Realistic or Modern Power School for The Gifted

"I was thinking more like spar with our abilities." She says smiling at she stood there looking at Yuri. "I would like to see the full power of your abilities." She says judging by what he had done earlier was barely anything for him.

"Who wishes to spar with me." Charlotte repeated, obviously impatient, "C'mon, I'm waiting." She continued as she stomped her foot repeatedly. She looked at all of them with exasperation.

"I think you should be in a higher class. We're not really on the same level abilities wise." Renée ended the conversation there, rubbing her left eye, "God, I'm tired. When's this whole pathetic little "sparring" thing going to be over? Because, let's be honest, nobody even wants to spar. Except for the show offs." She glanced over. What a lot of losers. Ooh, look at me! Aren't I special? she mocked silently. She couldn't pretend that she wasn't a little bitter. Her sister- her twin!- had better powers than her. How was that fair?! Some godly force had decided that Christabel would be the powerful one out of the two of them. Ugh. (@Metaphysics)

Yuri would smiel at her and nod at her as he has only frozen his hand,"Well if you says so...lets spar"he says as he would walk a little back too gain some Distance and would say "Ok...are you sure about this?"he says kinda worrid of geting a negative effect but it wont happen only worris him

@GaspAmy (Sorry fell asleep different Time zones xD )

"I'm pretty sure." She said and smiled back at him. She always wanted a chance to show off her ability. Which was rather unusual for her usually quiet personality she had. She knew exactly what she was going to do and knew the ice could or could not have a negative effect on her abilities.

"Alright...here we go"he says as he was kinda nervius aswell as he hasent used his powers on sombody and kinda worris him but she was made of metal so it must be safe too do it and especially now wen the sun was High up,as he would take a deepbreath and would breath out a large stream of Negative tempeture and small its of ice aswell as he whanted too get a slow start not knowing how this would effect her and needed too be sure it dosent harm her in anyway

"Hmph, I'll have you know I'm S Class, Number Manipulation. And I haven't rested yet so I am quite frankly, very angry right now." She replied haughtily.

"Alright, alright. Calm down." Christabel rolled her eyes, "There is no reason to be so... Irritable. I'm Christy: S Class." She wasn't giving her ability away now. There was no reason to just tell this random stranger about it. Besides, once people knew about her ability, they seemed to find it easier to resist.

Amy smiled as she begans towards him slowly, unaffected by the negative temperature since she couldn't feel anything since she was made of metal. She picked up the pace towards him a little seeing if she couldn't make him panic at the prospect of recieving a metal fist.

It had been a long trip for Michelle, but she had finally made it.

This was it, this was the year a nerdy girl would surpass her inability to speak to others, let alone make any friends. She was cool now, and this school was bound to recognize her as the quirky, lovable girl she is.

Large grey irises glittered with excitement as they looked at the two papers in front of her: one was a map, and another holding information about her classes, dorm building, dorm room, etc.

Support Class, a confident voice repeated in her head. It had a nice ring to it. Maybe this will allow Michelle to help others and become known as the best sidekick in the world; everyone will surely be begging to have her on their team!

Michelle confidently looked ahead of her; long, silky locks of brown flowing as wind rushed against her. Her legs were crossed as she sat atop a violet cloud of harmless gas that rushed straight toward the entrance of the well known Power School for the Gifted.

After passing the gate, she uncrossed her legs and the cloud slowly surrounded her waist, softly letting her body down onto the ground before completely disappearing.

She did it! She landed on her feet instead of her face! She's definitely on the right track! Though she's never fallen off the cloud, painted lips bore an obvious victorious grin across the young girl's face, as if it were a first. Michelle then looked straight at the dorms, cautiously making her way into the buildings. This may be her year after all!

A few steps into the school, the girl realized something... It's empty! A sunken feeling hit the pit of Michelle's stomach as she realized she was clearly late on her first day. Everyone's gonna laugh at her! Quickly, her chest rose and fell in heavy breathes before suddenly stopping; the previously pale, worried face composing itself.

It's okay, Michelle thought, you can just make a fashionably late appearance, it'll be cool like those girls on t.v.! A small nod for reassurance was followed by her face bearing the same confidence it had when she entered the school. Her pace was faster, though, heading straight to what she assumed was the Support Class building holding her dorm, and a new life, within it.

