' The one from the shop is named Wakana Haruka and the one you fought with is Katja Glinka they are both experienced magical girls though Wakana Haruka dose not seem to like me and magical girls around her have a bad tendency to end up dead , i wonder why " Kuybey said tiling his head one way then the other.

She does what Novella asks, and takes a seat on the pillow across from her, legs crossed. She gestures for Kuybey to climb onto her. She tries to hold a blank face for a few seconds, and she breaks into a wide grin. "So, you're a magical girl too?"

"Yep, I'm a magical girl. Even though I cringe at the term" Novella laughs, walking over to her kitchen and puts a kettle on her stove for some tea. "I never introduced myself. I'm Novella by the way"

(I'll just reintroduce myself since I got so far behind.)


Nagisa woke up in front of a tree at the park near the tea shop. "Wha-?" She was a little disoriented, unable to remember why she fell asleep. She remembered getting really sick, but...wait a minute! She didn't feel sick at all. "Oh now I remember...." She muttered to herself.


She slipped her soul gem out of her pocket and chanted to herself "Yoma, Yoma, I can see you, Yoma Yoma, you can't run, Yoma Yoma, I will find you, Yoma Yoma lets have fun!" With a laugh, she rolled around in the grass like a little kid. Nobody seemed to care especially since she LOOKED like a little kid

Timeskip 3 weeks:


It been a quite three weeks. Yoma battles have been slowed for yui. Yui spend most of her time during the day going to the tea shop hoping to run into one of the magical girls kyubey mentioned.

 

[Goddess Nebula]

Novella walks down the streets. Her Yoma encounters have been slim, if anything nonexistent, since she moved from her home town. "Geez, I didn't expect my encounters to be THIS low!" She mumbles to herself, adjusting her hair out of her face.

Tsuabki gave a sigh, leaning back in her chair. Her younger sisters were at a friend's for the day so she had the house to herself until their parents got home. It was so nice to have the quiet. Well, aside from the dog barking at the semi going down the road . . . "Jun!" she called out. The clicking of nails on the floor grew louder as the ball of fluff slide into her room. The Shetland Sheepdog's tale wagged in excitement. Tsubaki groaned, Jun didn't exactly live up to her name. "Give it a rest, will you?" She said scratching the dog's back. The soft sound of paws on her desk sounded behind them.

" Well do you have an answer yet Tsuabki?" Kuybey asked having addressed the girl several times in the past few weeks about making a contract with him.

 

[KageYuuki]

Tsubaki rolled her eyes as she turned to face the rabbit . . . cat . . . thing. Just what was Kyubey anyway? "Well it's not exactly an easy decision," she retorted. After all she would be risking her life fighting these things. "Besides, even if I did go and make a contract with you, it'd be nice to not immediately regret the wish afterwards."

Novella walks into a tea shop and takes a seat in the corner. She takes off her ring and summons her soul gem,before spinning it under her finger.

" I can't say i would understand why you would regret it, but you can wish for anything fighting the Yoma is a small price to pay" Kuybey said there was of course more to it but really that was the deal " Perhaps you should ask the other magical girls about their wishes " he suggested

 

[KageYuuki]

She sighed, resting her chin on her hand as she reached over and scratched Kyubey behind what looked like its ear. It was far softer than she thought it would be. "Hmmm maybe." She murmured, "How hard would another magical girl be to find?" She honestly hated the term. It just sounded . . . weird to her.

 

[Karcen]

" not to hard many cities only have one or two but this city has many, how about i make a temporary contract with you that will allow you to find them where they fight?" Kuybey suggested

Yui sits down drinking tea. When another girl walks in an sits at a table. Yui notice she playing around with a ring with a large gemstone." It can't be. that girl couldn't be a magical girl to" thinking Yui. Yui walks over to the girl. " hi can I sit with you?" Says yui.

Novella looks up and quickly grabs her soul gem. She holds it under the table and turns it back into a rig before sliding it onto her middle finger. "Sure thing" She says, putting both hands back on the table.

She tilted her head. "You can do that? How would it work?" Something else had been bugging her too. Kyubey had mentioned that the contract would make a Soul Gem. "Would that result in one of those Soul Gems you mentioned?"

 

[Karcen]

" No no to make one of those i need a full contract this is just a trick like the telepathy i am using and allow magical girls to use you get no wish and no powers should a Yoma attack you will have no way to defend yourself, but it will filter out the normal humans from the search and let you find them easier" Kuybey explained

 

[KageYuuki]

"Gotcha." After another moment of thought she nodded. "Fine, let's see if we can't track down one of these magical girls." She leaned closer to Kyubey, they were almost nose to nose. "Though sooner or later it would be great if you weren't so vague about those Soul Gems." All it would say so far was it was a source of power magical girls tapped into.

" I have a question for you. Do you care if I ask you it here?" Says yui to the girl sitting across from her.

 

[Karcen]

" Souls gems are just little devices that allow you to turn into a magical girl and take the damage your body couldn't normally handle " Kuybey said being honest about their function as his ear arm things stretched and touched Tsuabki's eyes making them glow for a second " There you go i will have to be with you however as the soul gem controls the transition between normal and slip space"

 

[KageYuuki]

"Take the damage my body couldn't handle?" She motioned for Kyubey to perch on her shoulder before she stood. "So how do they go about doing that?" She sent a quick text saying she was heading out before leaving and locking the door.

 

[Goddess Nebula]

"Depends on the question, but shoot" Novella replies, messing with her ring on her finger. She looks at the girl, trying to figure out why she sat down with her.

Kuybey jumped onto Tsuabki's shoulder " For simplicity's sake the best answer is they are magic and therefore can do so, i highly doubt any magical girl would like it if i took away their soul gem" He said

She gave a small sigh, 'Fine, fine.' She already knew Kyubey could speak telepathically. No sense in looking like you were talking to think air. 'Now where to start?"

" i would suggest the largest hospital in the town or a certain tea shop i know a few of the girls frequent, though i do not see its appeal personally if fine tea among smaller group at the home much more productive" Kuybey mused.
