Mako waved off her classmates while clasping a hand to her mouth, coughing some more before giving a snicker and lowering her hand, "Guys, I'm not dying. It feels more like... allergies?"
She gave her best guess before sneezing, pulling her mask down a little bit before rubbing at her eyes, "Wait... was the plan just to give me the flu or something?"
That was all she could get out before the walls at their sides pretty much disintegrated. On one side an enraged Bushido, and on the other was some... cat-lady? Mako couldn't really focus on her details too much, as she was busy coughing some more as Bushido looked upon Ms. Great with barely contained rage. Or perhaps uncontrolled rage would be a better descriptor, as Mako was pretty sure he wasn't purposefully tearing up the metal around them. The... mongoose girl? seemed far more relaxed, openly taking a phone call while Bushido called for them to run. She finished her call once he stopped talking and also called for them to run using the hole she'd made... or at least one of them if her words were to be trusted.
Mako had honestly assumed she was with the villains at first, but wasn't about to turn down anything she could put between her and Ms. Great. Whether she was lying about transferring her Quirk or not, Mako was not about to go up against the former number one. And recognizing that her current sickened state made her an uneven liability, she moved quick to take Bushido up on his offer.
Well, she would've moved quickly if not for another sneeze which nearly made her lose her footing,"Ugh, got it... teach." she murmured before trying to stand tall and smile at him despite her breathing getting thrown off by her now stuffy nose "Come on-"
She paused to cough again before stumbling towards the hole he'd made, "-guys! Can't let this... chance slip away."
Whatever she was sick with, it only exacerbated her drooling problem. Soon her mask wasn't enough, and Mako could only lament at how un-cute she must've looked stumbling around sneezing and wheezing like some kind of sick old lady. She had to pause halfway to Bushido, not exactly the grand escape she'd been hoping for. Luckily, Ms. Great casually told them to leave before having her weird Plague Doctor bodyguard step in.
Mako rubbed her eyes again before watching his arms split apart, her own jaws trembling not with anticipation but with caution. She'd been in bad situations before, but that was something she was not gonna even try to get near in this state. Pulling her hood up over her head to hide the disgusting mess she'd been making of herself, Mako rose as the Doctor declared that he wouldn't let any of them near his boss.
"Not really... planning on jumping in." Mako admitted as she stumbled against a wall close to the hole Bushido had busted in through "Come on... guys... Don't wanna get... in... the way."
Her words trailed off under another series of sneezes before she stumbled behind Bushido and caught her footing. Light-headed from the sneezes, Mako braced herself on another wall before she had to take a breather which was interrupted by more coughing.
