A week before school was to open after summer vacation, news hit Savannah that there was a shooting at Parker & Volt, a corporate insurance company downtown. 2 men were killed, a Security guard, Maurice Arnold, 37, married, 2 kids. The other was the gunman, Patrick Kettering, 44, divorced & remarried, 3 kids (2 from previous marriage, 2 year old from new marriage).
The shooting happened at about 10:45am on the 24th floor of the 27 floor corporate building. Kettering entered the building at approx. 9am. He was an executive in the acquisition and merger division. He was a star in the company until that morning when news broke after his death that he and another employee had been committing fraud and embezzling money from some of their wealthiest clients. The other man, Jacob Switzer, was injured and was the intended target. Switzer, 47, married, 2 kids (1 biological 1 adopted) has been taken to the hospital where he will be treated for his gunshot wound to his hip and shoulder and then taken into custody for questioning.

Rhys is an all-around pleasant guy to be around, as long as you like witty and sarcastic individuals. He loves those he can banter with and he has no time for seriousness. Despite his shallow exterior, he is a solid guy. He loves pranks, waging wars, and having a good time. To him, life is too short to waste it being angry about something. Sometimes he can be a little reckless and he doesn’t always think things through.

Rhys is determined and when he sets his mind on something, he works toward accomplishing his goal. He’s easy-going and can neglect to incorporate tact into his speech. He’s often described as bold and he isn’t afraid to make a fool out of himself. People think that he believes life is all fun and games, but he does have a serious side (it’s buried deep down, below a stack of car magazines and Cheetos).

Sometimes he’s too passionate about things that seem silly to others (like whether or not Cheetos puff are better than crunchy Cheetos). He’s the kind of guy that can talk for hours, but he classifies those he can have nitty-gritty conversations with true friends. Once you push past his “pretty boy” façade you’ll see a kind, dorky, and loving guy that supports his friends and is willing to throw the first punch if someone insults them.

Adrian tends to keep everything to himself unless asked or if he felt the need to share it with others. He is sometimes stoic towards the wrongdoings of others and wouldn't care unless he could do something about it. He isn't the kindest to people but is generally nice and friendly. Though, he is quite impulsive and is quite stubborn when it comes to his own strong beliefs and values. He also sees things black and white which made it easier for him to make his judgments but makes an exception when needed. He doesn't trust others even those that are closest to him and would always suspect that they will do something bad behind his back.

When in a bad mood, Adrian can be really cold and somewhat ignorant as he will easily complain about things that annoy him and sometimes even come off as passive-aggressive towards others around him. He might be quite impatient at times but Adrian is quite forgiving and doesn't hold a grudge unless he has a good reason to do so.

When it comes to jokes, Adrian loves to make them and laugh at it too. He is more carefree outside the workplace and loves to spend time with one or two person that he considers to be at least friends with. Though, most of the time he would rather spend his time alone and would even ghost others when he feels like it before coming back after a few months like it had never ever happened.
