A cold hearted bastard
Here's the deal. I'm going to pick one random prompt off of the inter-nettles to start this off, but then everyone who reads this is going to have to give me another prompt that I will them write, but I will add a twist to each one. Alright, let me find a prompt and this can begin.
First Prompt -- Eye Contact: Write about two people seeing each other for the first time.
...Okay...Here goes!
Katherine had lost her eyesight at the age of two and had been blind for nearly twenty-five years afterward. She remembered very vividly the day she woke up, opening her eyes to nothing. Katherine's eyesight had been getting increasingly worse, but being completely blind seemed to happen overnight. Life after that wasn't exactly hard, she'd just gotten used to her affliction. It was her normal way of life. Be that as it may, the worst part about it was never being able to see the faces of her loved ones. She's never once seen the face of her beloved friend Rachel, who she had met in her high school years. Somewhere along the way, Katherine had also gotten into a romantic relationship with a man named Clyde, of whom she'd also never seen. It was him who encouraged her to get the surgery after she had told him her story, even raising some of his own money to pay for it. At first she wasn't sure--she'd been blind for nearly her whole life, and it would take a long time to truly adjust to sight again. But it was Clyde's soft persuasion that finally urged her to go in for surgery. She remembered squeezing Clyde's hand tightly as they sat in the waiting room, feeling him give a comforting squeeze back.
The surgery had apparently been a success, but Katherine was told she could not remove the bandages over her healing eyes for a while. They stayed in the hospital for a few days while the doctors and nurses monitored her closely. At the end of the week after her surgery, the doctors said they would be removing the bandages. Slowly, she felt the bind being taken from her eyes and she slowly opened both of them. The light was bright and she blinked rapidly. It was then she saw a silhouette blocking out the light; Clyde. When everything cleared, his face came into view. She felt tears welling up in her eyes as emotion washed over her. Clyde smiled, tears already streaming down his face.
"Hello." Katherine chuckled softly. Clyde laughed as tears continued to fall down his cheeks. Suddenly, Katherine's eyes grew hands and they reached out and touched Clyde's eyes. As the eye-fingers pulled back, they brought with them Clyde's contacts. Clyde and Katherine turned to look at You and said, "Eye contact."