Inside of the the support class dorms building stood a young male, well he wasn't so much as standing as he was crouching. See, this young man's name is James and he was squatted down in front of a door jiggling a few tools in the lock. He had heard that there'd be some new people coming to the school and he saw some things being brought into empty dorms. "damn this lock" he muttered under his breath as the process wasn't going to be as short as he'd expected. He stood placing his hand on the doorknob and began to shake it. The sleeves of his leather jacket shook hitting against the skin on his arm. James started to look around to see if anybody was watching him but it was empty. The young man had been at this school for a week and already he was known as a slight troublemaker. After seeing no one around he would lean on the wall next the door with his arms crossed. This position showed that he was 5ft 10in and had an athletic build. He liked to wear dark clothing, black jacket, black undershirt, dark jeans and black combat boots. He would wear less clothing but it sometimes got cold for him in the dorms so his attire was understandable. James would take a sigh and place his hand on the doorknob tightly and look around to make sure no one was approaching

Yuri would see her walking towards him as he would stop and rais his hand and a ice wall appears infront of him,as he would walk backwards looking at the wall and see if she gose trew it,aswell he would freez his hands too solid ice ready for anything....well what he knows,as he would raise his fist as he knew this metal Girl was going trew the wall....and made of Metal....This is gona hurt

(Sorry had too go for a long time but im back)

Half way down into the school, Michelle realized that on foot she wouldn't get to her destination faster than on Cloudie.

Lean legs bent at the knees, the wooden bottom of her black ankle boots kicking off the ground and crossing as a violet cloud appeared beneath her and softly held her body, this process took mere seconds before she rushed toward her dorm room. Just leave your things and find out where you need to go! Easy..

Trying to match a number on a sheet of paper to hundreds of numbers above doors proved to be a little bit more tedious than anticipated, still, she found her-

Why is there a guy by my dorm room...? Grey hued eyes took a quick scan of him, who was rather handsome, before looking forward, a hint of nervousness clear on her face. It was empty here as well, and it didn't take many shows for her to figure out what usually happens ne- FOCUS!

Michelle stood in front of the door; lips and brown eyebrows crunched in slight nervousness, confusion, and.. determination? Shaking hands tightly gripped the 2 sheets of paper, moving them in front of large, cautious eyes. Her head tilted up and down repeatably, from the number above the door to the number on the paper.

Nope, it was the correct number.. This boy was sadly mistaken and clearly confused. Just tell him he has the wrong dorm room and show him the paper and he'll be on his was and you'll get to see your new room! Easy..

Rough sounds came from Michelle's throat, followed by a loud gulp. Small sounds began to leave parting, quivering lips. Was that her voice?

"Th...th...t..." She cleared her throat again, louder this time.

"This..... i..isn't... your... dorm r...room... s....s...see.....?" As if rehearsed, Michelle quickly, and rather forcefully, flipped the paper over to him and held it in front of him. She was still on Cloudie, but their height level was relatively the same. She wasn't sweating and managed to do what she planned, so she was proud of herself and waited on his response, but only got more nervous by the second.

James was still looking around only to stop once he heard a girls voice coming from in front of him. He'd turn his head in that direction only to see a paper in his face. His head cocked back in surprise. He'd look passed it and see the female standing there with her arm outstretched and a nervous look on her face. His free hand grabbed for the paper to see the numbers on it. A quick glance back at the door showed that this was indeed her room. The doorknob began to glow "oh crap!" he said as he quickly took his hand away from the doorknob. He forced the paper back into the girl's hand, it was then that he realized she wasn't standing but floating on a purple cloud. The way she sat on it made her look like she was a genie on a magic carpet. "whoops" he said seemingly sincere "must've confused it with mine" he wrapped his arm around the girl and started walking to force her to walk with him away from the door and off her flying nimbus "hi, you new here? My name's James nice to meet you." His free arm stretched out in front of her to try and shake her hand. "boom." he said quietly under his breath right before the doorknob exploding causing a loud sound and wood to reach down the halls.

In the time she was scared, she went back to the dorms to shake everything off. Probably a hallucination. As she walked in, she heard a loud booming noise. Running up the stairs, going into each and every hall, she found two people talking. Maybe the boom was another hallucination. It happened from time to time. "What are you doing, you frabjous two? I don't know what I have to do!" She said in a slight sing-song voice, still rhyming even in the midst of her fear. "Do I know you? I don't think I do. Come on now, friends, is this going to end? Is this vacation a hallucination?" She skipped along towards them slightly. Ashley wasn't the best at first meetings.

A victorious grin came over Michelle's previously nervous face. This year is going great!

