Sean smiled when someone mentioned a map. They were going to get out! He was going to live. He only wished he could rescue everyone in the facilities, but if they escaped maybe they could come back in the future and save the others. "At least now I don't have to pretend to be a green. I don't have a photographic memory or anything like that. I mean, I'm pretty smart, but other than that I am in no way a green." He chuckled quietly as they made through the basement.

When he heard a voice though, he stopped everyone and hid behind a corner. There was faint whispering coming towards them. His heart beat loudly. Was it guards? No, the guards were all busy up top in the buildings...who the hell was down there in the basement with them? More of them escaping?

Marth couldn’t believe it worked. They weren’t free yet but shit this was a good start! They were down in the basement and already Marth felt different... more alive! It was dark down here by he could tell... no he could FEEL the electricity in the air. The boy reached out, his pale green irises turning a bright shade of yellow as sparks danced around the room and found their way into the little lightbulbs that hung along the rafters of the tunnel. Hopefully all the guards were busy with the power outages upstairs.

“Well my friend. Left of right?” Marth looked between the two directions of the tunnel and tapped his foot a little before pointing to the right. “Sounds good enough!” With a confident step they took off in that direction. Walking for a few before he suddenly stopped and reached back to slap Liam on the back. “Do you hear it?!” Marths lips twisted into a childish smirk and he jumped up and down a few times. “Liam do you hear that wonderful sound?!” Marth pressed his ear up against the wall and followed the sound of running water. It was a sound that facsinated him so much so that he didn’t even notice that he was growing closer and closer to a group of voices.

“What? I- no, I just- oh.” Ryder stammered as they walked, he wasn’t a bigot, nor did he want to be seen as one. Though he supposed she was only joking, considering the smirk. “I just figured you’d be fine without it considering the fact that you nearly fried that guy back there.” Ryder used to hunt with his dad when he was small, a pistol was a lot different than a rifle but he was pretty sure he could figure his way around it if he ended up needing it.

Aurela was off and Ryder followed. He was impressed that in four days she was able to know where the entrance to the guards tunnels were... though he supposed with how much trouble she had already gotten in she was probably carted all over the facility. “Oh shit.” Ryder sighed and turned around a few times, he had been down here yes but not often enough to remember the way. “Uh yeah, but I don’t really pay attention to the turns and stuff... there’s always other people with me.”

In the distance Ryder could hear voices and his heart fell into his stomach. “Fuck.” He reached out and grabbed Aurela, pulling her with him behind a stock pile of rations that were still packed in their crates. “Just stay here for a second.” Ryder whispered, his brown eyes peering out from behind the crate as he held the both of them crunches inside the small space between the crate and wall... if guards caught them down here it wouldn’t just b taking them back to their cells and Ryder knew it... it would be much worse.

“So... neither of you guys are like blue or green then?” Devin spoke as they walked, following her sisters voice in the pitch dark. It probably wasn’t the best time for small talk but Devin talked when she got nervous. It was just a thing. Devin talked about everything and it’s mother while Damon got so quiet you would think she was mute. “That’s crazy... I’m so impressed that you hid it so well.” She sighed and ran her hand along the cool stone wall as they moved, her eyes glowing baby blue as she rearranged tiles to keep her mind and hands busy. It felt so strange using her powers like this... not in front of some fake bitch of a teacher spouting off lies about being free from her powers after hard work. It was all such bullshit.

“State wise?” Devin said suddenly, her eyes moving to look in the direction of Akira though she really couldn’t see anything. “Uh... well the teacher has her license on the wall, came from the state of Minnesota but that doesn’t mean we’re there I suppose.”

Damon kept them on the right path by keeping her hand against the cool stone wall and turning when her mind prompted her too. It was taking a lot of her mind to remember this damn blue print... it had been nearly a year ago and it was so different in the dark. It was beginning to get frustrating and the longer they walked the more and more the memory faded. “Devin hush!” Damon finally snapped , her voice a low growl as she refocused. “It’s just hard remembering this right now. It’s so weird feeling it rather than seeing it. My powers aren’t physical like yours are.”

