You know those kids, the ones being bullied? You see them everyday. What if the bullies took it to the worst possible level and the bullied reaches their breaking point? Will you be that guardian angel to help them, or just sit and watch?


Nichole sighed pulling on her hoodie. She put her hair into a bun and grabbed her stuff."...bye im off to school..." the 16 yr old said as she walked out eating a poptart. Nichole used to be an A and B student. Until everything went down hill when the bullying started. She sneaked into the school hopping to make it before her bullies. But alas, luck was not on her side today. BAM! Nichole cried out in pain sliding down the locker.
 
Dade Henry wakes and slams his fist hard down on his ringing alarm clock.


"Uhgg. Gettin' used to this time change is such a bleedin' pain." Dade says while stretching out on his bed. He considers laying there for a while longer, and maybe even just sleeping the day away, skipping school when he hears pounding foot steps outside his door, followed by three loud knocks.


"DADE AARON HENRY! ARE YOU NOT UP YET?"


Dade's mother was obviously not going to go along with the sleeping idea, so Dade decided it was about time to start getting dressed.


"Aye, Mum. Still tucked away. Now will ya gimme a second to get my clothes on, alright?"


Dade got up and quickly got dressed, running outside just quick enough to catch the bus.
 
Nichole whimpered and they took her stuff. She limped to class and her teacher said"you're late. Go get a tardy. Also you have detention. " Nichole said"but I." "NOW!" she looked down and limped to the office and got a tardy.


She walked back and gave her the slip. Then sat at her desk. "Turn in your homework everyone. " Nichole wanted to turn hers in but her bullies stole it. "Miss kudo where is your homework? " "i-i did it I swear." "Miss kudo!" Nichole sunk into her chair tears going down her face.
 
Dade got off the bus, in front of the school, but instead of walking straight into the school, like all the other students, he decided it would be better to take stroll around the campus. If he was going to have to get used to the school, he might as well take it all in.


The school was actually quite pretty, due to it's proximity to a small meadow. Dade looked over the school's sports field into the surrounding shrubbery, watching the sunlight glint off of the morning dew... It reminded him off back home.


"Home", Dade said aloud to nobody. "I'm gonna miss that place..." Dade stood against the school, looking out over the fields for a while, but then he heard the steady CLANG of the school bell.


"Well, I best be headin' over before the ring me neck." Dade, said as he walked into the school building.


"Late again, Mr. Henry?!" The principle shouted at Dade, as he walked into his office. "I know we've let you go with a few slap on the wrists up until now, but you are going to have to learn your lesson somehow.


"Aye, we wouldn't want me to get too carried away, would we? I could get into someat' serious stuff, like crack or something." Dade said with a smirk.


"This is no laughing matter!" The principle very apparently having enough of Dade's attitude. "Detention for the rest of the month!"


Dade's smirk drops. "What? That's total bollocks!"


"Young man, if you don't respect me that'll be two months, now you best get to your class room." The principle spoke in a very definite tone of voice.


Dade let the matter rest and slinked out of the office, heading toward his classroom.
 
Nichole sighed waking down the hall. She pulled on her hood and started walking to the roof. Skipping, yet again. She hid on the roof and pulled her knees to her chest with a sigh. whats the point anymore? she thought.


Nichole sighed and looked at the scars on her wrists. It was almost time for detention to start.
 
Dade sits through class, scribbling pictures of mountains and trees from back home into his notebook, while the teacher yammers on about one thing or another.


"Uhg, detention next. What a drag... But if I don't go, Mum will have my head...", Dade thought while scribbling.


CLANG!


The school bell rings aloud, and everyone gets out of their seats, prepping for the end of the school day, except for Dade, whom is heading for his next class of the day. Detention.
 
Nichole put her hands in her pockets walking to detention. She sat in a desk with a sigh. "Phones." Nichole grumbled turning hers in then sat down. "You two will spend detention cleaning the gym!" Mr.lodigar said.


Nichole didnt say a word. She stood and walked out the door. "Miss kudo where do you think you're going? !" Nichole had grabbed her phone. "Go fk yourself." She said.


Nichole kept walking and sat behind the school with a sigh. She put in her ear buds and took out her razor.
 
Dade looks over at the girl as she begins to walk to the back of the gym.


"She seems a bit temperamental. Wonder what her deal is?" Dade thinks while watching her walk away."


Grabbing out his notebook he picks back on his drawing from where it last started.
 
Dade sits in his chair a while, the thoughts of the girl who just left the room floating in his head.


"I wonder why she left? Hmmm.... She was kinda cute, but, she seemed a bit on the moody side.... I wonder if I asked her what's going on, if she would tell me?"
 
Nichole stayed asleep and her bullies smirked seeing this as an opportunity. Nichole got grabbed and pulled to the roof her scream muffled. Nichole shook looking at the teens before her. smack!





Nichole hit the floor and gasped crawling away. "Not so fast shortie!" Nichole's eyes widened in fear.


Fade to black....


"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" her screams echoed then died off.
 
The teacher has left the Gym on some teacher's meeting, and Dade is left alone. He starts to think about home, his old room, the friends he used to have, the girls.... AHHHHHHHH!!!!


Dade's thoughts are cut short by loud scream above him. "What the hell was that?" Dade's first reaction is to run out the back door of the Gym, listening for the screaming again.
 
Dade runs up stairs to find out what the noise was, brushing past a group of guys snickering about something. Upon reaching the roof he is shocked to see a pool of blood surrounding the body of the girl he was just in detention with.


"What the Bleedin' hell happened here?", Dade exclaims as he runs over to the girls body.
 
Nichole sobbed and just wanted to die. She tried to pull up her jeans but let out a cry of pain when she moved. She gritted her teeth tears falling.
 
Dade dropped to his knees, trying not to get his arms and legs covered in the blood the was spilling out of the girl.


"Hey! What happened? Are you okay? Who did this? What should I do?" Questions vomited out of Dade's mouth, not knowing what to do about the girls situation.
 
Nichole whimpered and curled into a ball. "L-leave me alone. please dont hurt me anymore. Please dont rape me again." Her hazel eyes closed tight as she sobbed.
 
Dade, shocked at the statement, begins to spurt out his sentences. "Uh, oh, uh, no, I wouldn't, uh, rape you... I mean, that is to say-", Dade clears his throat.


"Dade, you gotta get this lass to nurse, and quick", Dade thought to himself.


"Hey, girl, lift up your arm, quick. I gotta get you to a nurse, and fast" Dade's voice suddenly more confident now that he knows what he needs to do.
 
Dade slowly lifts the girl's arm over his head, bringing his arms underneath her body, and bringing her up with him. After a few moments of steadying himself, he started to hurriedly shuffle down the stairs, hoping at least one nurse was on staff.
