History: Marcus has been training for this day all of his life. He wanted to be chosen to help fight the evil. So he trained and trained his body and his mind. That was what was expected at the Grecian Military Institute. They trained and trained there student so they could win in the end of the year "Battle Royal". So Marcus always stayed after training to train more. He pushed himself because that's what people expected form him as a leader. Though he taught people as he went. The year he was able to participate in the "Battle Royal" he was picked as the leader of the group. He picked his team wisely. Then he trained him and his team even harder to finally get a win for their school. When it was time for the "Battle Royal to start Marcus's team was already at a disadvantage. One member got into a car wreak and was not able to join them. Then two of the best schools teamed up to take Grecian Military Institute out, because of what the news, and people were saying. That's when Marcus was taken form his group and thrown somewhere in the Stadium. Marcus knew he had to get back to the team, because even though the trained for this he still knew he couldn't just quite because of his position. Marcus then started to make his way back to his team by fighting through the other schools people, and using the terrain to his advantage. When he finally got back to his team they were fighting against the last team for the "Battle Royal" winner. Marcus shouted over to his team, and they started to attack harder and faster because they knew he tried to get back to help them. As soon as Marcus made it back to his team he passed out, because of how hard he had pushed himself to train for this, and to make it back to his friend and team. After his team successfully captured the win, Marcus was taken to his schools hospital, and was treated and stuff. When he woke up there was letter with his Name in gold waiting for him on the nightstand.

Being born in Moscow, Russia, Katherine saw the criminal world in Russia of the 90's. Her father, Vasiliy Kozlowsky, was the head of the most dangerous Russian mafia. His nickname was 'Rat' for his abbility to run deals fast and stay unknown. He taught her little daughter everything he knew - how to use a gun and how to manipulate people in order to get what you need. These lessons taught her to be quick and unseen no matter what . It isn't hard for her to break into a house or kill a person being as quiet as a ghost. Also since she was a little child she believed in astrology. Something attracted her in the zodiac signs, their personality, their royalty. But the most strongest zodiac sign, the Dragon, attracted her the most. Growing up she followed his personality. Sangwoo is one of the most stubborn people you'll ever meet. Based on routine and completely stuck in his ways, he has plans for himself and he's not willing to change them. He's hardheaded, and can push his point until the other stops arguing because they're tired of hearing him talk. He's plenty confident, and he walks a thin line between this confidence and arrogance. Sangwoo is very critical of his and others' work and actions. This is due to a mixture of his own high expectations and his pride. History:

Sangwoo was born into a loving family of 5 in Gwangju, South Korea on February 15th, 1997. He was the youngest child, and he was often babied and cared for in his younger years. As he grew older, his parents taught him ways to take care of himself, just as his siblings had before him. His parents were very busy, working late nights nearly everyday. His family was fairly wealthy, his father a renowned doctor and his mother a lawyer. To keep him busy, and to prepare him for the upcoming race that he'd have a chance of participating in, they enrolled him into different classes for things like language and archery, different things that they thought he'd need to work with the other candidates chosen to protect humanity. Young Sangwoo didn't mind this, and picked up the skills easily, becoming proficient at a very fast rate.


As he grew up, he continued to take these classes, but only because he enjoyed them now. He was at an age where he could take care of himself without a figure of authority around, but he kept up with it, enjoying the time he had to learn and be productive. During this time he was able to become fluent in English. He rose above the skill of his brother and sister, and caused nobody to be surprised when he received the letter to join the race. Although he had definitely made his siblings envious of him since he had been picked while being the youngest and least experienced, he became quite proud of himself after receiving the letter.

She was born in a mountain village somewhere in Northern China to a family of farmers, who worked as so for generations in 16th November 1996. When she's at the last year of elementary school, her family make it big by selling their land to the government for a highway construction. Becoming rich by selling their vast farmland, the entire family moves to Tianjin except for Ai's family, who decided to go to Beijing and built a farming company with their share of money and become even richer.


Rich, smart, and beautiful, Ai was the most popular girl in school. She enjoyed it, having so many friends that she could play with. But as she grew older, she eventually realized that these 'friends' of her only befriend her to leech off her money or to proudly say that they are her friend.

