Private with Sombra Arcana

(Okay.)

I woke the next morning curled tightly against Vaas. I sat up and yawned then remembered last night's events. Looking down I jerked the sheets up above my chest. I could feel my entire face heating up again. My self consciousness was all back. "Why am I always like this? How come I can't fully be comfortable with my body?" I asked myself quietly looking over at the sleeping man next to me. Sighing I placed a hand on his arm and rubbed it softly. "He's such a great guy and he loves me for me...So why can't I love myself?"

I yawned as I felt a soft caress on my arm and opened my eyes just enough to see the most beautiful woman alive on Earth. I gave her a small smile. Good morning, beautiful. I said as I gave her a small kiss on her cheek and neck. I nuzzled her neck and hugged her tighter, enough to feel her bare skin against mine. Today, we must continue towards the border with the water nation. Are you ready, love?

I smiled feeling happy to have him against me again. I wrapped my own arms around him and rested my cheek on his head that was nestled in my neck. "I'm ready when you are," I said pulling away and climbing out of the bed still holding the sheet against me as I searched for my clothes. "Uh, Vaas...where might my clothes be?" I asked turning to him.

I smiled and looked at her as I playfully squeezed her rear and kissed her back. I am ready to leave, love. I think you left them under the bed. Or well, I think they ended under the bed after the fun we had last night. I winked an eye at her and then stood up and walked over to her. I spun her and gave her a tender kiss on the lips. Changing a little bit the topic, how is your leg doing? Did the rest help you? Can you walk?

My cheeks turned a bright red at the treatment I was receiving, but I smiled. "It was quite fun wasn't it?" I said smirking after the soft kiss he'd planted on my lips. I giggled a bit and bent by the bed reaching under and pulling my clothes out from under it. "I do believe only half our night was rest. That extra exercise for my leg last night seemed to not have affected it though and it does seem better. It's still a little sore, but nothing compared to yesterday. I should be able to walk just fine," I said pulling on my blouse and pants.

I know! The extra exercise made a good work out for my muscles and back. My hand is still a little sore from yesterday, but I'll manage. I smiled at her as I dressed too. I think we're good to go out today. We should use our cowls to hide our faces from the masses and we'll be just fine. I am glad you can walk now. Although, I loved carrying you as the princess you are. The queen of my heart. I said the cheeky phrase to catch her off guard and drive a smile out.

Now dressed I pulled on my cloak then his last words made me turn hands on my hips. It was hard to keep the smile from crawling across my face. I know my entire face was red now. "Vaas, I am no princess and do you really have to say such things? You throw me off focus every time," I said trying to sound more serious than I was. I pulled my cowl over my head and walked to the door picking my bag up on the way. "Also reapply that gel it will help."

Well, you are a princess for me. I said with a smile as I walked to the counter and grabbed the gel that had the aloe. I applied it on my hand which made me feel soothing relief. I quickly dressed up and pulled the cloak over my body as well. I grabbed my bag and headed to the door. I grabbed Miki's hand and squeezed it hard, reassuring her that our trip continued today and we were one step closer to the family we wanted to build.

I smiled up at him and squeezed his hand back before letting go and walking outside. The sun was blazing high in the sky and people were moving to and fro. I stopped a few meters from the exit of town. There were four Fire Nation soldiers standing guard by the exit checking people as they left town. One held a flyer with a picture of me from when I had served among them. In it I wore a high ponytail with a metal pin shaped as the Fire Nation Emblem and I stood stiff and straight no smile on my face. I turned around and walked behind a building out of sight and motioned for Vaas to follow. I pulled my cowl off and took my hair down ruffling my long waves around my shoulders and allowing my bangs to fall to the side of my forehead. I pulled from my bag a small black square shaped stick. "It's charcoal, we use it for drawing and writing when we don't use ink," I informed Vaas as I dabbed my finger on the end resulting in a black mark. I applied it like thick eyeliner and then place a small dot below my eye replicating a mole. "Hopefully this is enough to fool them," I said wiping off my finger and sticking the charcoal back inside my bag.

