Kirsa turned her attention back to Revnoir as she spoke.

(NOBODY knows whether they should be happy or sad, dammit!)

Revnoir was staring in the direction the sound came from, his eyes sharp and searching. It wasn't within distance that he could see it, but that didn't keep him from readying his Threads. "A Wraith..."

he simply looked at the reapers. he could not get past them. they were much faster and sharper than normal reapers. one wrong move and he would be torn to shreds. so he did not move he simply stood...watching.

( Depends on the outcome of the feels train.~ )

Kirsa froze at the response, beginning to shake at the thought of encountering one. She had only seen a Reaper up close, but never a Wraith. Her hair concealed her expression, but the hand which held Revnoir's was shaking violently. Memories of the attack on her home were flowing into her mind. Papa? Mama? Her whole body was shaking. The sounds of them screaming, the entrails that scattered their once lively living room. Kirsa was reaching her breaking point.

Revnoir felt Kirsa's hand shaking against his, and he quickly pulled her into a hug. "It'll be fine, they're too far away." He said, forcing a reassuring smile. It was his turn to help. "Besides, if it comes close enough to attack, I won't hesitate to protect you with my life. You're a squad member. I won't let you die no matter what." His whole aura had changed. He was back to his normal, slightly overprotective, kind self.

His hug reassured her. Tears had formed in her eyes but to be held by him, calmed her down. Kirsa leaned into his warmth, closing her eyes. Was she just a squad member to him? She wanted to be more.. "Am I just.. a squad member?" Kirsa whispered.

(SquadMemberZoned?) Revnoir smiled. "No, I just don't have a word to describe you." He said, ruffling her hair a bit as if nothing had happened between the two. "Why?"

( Oh god. )

".. Nothing." Kirsa responded, pulling away with a sigh. That annoyed her. She showed him a blank smile. "You.. are so weird and clueless." Her heart was racing from asking that question. He was the leader. He wouldn't think of her as anything more than a member of his squad.