"I..I..ts.. o..o..k-kay.." Success! Yet another well executed response! Her arms lowered toward her legs before her usually lightly tan skin rose with goosebumps at this unknown boy's arm wrapping over her shoulders. Her calm eyes widened, her breathing beginning to quicken once again. Stay calm! The phrase blared in her head but did nothing. This day was a first of many for the strange girl. Oh god! She became insta-popular! Is this what it's like? Just like the movies!

Don't ruin this! Her heart leaped, her voice squeaked in her head. She was on the right track to becoming popular. Which type of girlfriend would sh- Stay calm!

A loud gulp went down her scratchy throat. What was he saying? The heartbeat banging at her eardrums didn't let Michelle listen very well, so she decided to take a few breaths before softly exhaling, she had successfully composed herself... Or so she thought.

Unfortunately for Michelle, her face bore a wide eyed-large toothy grin-red cheeked expression, her breaths loud with subtle wheezing in every other inhale. While the boy pulled forward, Cloudie expanded around her waist, hoisting her enough to where she was floating beside the male though he pulled at her.

Michelle's gaze faced dead straight ahead of her, avoiding eye contact, couldn't let her clear coolness be compromised. Then, suddenly, an arm appeared stretched out before her.

Crap.. What was he saying... Her head quickly reeled through memories of moments ago. Oh! His name! What's my name... Am I new I dont know.. Dammit Michelle, what's your na-!

What the girl didn't realize was that as she tried to figure out the answer, her mouth was already talking for her, her sweaty hand had already grabbed his and harshly shook. Once she caught herself, it was too late. "MICHELLE! JUST SHOWED UP! NEW! MI-!" She blurted out before clearing her throat. "M..Michelle... L..L...Li..." Nailed it.

As Michelle opened her mouth to properly answer if she was new, a loud explosion caused her body to stiffen, her hand tightly gripping James' as the rest of her body slowly, almost mechanically, turned toward the sound. M..Maybe it's someone else's. Clearly it wouldn't be her's so.. why did her gut tell her it was?

Cloudie
moved Michelle toward the source of the sound and looked at the number above the door. Silently and slowly, her arm rose with the paper with her dorm number on it tightly gripped between her moist fingers. Grey irises looked intently at both numbers. Her head slowly going up and down, comparing both numbers once again.

Yup.. No mistaking it.. This was her dorm room..

Michelle merely stood there, her face completely blank, as if she had suddenly turned into a doll.

A girl's rhyming voice entered her ear, which twitched in response, but the obliteration of her new room's door surpassed her capability of responding at the moment.

"It seems that that door is in a heap of rubble. Well, I can assure you you're in a heap of trouble!" She laughed, then pouted, walking up to her. "I can make him fix it now! Well that help you not have a cow?" She giggled at her own words. "I saw a boy here, tall and proud, and he made a noise so very loud. Perhaps I could... convince him to repair this door? I don't want any trouble, no more." Skipping left and right, her eye twitched. And then her ear. And just about every part of her face.

Then her face turned into a relaxed look, smiling sweetly. "I'm Ashley, by the way. I assume this is where you stay-" Now that she was close enough to see her face, she realized a greeting was probably not the best thing. "Sorry about that. He's as mad as a hat."

James didn't react to the explosion instead his arm fell to his side as the girl moved away from it. He took a second to turn around to look at the shock she seemed to have from looking at the door "Oh Michelle. That's a nice name." His voice was unchanged as if nothing out of the ordinary happened. His boots moved forward towards the girl, silently strolling until he was close enough to talk quietly to her. "Damn that's a shame. At least there's still some door left," he'd grab a piece of wood that was attached at the hinges and moved it as if he was opening and closing the door. "tell you what. I'll get you get some food and show you around the campus." He'd grab Michelle's hand and begin towards the lounge on the first floor. His ears would pick up a few things that the Ashley girl was saying but not much besides her name since he was too distracted by her rhyming. It was then that he decided to come up with a nickname for her "you can come too rhymely" James said, combining the words 'rhyme' and 'Ashley'. His voice carried seeing as how he was already a bit down the hallway

"Rhymley? How timely!" She nodded, following the two. "This place makes me worry. They got me here in a hurry. I controlled the mind of some guys, now they're sending me to a place where people fly!" She started to shake and then slowed down. "Luckily, it's not all bad. You two seem glad." Smiling, she caught up. "Anything I should know about? I don't want to continue to pout." Two new people. A boy who could blow things up and a girl who could do something she didn't yet know. There was an air about her, though, that gave her the implication there was something extraordinary about her. "It's all very strange, but I'm fine with change."