I followed Miki and understood what was going on. I knew those goons from the Fire Nation would be looking for her. I saw her drag out a small piece of charcoal and draw in her face a small mole, but I didn't think that would be enough to fool them. Do you really think that would be enough to fool those guys? I said rather questioning what was going on in Miki's mind and believing she had become a little too careless.

I pushed her deeper into the darkest parts of the alley. I grabbed the shells of a coconut that I had eaten some days before in the oasis. I placed my hands deep into her blouse and on her bosom. I did feel bad for feeling her lady mounts without permission, but it was needed to place the coconuts in their place and make her bosom look bigger. I then, grabbed a bottle of blue ink, which was used in the earth nation's regional tattoos and began drawing in her arm and neck the symbols that were placed on the bodies of the field workers of my nation.

This will work now... I said with a small blush as I had just felt Miki without permission and I could really tell she was quite excited about it. Or at least, her body was.

I was quite shocked by his sudden touching and my body had reacted in ways that I wished it hadn't. After he had finished marking up my body and pushing things down my blouse I raised a hand and slapped him across the cheek. My face was beet red and I wasn't too happy. "I love you Vaas, but that does NOT give you permission to violate me!" I whispered angrily. "I appreciate you trying to help, but keep in mine next time all you have to do is suggest something rather than sticking coconuts down my damn shirt!" I was mostly frustrated that "And for your information the charcoal was all I had and I was determined to at least try something rather than just walk through there looking like the damn picture," I told him feeling my anger. I was more angry because I feared getting caught rather than at what he had done. I hadn't even thought to ask Vaas about something to help I had just took it upon myself to handle the situation the best I could by myself, because of my dumb independence.

After a few minutes I'd calmed down and was now feeling guilty for slapping him. "I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean to slap you like that...it's just what if we can't fool them? Fire Nation soldiers aren't stupid, I should know," I said worriedly glancing around the corner at the guards.

I felt the slap across my cheek and couldn't help but laugh at the reaction. It hurt a lot, but it was natural she did something like that. I didn't think of it as violating you, but it indeed felt good. I love you and your body. I said to brush off the tension that had arisen from the reaction she had and the guilt that was consuming her mind at the moment. It's okay. I deserved it. You're right, I should have asked first, but next time don't mind asking for help.

I tapped my chin for a second and realized the most obvious thing to do. Quick. Grab my arm and act as lovely dovely as possible with me. If your soldiers are as you say they are, their boss would be proud and wouldn't rely on other person and even less act lovingly in public. I smiled and laughed at the idea, but it was a gamble I was willing to make.

Around him it would seem I always blushed. After hearing his idea I placed my hands around his arm and pushed myself close against him with my head against his shoulder. "Okay then. Lets try this shall we?" I didn't object to the suggestion, because I knew he was right. My soldiers only knew me as proud and independent, there was no way in hell they would expect me to do anything like this. I pulled on his arm a bit to get him moving and started towards the exit.

Once there a guard gazed down at me suspiciously, but didn't say anything. Thinking we were safe I kept walking, but soon another guard commanded for us to stop. I stopped worriedly. He came to stand directly in front of us and stared down at me. After a few excruciatingly silent minutes he held up the flyer of me. "Have either of you seen this woman? She is a Fire Nation fugitive," he said. This man in front of me was not one of mine luckily. "No," I answered trying to speak in a higher voice than usual just in case. Another guard moved up behind him and after a minute I saw recognition spread across his face. Derek! Derek had been one of my best and most loyal soldiers. I looked at him pleadingly hoping that just maybe he still held a little loyalty to me. He gave me very slight nod that would not be easily detected by his comrades around him. "Sir I do believe it is time we let them pass. After all why waste our time with a lowly farming couple?" he said feigning venom in his voice. The other guard nodded and stepped away allowing us to go by.

I smiled at how the things unfolded. I squeezed tighter, Miki's hand and started to walked slowly out of the guards' gazes. I couldn't believe something these easy was enough to fool the fire nation soldiers. After a while of walking and when were quite away from the town I released my grip and smiled at my companion. I believe your soldiers need better training next time. I also can't believe it was this easy. I mean, we, earth nation soldiers... I mean earth nations soldiers were trained to search even under the clothing.