Her optimism is on one point her specialty but also her blind spot. These mistakes also lead to her incredibly lack of anxiety control. The moment something goes wrong, she goes full panic mode, where her joy fades into the back and the fear of having done something wrong kicks in. At this point, she's basically a useless, whining doll writhing, succumbed to her panic.


She also tends to lack EQ sometimes, when she accidentally takes a joke too far, or her little teasing actually digs into peoples' sides. Whenever they get offended and leave, she's confused and totally in the dark about why they left, but she'll still feel sad. No one should know that she's sad though, because that'd make them worry. The world was blessed with this beautiful being on the 27th of November, 1997, in Paris, France. The youngest of 3 and the only girl, she grew up in a sheltered life, knowing only about the blessings that life has brought her, not of war, crime and whatnot in the outside world. As she grew older, starting school and watching her brothers go through hormonal rage puberty, she gradually learnt of the other side of life; the one people lament about. She found out about the violence and the negativity, and discovered she felt uncomfortable. I mean, who isn't, right? But her level of discomfort kept rising, and she found it difficult to do anything without finding the bad parts of everything she saw.


It was here on she vowed to become optimistic, to become the light of everyone's lives in her own, bright, sparkly, cheerful way. But in return, she traded away her own feelings, her own light. But that was okay for her, because she was helping others, right? She started making videos about stupid things, and people enjoyed them, and she liked that, so she kept doing what she was doing.


This lightbulb that was brought into creation, kept shining, until one fine, beautiful day, the morning of her graduation, actually, one of her brothers went missing. She found out as she was getting ready, and completely broke down in the toilet. By the time she'd sort of cooled off and freshened up her makeup, she found one of her friends crying over her lost hamster. At that moment, she wanted to give her friend a slap across the face- why didn't anyone think about her sometimes? Why were they all so selfish?- But she dropped to her knees, her arms around her classmate, forcing out a pitying smile, whispering gentle words as she patted her on the back.


She received her graduation certificate an hour later, biting back tears as she saw her other brother in the audience, receiving the big, fat, brown envelope from the grinning principal who gave her a hearty pat on the shoulder before gesturing for the next student. When she'd opened it in the seats provided, however, it wasn't just the certificate inside it. There was another envelope inside, which looked fancier than she'd have thought of the school with her name printed in gleaming gold. "Scholarship, maybe?" she mused to herself as she opened it, skimming it quickly. Her brown eyes widened as she took in the information, smiling genuinely for the first time that day.

Personality:


Accuracy and prior knowledge and experience are key to every decision Kimiko makes. Her every movement, every action every word is thought out in her head using her quick thinking, as she knows that most things have consequences, and to her, walking out on the streets alone is already a huge risk. I mean, what if a brick drops on her head while she's walking next to an under construction building? But despite all this, Kimiko wouldn't consider herself paranoid as she does know how much to plan on a certain subject before doing it... So you wouldn't see her standing in the middle of the street contemplating if she should take a next step. Kimiko is also very charismatic, able to charm her way into your brain and heart, be careful though, Kimiko won't stick around for too long as she has some trouble committing to one person at a time.


All the good traits aside, Kimiko has her flaws too. Such as her overconfidence... Which seems to be the main factor that drives people nuts. She's just way too narcissistic and thinks too highly of herself, she'd always think she right and refuses to accept other people's opinions. Kimiko has a very low level of patience too, always pestering others about when this will happen, or when that will launch again. These flaws of hers make her gaming buddies go bonkers sometimes, since no one wants a competitive and narrow minded person on their team. Kimiko also has this problem of not being able to relate to others' emotions, only really finding her own feelings important, making her a good friend if you just want to have a good time but a bad one if you need some strong moral backing.


History:


Born to two young teens who didn't know what they were doing, Kimiko was shipped off to the orphanage after she was brought into the world, not knowing who her real parents even were. She was adopted soon enough, though her adopted parents were never actually all that caring for her, instead just using her to feel like they had responsibility and to dictate how her life went. Though Kimiko never really bothered about her adopted parents, they were always trying to push her towards extra lessons and topping the class. They were the typical naggy parents, and honestly Kimiko really did question if she was only adopted so they had a child they could show off.


