STORY
Over one thousand years ago, there was a great war that nearly severed the entire universe. The Dark Empire, a villainous entity, had aspirations to syphon human emotion and convert it into negative power to energize its army. It was the brave efforts of a team of guardians, charged with protecting the world, that locked them into a war against the Dark Empire, preventing it from destroying everything in its path. The war waged on for quite some time until the guardians came to an agreement that they had to sacrifice themselves in order to rid the world of this parasitic evil. Combining their powers and energies, the guardians manage to wipe out the Dark Empire for good. With darkness no longer lurking in the shadows, peace was finally restored.What the guardians didn't expect was for the Dark Empire to eventually revive itself from the ashes, seeking to reclaim the world it once tried to conquer. A technological company, GENESIS, is wanting to tap into the power of the Morphin Grid to increase the quality of their products in order to make an immense profit. What they didn't expect was for the Dark Empire to re-enter into this dimension and cause turmoil. In an effort to try and right their wrongs after releasing a revitalized Dark Empire into the world, GENESIS has elected to create Power Morphers, utilizing the hidden power contained within five Power Crystals. The only thing to do now is to couple these morphers with five selected individuals in hopes that they are able to save the world before it's too late.
INFORMATION
Rangers is a Power Rangers RP that will focus on action, adventure and character development. In order to ensure that this happens effectively and efficiently, the roleplay will take place in episodic format, telling stories of characters individually, as a small group or the entire group. As such, characters will have an opportunity to have the spotlight on them depending on what the episode is. The roleplay itself will be mature and have elements of violence on occasion (within RPN rules). - Please respect the GM of the roleplay. I try to be fair and equal to everyone while also not compromising the integrity of the roleplay.
- This RP is not "first come, first serve" nor does it have reservations. I'm looking for a diverse group of character for this RP that I think will fit best.
- Roles are not gender specific. There can be a female Red and a male pink.
- There are no "leaders" of the team. Each character will have an opportunity to shine. The theme is for them to work together.
- This Roleplay is a casual one, so I'm not expecting posts every day. Once a week at minimum I think is fair. If you need to step away, let us know.
- Not looking for novel length posts, but two paragraphs with substances should suffice.
- Have fun! I'm looking to develop a "Ranger-Verse" with more teams in the future. This will be a long-term plot that I hope grows into something bigger!