I chuckled and then looked up and down at Miki's body. And I would gladly search you all over again. I said with a joke intending for her to remember our frisky night at the hotel and our time at the alleyway.

I sighed relieved to be away from the guards. "Not all those soldiers were mine. The only one I recognized was the one that saved are asses. If Derek wouldn't have stepped in I was sure that other guard was going to realize who I was. It's good to see someone is still loyal to me. Also my soldiers are top notch, those other lousy oafs back there were probably trained by someone who didn't care about his responsibilities," I said feeling defensive of my own troops.

When he spoke of searching me I blushed and kissed his cheek. "I wouldn't object as long as you aren't shoving anymore more of these down my blouse," I said pulling the coconuts out from my shirt and tossing them behind me into the sand. "I'm guessing you didn't want those anymore," I said pointing with my thumb to the now discarded coconuts.

Nah. I carried them for an emergency. I was not criticising your soldiers nor your capacity as a leader. We were just lucky. I tried to break the tension between us. As I felt her kiss on my cheek I slightly blushed and stopped her for a little while and gave a tender kiss on her lips. If you're gonna kiss me, this is the right way to do it. I smiled and looked at the horizon. We had to get to the port as soon as possible

I smiled and kissed his lips softly before pulling away. "Better?" I asked. I soon noticed the sinking sun and then the look on Vaas's face. "Do we need to hurry?" I asked worriedly. He hadn't told me where our next destination was so I hadn't been aware if we needed to get there by a certain time. My smile fell as I realized running on my leg may hurt more than just walking on it.

We don't need to hurry. The port is like four days of travel from here. From there we should take a boat to the main island of the water nation, but for now, let's prepare a place to rest. I suggest inside a cave, which should be nearby. I said as I began to look around for a small cave where to hide or where I could use my powers to create a hideout from the sand and possible followers

"Okay. Over there," I said pointing to a cave just big enough to sustain them shelter for the night. It was partially hidden by tree so it was hard to see at first glance. I walked over to it and checked to make sure no critters were hiding inside. "It's safe," I informed him walking inside and sitting down on the earthy flooring of the cave.

Wait. Wait. I said before she sat down. I threw the bag inside the cave and placed our sleeping bags and some mantles on the floor. I also brought a cushion with us, so that her leg could be resting and pillows for our heads. We could use a small campfire. I can shelter it with some boulders, so that we can cook some of the food I bought back in the city. I said as I started to work on a small chimney-like structure to protect the fire from being detected.

I smiled and rolled my eyes and he laid all the items upon the floor. I stood back up and pulled kindling from the tree that stood in front of the cave. I sat down next to him holding it in my hands until he was done working on the structure that I guessed was to help keep us undetected. "Just say the magic words and I'll light em' up," I said snapping my fingers emitting a flame for dramatic effect.

As Miki said the last thing, I scratched my chin thinking really hard on what to say. I love you? You're beautiful? Baby, light my fire? Please? You're fire to my soul? I said with a huge smile on my face as I knew I was being a smartass and would probably either piss or make a smile appear on Miki's face. I just wanted us to be together and rest for the night. I wanted this to be over and a new adventure with her to begin.

I rolled my eyes, but a smile lit my features. "Just the please would have been suffice, but those are all acceptable as well," I said snapping my fingers and lighting the kindling in my hands. I lay the now flaming kindling in place and moved closer to Vaas placing a hand on his thigh. I kissed him softly on the lips before pulling away and moving to the sleeping bags where I laid down. I pulled my book from my bag and opened it up.

I smiled at Miki and sighed in bliss as she kissed my lips. I pulled some of the canned good from the bag and used the cans to cook the meat which was held inside. I also brought out the carving knife and a chunk of wood to continue sculpting as she read. I looked at the title of the book with curiosity. What are you reading? I said as I placed a hand on her thigh and squeezed it a little, just enough to feel her skin and how close she was to me.

I looked at Vaas from around the side of my book and rubbed his hand, that was placed on my thigh, softly. "The same romance novel from the other day," I told him smiling. I looked at the carving with interest and almost decided to put the book away to watch him, but decided against it being that I wanted him to be able to finish without me gawking at him the whole time. I turned my attention back to the words in my book reading them with ease and quickly becoming engrossed in the story.