Finally they came to one of the last tunnels, a large one that ran under red and was only one turn away from the main water line. “There... now we just follow this until we reach the next hall, it only runs left.” Damon finally let out a heavy sigh and ran a hand over her brow, wiping the sweat before removing the teen hoodie and tying it round her waist.

“I knew you weren’t a green Sean... you don’t act like us.” Cold, methodical. “But Akira... your more of a mystery than you put on eh?” The girls southern accent echoed on the walls of the tunnel but there was something else there too... “Didnyou guys hear that? It sounded like a whisper...”

"I don't know what I am." Akira smiled sadly as she looked at everyone in the dark. "I can do a lot of things. I accidentally caused the power outage, I can do blue things and green things, and I can even hear peoples thoughts...I never heard of anyone doing what I can do." It was embarrassing not knowing what all she could do. When Sean stopped them she stayed quiet and stood behind him, biting at her lip nervously.

As the guard rounded she found her eyes glowing a bright blue as she shoved him against the tunnel wall. "Run!" She looked towards her friends and the red uniform the guard was escorting. Her heart beat loudly in her ears before the lights around her flickered. He looked too young to be a guard...

Aurela hid behind the crates as Ryder did, raising her brows curiously. If they ran into another guard she could just knock him out like she did before. There were people up ahead, she could hear talking and yelling. "Now's our chance. Move." She stood up quickly and moved even faster. Her feet tapped against the ground as she made her way down the tunnel, her eyes glowing a bright red as she looked at the others. "Oh. You already got the guard. Good job, blue." She gave Akira a pat on the back before booking it town the hall. At the end of the hall was a door, and Aurela whipped the door open to reveal a large room filled with pipes. All of the pipes lead further down into a hole. In the hole she could hear running water.

"Down we go!" Aurela held her breath as she slipped into the hole. It was a tight fit, but before she knew it she was submerged in a lake of water. It was cold and it took her breath away. Quickly she swam to the surface and gasped for air, kicking in the water to keep her afloat. Hand over hand, kick after kick, she made her way to the shore. Her heart was beating loudly in her chest as she crawled onto the grass, coughing slightly. "We did it..." Nobody had ever escaped the facility, that's what the guards kept telling her.

Liam couldn't stop smiling. Even Marth was excited! They were finally free. Well, almost. And when Marth heard the water he knew they were close. "Alright, let's-" He couldn't even finish his sentence, he was interrupted by a small blue girl shoving Marth into a wall and holding him there. "Whoa! Wait why are you-" Liam blinked widely as he stared at Marth for a minute. "Oh, the outfit." He quickly turned to Akira and shook his head. "That's not a guard, that's a yellow guy like me! I promise. We just used these outfits as a rouse. You've gotta believe me-" He blinked widely as a red uniform came and went. "Wait, what?" There were more people here than he expected. Two greens, two blues, two reds, and two yellows. People from each facility making a break for it.

"Can you let him go, please? We're just trying to leave like you are." Liam smiled nervously, making the lights flicker above them. "See? We're yellows."

Sean was prepping himself mentally for a guard. He hoped it wasn't one, but he was ready if it was. He'd tackle them, disarm them, and paralyze them like the others. But Akira moved faster than he could. The guard was against the wall, the guy in red was pleading to release him and spouting some nonsense about being yellow, and then a pair of reds came booking it past them. The red guy made the lights flicker, and it made Sean relax a little. "Akira I think we can trust them for the time being. It looks like they're just trying to leave like us." He gave Akira a small shoulder squeeze before he headed towards the room at the end of the hall. "Come on guys."

He looked down at the hole in the floor and gave a hard swallow. Just jump down? Easier said than done. He was terrified of heights. "Shit." He took a couple of deep breaths before closing his eyes and jumping. The water swallowed him and he squirmed to the surface, gasping for air. The water was freezing. His body shivered as it tried to warm itself, his arms slowly moving to try to swim to the grass.

It took him a minute or two, but Sean finally found himself crawling onto the grass to shiver. "F-Fuck that's cold." His clothes were soaking wet. He quickly forgot about the cold once his eyes noticed the sun high in the sky. His lips pulled up into a smile. It had been so long since he seen the sun, let alone the grass or outside. "We're free. I can't believe it."

