I had just landed in a clearing with Ender making sure to give him some water I slid off his back and grabbed my bow to go hunt us down a meal. I heard something in the bushes so I quickly drew an arrow and notched it. I look around as a girl stumbles out. I curse in elvish as she looks at me and Ender. I quickly dash over beside her and grab her arm pulling her with me."lle naa Tulien yassen amin Edan, lle sinta a' sai-" I say and grab a rope to tie her up.

Ava screams rather loudly as this tall ha some man towers over her with a firm grip on her arm. "Let me go!" She screams repeatedly while trying to kick and pull away from him. " Please what are you doing?!" She screamed once more while trying to pull away. But this mans grip was unbearable yet thankfully didn't hurt. She stared at the dragon in disbelief completely shocked. Her body trembled her simple blue dress showing off her curbes just right. "Please what is going on I have a family." She exclaimed at her captor.

I couldn't understand what she was saying, I didn't know Common which was the human tongue. I grab my rope and tie her up before looking to Ender."karna he` dina." I told him and he nodded lowering his head down to her level he looked at her."Calm, we will not harm you, I am Ender and that is Rhys, he doesn't understand what you are saying, you have seen me so we can't let you go." He spoke to her as I finished tying her up. I didn't want her to try and get away.

Ava couldn't comprehend what was happening. First this strange man begins tying. Her up. Then he's speaking some strange language. And worst of all the dang dragons talking. Ok Ava she thought this is obviously a dream dragons don't talk let alone exist their a myth go to sleep. Was the only thought she could think to keep herself feeling sane. "I don't want to go with you please, I won't tell anyone they'll think I'm crazy any ways, please let me go!" She pleaded staring up with big round one green one blue eyes and a small pout.

"What about the queenWill she want to hurt me?" She asked in a much more calm manner. She couldn't believe this was really happening. Oh if only her cat could see her now. She struggled to keep close to Rhys as to not fall. "So, rhys?" She asked timidly.

"I don't think she will, others have been brought to her before, most of the time they must live in the capital and never leave." Ender said and then made a snort sound like he was laughing."Rhys wont understand you, he does not speak your language, if you have anything to say I can translate for you, maybe I can even teach you how we talk. It will be a long flight back home, we are months away by walking, i estimate it will take us two weeks by air." • Ava gave an exasperated laugh. "A few weeks ok...well start teaching because me and Rhys are gonna have some words about kidnapping girls from their life and spots he chooses to land his dragon. Can't you like go invisible or fly near by or hide in a cave!?" She questioned pursing her lips. "Also do I have to be tied up the whole two weeks I mean, we're like thousands of feet up, I'm not running anywhere...." She explained with small shrug and a pout. "We could be friends much faster this way....ask him that will yah will yah will yah pleaseeeeeee." She asked looking with her multi colored eyes.

Ender snorted again a little smoke coming out his nostrils."I'm afraid i'm a bit to big for caves, when I was younger I could fit but now a days i'm much to large, my wings get in the way." I then undid the rope and slipped it into a bag."Better hold onto my saddle, Rhys will not be jumping for you if you fall."

She rubbed here rises a little and then looked down at the beautiful scenery below. "Wow!" She exclaimed breathlessly taken in the beauty of her homeland. She smiled slightly to herself thinking 'Well you were always one for an adventure! Guess we've gotten our wish' she sighed silently then wrapped her fingers tightly around a strap on the saddle. "Well just don't drop us." She stated firmly while patting the dragon with her other hand.

"I wont, i'm the most agile flier in all the dragons." Ender said as we flew higher into the air. I hold onto the girl tighter as I leaned forward. I spoke something and Ender translated for me."Lean forward, i can fly faster." Ender told her as he reached the top of his arch and he started to dive to increase his speed. "Ava." She replied shakily as she leaned forward holding Rhys tightly. "please don't drop me." She muttered as she squeezed him tightly shutting her eyes and pressing her body against his firmly. It was cold up here and scary but at the same time beautiful and inspiring. It made her want to sing and scream at the same time. This was so surreal she could hardly bring herself to trust her own eyes. "where are you from? What language are you speaking?" She asked curiously.

"Amin naa Ava, mellonamin."she repeated lightly slowing the wind to carry her whisper to his elegant pointed ears. "what did I say?" She questioned hoping to learn this new language that would mow be her homeland tounge.