But as Kimiko grew up, her parents stopped pushing her as hard, seeing as how she stopped eating and sleeping due to some depression issues. Kimiko soon turned to the world of online gaming,her first game being an MMORPG, which she enjoyed thoroughly. Soon, Kimiko grew a small obsession in the world of video games and strived to be like the pros, attempting to play just like they did, and from this, soon learnt how to develop her own play style. Soon after, Kimiko moved out of her parents' place and was quite lost for a bit. She soon found about a streaming network called Twitch and decided to start streaming, which has now gotten her to where she is now... A job as a streamer. She's had a fairly normal life... Lian has lived a quiet and simple life with her family. She's shared a room with her younger sister and lived under the same roof with her parents. She never held an actual conversation with her parents due to their careers. Lian was the quiet sibling and wasn't very social. She wasn't your definition of your typical teenager either. She usually sat in her room, re-reading The Great Gatsby for the millionth time and soft piano music playing in the background. Unlike some other teenagers, sneaking out and partying. She has never experienced her own romance, neither in her novels. She has read about them, but never understood the reasoning behind it. Despite her lack of knowledge on romance, she's heard of the horrible things it could do to people, so she decided to stay away from it as much as possible. That's why most of the guys were heartbroken because of her rejections. She usually stayed away from romance novels, and yet she still does. Her sister was the more outgoing one and the trouble maker. Her sister was the one who was getting yelled at, every other Sunday night for sneaking out. And Lian was the one sitting in her room, ignoring the ruckus and solving her Rubik's Cube for the sixth time in a row. She's been living her life like this for nearly her entire life. She's never stepped out into the world and had "fun".

  Marcus has a natural calming aura about him, the way he just walks into a room and smiles. Growing up different, Marcus decided not to be bitter about his condition but to strive to make connections in spite of it. Old beyond his years, Marcus believes that honesty opens all doors and that nothing can't be solved without a good talk. He is a man of few words and open ears, but the rich tones of his voice make others listen when he does choose to speak up. There is a certain sense of authority around him, that when Marcus thinks you're being amoral you'd better listen. He can be tenacious in what he's after, but he's hardly someone to fear as what he's after is usually a nap.

He's very much a Big Easy boy, spending his days fishing up shellfish and his nights in a jazz ensemble, driving his drummer mad with his free-flow, wandering Sax style. Marcus never went to College, so he cut his chops in the underground Jazz circuit instead.

  A man of the world, Marcus likes more things than he could ever dislike. He loves the way the sun sets over the skyline of New Orleans, he loves music in most forms, he even loves standing in crowds. He loves sitting at a table a mile long and meeting strangers, something of a minor celebrity in the circles he runs in.
  
  
  What he dislikes is evil thinking. Marcus sees the world as a place that could be good, is only good when people strive to get along and help eachother out. He also hates spiders, smacking at them with his cane whenever they emerge.

  What Marcus lacks in physical, well, anything he makes up for in sharp thinking and a silver tongue. He plays music as an inherent skill, jamming along to a band on a sugar packet if he had to.   Marcus was born on the banks of the Cresent, his mother giving birth to him in Marcus's grandmother's driveway. From the very beginning, Marcus was noticeably different- Squatter, somehow, even for an infant, but his family came together and helped his Mother raise Marcus to grow up into somebody to be admired, even if he wasn't going to do much actual growing up.
  
  
  From an early age, Marcus wasn't too interested in school. He'd spend more time listening to the birds chirping and the waves dashing on the beach, coming up with little songs in his head and teetering home on stubby legs to sing them to his family. All four of his grandparents, his parents and his five brothers and sisters all lived together in the same house, though Marcus was the only Dwarf. He never felt different though, really, until his growth spurt never came.
  
  
  Marcus' trend of academic mediocrity continued through High School, the system spitting him out on account of his disorder. He wasn't bothered, though, and set about the business of making a name for himself.
  
  
  Some 18 years later, Marcus is known for being one of the best upcoming players. On top of the world on short legs, Marcus didn't open the golden envelope for awhile, his assistant throwing out since it seemed to be junk mail. It wasn't until Marcus found it in the trash around three in the morning, drunk as a drunken skunk in his underwear that he read the ornate parchment.

  Typically Alicia is a bit of a hyperactive girl. She loves making friends and helping anyone with whatever she can help with at any given point in time. She tends to act a bit young for her age, and by that she asks as many questions as humanely possible in any given timeframe, primarily due to the fact she can't understand nor read English very well.
  