Dead eyes stared straight ahead as she looked at the rubble that was her door. Yet again, the girl's voice entered her ears, this time she registered some of what she had said. Ashley.. What a pr-

Who's holding my hand?
Michelle's dead expression came to life, sort of, once she realized exactly what was happening. Her eyes widened, her cheeks began to burn red followed by her head snapping toward her hand, finding it tightly held in someone else's hand, in a rather handsome boy's hand. A squeal shimmered through her head once again, and her eyes didn't part from their hands. Cloudie was still around her waist, hoisting her to hover by his side as he moved her by their hands. This was all happening so fast! And now there's another girl talking to her! This day was going better than even she had dreamed! A wide toothy grin spread across painted lips once again. "F...f...food... I...I l..like food.. heh.. Rhymley.. g..good one.." She managed to mutter out. Success!

It was all going so well she had already forgotten about the door.

Michelle slightly turned her head toward Ashley. A girl asking for her advice? Was she someone's idol already? Michelle almost drooled at the thought, but sadly didn't know what was happening herself. Gotta be polite, and leader-y, can't ruin this!

"Well..." Rough sounds erupted as she loudly cleared her throat, "I, too, just arrived, but maybe someone.... in the food court.. can tell us... No problem at all! Easy!" Her eyes closed for a small moment as she basked in how cool she just sounded. Her attention went back to their hands before staring straight in front of her, cant afford to hit a wall or something, that would suck.

Even her, Ashley "Ryhmley" Tom, cocked her head. The other girl seemed very nervous, if not sweet. "So what's your names, dear comrades? The maze-likeness is making me mad!" She laughed. Michelle seemed very kind. She ran a finger through her messy hair, grinning at the two. She walked along with them as they made their way down to the Food Court. The whole place smelled rich -- a fresh kind of rich. The aroma of mowed grass was through the air, even if the grass seemed tall. Along with that, she smelled a stench of what she could only describe as "explosives." Ash, gunpowder, and things along that line.

After some walking the three would arrive in the lounge and it'd be there that James would finally let go of Michelle's hand "well here we are!" he said his arms stretching up into the air before placing his hands on his waist proudly "What would you two like?" he asked as he made his way over to a vending machine to lean on. He faced the girls before continuing "my name's James. Nice to meet you rhymely" his arms crossed and a grin crept on his face

"Anything to consume, I assume. I could eat the street. How about some chips, please? If that's at great ease." She smiled at him, holding onto both of their hands. "I don't hate it here, you see. Apparently I'm 'not stable' and can't stay in general society. But, the thing is, I feel okay. It's a frabjous day." Those words echoed in her head. "You two seem nice. I hope I can be of good advise. If you need anything, let me know. I promise I won't put on a show."

Michelle's eyes wandered around the food court, a small line of drool leaving smiling lips.

She was excited that she didn't have to explore the campus alone, like every other school year, ever. Their hands parting went in slow motion, she almost wanted to prevent it from happening but decided that would be uncool and quickly brought her hand to her side. Her gaze went toward the both of them, noticing that both of them... were walking? Cloudie quickly dispersed, her feet gently landing on the ground beneath her; making her 5'6 height clear.

Michelle then looked at James' neck, still too shy for eye contact, and softly muttered.

"Uhm... a....any..thing is.... fine... as long as I can snack~!" The last part went flying past her lips, probably because she says that phrase enough without even having to think about it. Though she was fairly thin, she could destroy an entire buffet in seconds. Success...

Michelle's head then turned toward Rhymley, it could have been the height difference, or the aura she gave off, but for some reason, Michelle was okay with looking at her in the eyes, not in a defiant or demeaning way, rather.. comfortable. A new soft grin grew on face, "really? Unstable? Interesting.. I think we're all a little unstable here.. I kind of find comfort in that..." Slightly shaken fingers ran through long brown locks of silky straight hair. "I will surely keep that in mind!" Nailed it.

Ashley looked into her eyes, and it was an odd case due to it being actively staring. Most of the time, she would just sort of look at someone and then think of something else, typically unrelated to them in any way. Michelle, on the other hand, was different -- Ashley thought of her. She had a hard time thinking about other people in the first place.

Thinking wasn't Ashley's strong ground. While not dumb, and certainly, certainly not emotionless, words would sputter out without any common sense. She felt towards people, but not with any logic. To Michelle, she felt a weird urge to make sure she was safe. After all, she and James were the only ones she could trust. It was her job to ensure safety. A goofy grin covered her face. "It's a good day, but are you okay?"