The twins stared at the guard and his prisoner wide eyed for a moment, each of them reaching for each other and taking the others hand. They thought they were for sure in trouble, no way out of this. They could try to fight but it may only make things worse... plus what were either of them going to do? Devin could try to hold him down or push him away sure but then what? Damon outsmarts him? Hah. It wasn't until the one with dark hair began rambling that they calmed... A yellow? How was he in red clothing. And how did the other one end up in a guards uniform? Whatever now wasn't the time.

Devin yanked on Damon's hand and hissed, "Come on let's go." They didn't need to wait around for something else to go wrong, they needed to move. She pulled her twin and followed the others to the room holding the star of their escape plan. Were they really doing this? What if it didn't lead where they thought... no it had to. Right? Well... it led somewhere and anywhere was better than here. Devin watched intently as people disappeared one by one down the pipe and her nerves moved higher and higher in her throat. "I'll go first okay?" She smiled back at Damon and let go of her hand as she moved over to the opening and peered down into the darkness. After a few moments of breathing she jumped down, the darkness enveloping her and the water hitting her unprepared nose. Finally she plunged into the freezing lake and made it to the top for air with a huge gasp. "H-Holy shit we did it! Oh my god!" Devin splashed around for a moment before finally moving to the shore and climbing up into the grass. "This is insane..." It was like she was seeing the earth for the first time. Her eyes struggled to take in everything all at once.

Damon watched nervously as her sister jumped in and went missing from her vision. Akira, Sean and Devin had all done it... it would be okay! If not well... what was she going to do? Stay here. Damon turned and looked behind her, strangers. The only people she really considered friends were on the other end of this thing. Damon swallowed hard and took a step towards the pipe... jumping wasn't the worry. It was the swimming on the other side, she was never a strong swimmer as a child and it wasn't like she got any better recently.

"Oh shit..." Damon sighed before finally dropping down and squeezing her eyes shut as the water pushed her down further and further until finally the pressure released and she was plummeting into freezing cold deep water. The girl kicked like a klutzy frog for a few moments, banging her leg against a rock or piece of metal or something before finally surfacing. "Ow!" She welped, gasping for air at the same time and moving her arms to keep afloat. "Great." She gasped, that was exactly what she needed, DNA evidence leading to where they were. "Fuck." Damon growled one last time before slowly making her way over to the shore and crawling up besides her sister and dropping down into the grass. Her sweats were ripped and a slow trickle of blood was coming from the area. It wasn't a big wound but it didnt feel great either. "Apparently I'm not cut out for the real world..." Damon chuckled as she wiped away the blood with her hand, spreading it over the ripped material to take a better look at the cut.

"Hey now!" Marth exclaimed as his back hit the wall of the tunnel with a booming sound. Liam was quick to explain the situation to the short blue girl that attacked him. Marth would have taken another approach to proving that they were yellow but that may cause more of an issue than he was willing to deal with at the moment. Right now all he wanted was to be let go and to get the hell out of here. "Yeah come on lady listen to the charming voice of my aussie friend here!" He pleaded with the girl, struggling to move his hands up to his head and push off the helmet of the guards uniform. "See!"

A blonde male came up to the girl in blue and tried to talk her out of letting him go. "Yeah listen to your boyfriend." Marth couldn't help his mouth sometimes. But it seemed his reassurance was enough to at least get her to loosen her grip on him and he was able to shimmy until he finally hit the floor. "See ya!" He saluted before booking it down the hallway, looking back and making a come here motion to Liam, "Dude come on don't wait for her to attack you too idiot."

Quickly Marth skidded into the room holding the pipes and jumped down without hesitation, he wasn't chancing getting caught, not when he was this close. The water was shocking but it wasn't the worst thing he had ever been through. When he finally resurfaced he let out a small triumphant woohoo before quickly making his way to shore and looking around at the other soaking wet prisioners. "I wouldn't enjoy the grass too long... they'll be looking soon and I'm sure this place is on their list of possible escape routes." Marth looked back at the lake to see if Liam had followed yet... just to tell the guy thanks and bye. Marth wasn't sure where he was going yet but he was sure that hanging out with a large group of fugitives wasn't the best idea for his safety.