  
  Due to this she can also be a bit naive, often times being tricked into doing things solely due to the fact she doesn't understand english very well.   Alicia for the most part has always been the hyperactive girl you see before you today. From the time she could walk she was always up and about doing something, anything that interested her really, however usually it was running around the house or playing with her toys. When she was 8 she got introduced to the wonderful world of Pokemon and pretty much has been playing it ever since. Due to such she knows pretty much everything there is to know about it and actively annoys her friends and classmates by telling them all about it.
  
  
  Growing up in a more rural area of Moscow she tended to explore the forests and such during the time she wasn't at school, hanging out with friends, or otherwise not doing anything special. She loved nature just as much as she did cooking or playing Pokemon. When she was 13 she entered a baking contest at school. Admittedly at the time she wasn't exactly a good cook, at all. Even still she won fifth place so that was good enough for her.
  
  
  About two months after she turned 14 she recieved the letter. At first she was a bit skeptical about even reading it or showing it to her parents, who would send a little girl such a fancy looking letter? About a month later she read the letter, which was luckily in Russian. Of course she was shocked anyone would even remotely consider such a thing, going so far as to think it was a trick.   Naomi was born to a single mother, a considerably young single mother. Yup, one of those cases. Now, unlike most kids born into a situation like that, she had a decent beginning, and a loving parent to guide her. things were good for the mother daughter duo, for the most part. They were average, and happy to be so. The little girl had friends, attended elementary and middle school like any average kid. She didn't have to worry about how her parents got along, or needing her father's approval on anything, because he simply wasn't there. That's how things remained until she started high school.
  
  
  A few weeks in to her freshmen year, her father made an appearance. For what reason, who knows. Probably something stupid. However, he took a liking to the daughter who he'd never even known he'd had before, and she to him after a looong while of warming up. Things progressed after her mother found out he'd come back, court wars were fought, and eventually a shard custody agreement was made, to which Naomi agreed. She wouldn't have to lose either of her parents, her loving mother or her new-found father. She continued to live a average life after that, switching between households and sharing time with both parent.
  
  
  Her personality had always been free spirited, stubborn, and wild, but it grew after she lost her mother to a car crash. She spent a lot of her time right after the crash gallivanting around Quebec after school, staying away from home. That's when her father helped her find boxing, and she found a way to release her pent up feelings of grief, and anger at losing her mother. She met more friends, and became even more of a social butterfly, as well as a strong pillar for her friends to lean on. Ryden is the sort of quirky, fun guy most people like to be around. He is fun-loving, and is more often happy and energetic, than not, and is often the life of the party if there is one, keeping up the active and positive feel in the room, with a bright smile and laugh. Despite his positive vibe, he isn't the greatest social man, and it quite quirky and socially awkward, yet once he is fighting or training, his brain switches onto easy communication. But, he does have a pretty good sense of humor, and tries to brighten things up through jokes and light-hearted humor. He is also very curious, and adventurous, always on the look-out for something he can explore, and actively doing so, thus gaining him a sense of wisdom of the world around him and gives him quite a bit of logical essence, yet he still has a dash of humble nature, and a perception of insecurity at points. In addition, he is very honest and can never bring himself to lie to another, unless they are a stranger and it is for their well-being. Otherwise, his obligation to himself is to tell.


However, being the Player nominated for his family, he had to switch that attitude on and off for when he trained. This basically means, being one of the chosen players could possibly make him more serious and dedicated then he currently is. Yet, all his actions are justified by a strong sense of morality that has developed throughout his life, and this includes his honesty, as mentioned earlier. Also, he enjoys the company of all animals, and cares for them as much as he would any stranger, but due to his family's heritage, he enjoys time with horses the most, and is luckily enough a very talented rider. Ryden is also an athlete from birth, but he has never really embraced this gift to it's full potential, yet somehow he still beats almost anyone at their favored sport with ease.




All in all, Ryden is a level-headed man, with a strong sense of morals and rights, and is often the one to try and liven the mood through his energetic and quirky attitude.

Sometimes, Ryden is too honest, to a fault that could put people in danger, but he cannot help it.

His morals can sometimes cloud his logical thinking, thus putting many in the face of danger.

As mentioned above, Ryden isn't a good normal socialiser, meaning he finds it difficult to communicate a lot.
