Name: Gethen
Age: 25
Appearance: 562291
Personalty: very kind, and generous to the common folks. With the higher ups guards royal family and such. He tends to be really short, and border line disrespectful.

History: He was just like any other kid growing up in poverty 15 years ago. Finding fun in the small things playing in trash with other kids, teasing the live stock, and finding enjoyment in the worst of it, or so he thought was the worst of it.

When he was ten his parents were taken away from him by somebody who thought killing the poor was some kind of divine calling. Most of the people in the slums were sleeping with one eye open while the city guards ignored their calls. Eventually the local blacksmith brought the murderer to his end, but that was after he had visited Gethens parents.

It wasn’t all that different after the death of his parents the killer had ‘honor’, and spared children. It was inspiring to see the community come together, and take care of those who lost everything. He grew into a honest good young man who became the apprentice of his idol who was none other then the black Smith that avenged his family. He did however remain jaded towards the royals, and the guards.

He’s recently shown a lot of growth in magical skills. He’s performed what some have called miracles, and what even the strongest mages would call impossible. It’s drawn a lot of good attention to him as well as a lot of bad.

History:
The princess was born as the second child to King Leonard and Queen Andrea. Her older sister, Aliarna, is only about a year older than her. She has had a happy upbringing, and due to her magical abilities she was required to take lessons in order to learn to control her abilities. She enjoyed many normal aspects of life though, atleast for a royal.

She took many lessons outside of her magical lessons she took lessons in horse back riding as well as typical etiquette. However, her life wasn’t typically eventful, though her parents were known for being kind to their subjects. It didn’t stop there from being poverty in their kingdom, but they tried to do what they could to try and eleviate it, but unfortunately there was only so much they could do.

The recent war with a neighboring kingdom certainly didn’t help with the poverty level either.

Gethen wiped sweat from his brow after putting down a curved blade on his work bench. A farmer he knew well had broke his last scythe trying to collect the wheat for harvest. Metal wasn’t cheap especially with the war, and it cost the farmer everything he had put up.

Gethen couldn’t do anything for the cost of the material but he could make what he paid for last longer and go further. Placing his hands palm down on the blade he mumbled some words, and the blade started to glow. “There that should do it” He nearly jumped out of his skin when Reiner spoke behind him “I’m telling you we should charge extra for that”. He chuckled a bit to assure Gethen it was a joke.

“You know the only ones who pay extra are the guards.” Reiner frowned a bit at that “ I also know you only do half as good a job for them, but it’s your gift you do what you will with it.” He handed Gethen the long wooden scythe handle.

It didn’t take long to adhere the blade to the handle. Packing it up he set out for delivery. When he reached the farm he explained that the blade would never chip or go dull. The farmer was so grateful he almost spilled over with tears, but Gethen didn’t wait around for long enough to see if he did, or not.

He wasn’t heading back to the blacksmiths he told Reiner before he left that he had business to attend to after the delivery. He walked up the busy street towards the castle his face still streaked with black from the soot from the forge.

Stepping into a quiet ally close to the castle he spoke some more magic words, and for the most part disappeared. If he bumped into anyone they would feel him, or if somebody was using a strong detection spell they might be able to find him.

Weaving cautiously through the crowd he made his way to the castles library. There was a book he needed to find. This wouldn’t be his first visit the library, and there was a book last time he caught a glance of before leaving. That he told himself he would have to look at next time.
