Name: Alexis "Lexi" Umberg

Appearance: Lexi is a young lady with a slim body. She's about 5'6" tall and weighs just over 115 pounds. She has blonde hair, brown eyes, and a nice smile.

Personality: Lexi is a tenderhearted individual, often putting others and their desires over her own. She is always looking out for others, trying to empathize what they may want or need, so that she may provide it. Lexi is known to be very polite, holding doors for others and saying sir and mam to elders. Despite that, she does have a temper that can get the best of her. While not quick to anger, she can lose her cool and allow her rage to burst out.


Backstory: Lexi was raised with her twin brother, Art. The two were as thick as thieves, remaining best friends even into middle school.The two Umbergs did everything together, partially cause they liked being together and partially because it was easier for their parents to drop them off at a single place, rather than two places. When they were 8 and thanks to Lexi, they both took ballet. When Art wanted to take tae kwon do, they were both signed up. When they were 12, they joined the same soccer team. They remained best friends through high school, despite gaining same gender friends along the way.


When an alien showed up begging Lexi to join his fight to save the galaxy, she hesitated. He had faith that she would join the cause because of her personality and entrusted the Gold morpher with her. She held onto it, not sure that she wanted to go to war at her young age. That evening while she was getting ready for bed, she mulled over the idea of telling Art what had happened. She wanted to, but she wasn't sure he'd believe her. A strange noise from her room grabbed her attention and she rushed in. She found Art, dressed as the Gold Ranger. He realized that what he'd done was wrong and gave it back to Lexi. However, from that day on, the suit seemed more suited for a man than a woman, not that Lexi really minds.


Other: Has some training in ballet, tae kwon do, and she does kick boxing (though more as an exercise regiment than a fighting style).

Name: Serenity Alabast

Personality: Serenity is a gentile soul and doesn't like to fight just for the sake of fighting but she will in defense of those she cares about. Her heart is pure and her smile bright as her nature is to help and protect, much like a guardian.


Backstory: Serenity was born to loving parents and has never wanted for anything really but when she was ten her parents were killed and she and her baby brother were sent to live with her grandfather, an old Native American shaman and undefeated boxing champion, until she would become old enough to strike out on her own. Her grandfather had seen a vision of the girl's future and saw that her destiny would be great and full of danger so he had decided then to prepare her. He didn't want her to be just a pretty face, he wanted her to be strong so he taught her how to fight his style but he also  had his friend, a kung fu master, teach her everything he could so she would be well prepared for her destiny. Now that she was nearly of age she had to start finding herself and what her destiny would be for this life.


One day her grandfather called her to go on a spiritual journey with him into the mountains. Like a good and loyal grand-daughter, she obayed and went with her grandfather into the mountains. Together they hunted and had their spiritual search within themselves. Her grandfather was given a vision of his granddaughter defending the planet from celestial visitors by taking up the mantle of the red ranger. He knew she was special but he never knew she was this special.



Serenity's journey showed her the power that lay within her and her spirit guide told her to find the item that connected with her soul and would bring out her inner strength and protect her loved ones. After that her grandfather had her training every day both physically and spiritually. She knew she was needed but ever since that trip her grades began to slip and she became a bit worried about her normal life and wondered when she could get her destiny over with and become a normal girl.


It wasn't until a large white wolf approached her with some strange red device in its mouth that she realized she was never going to be normal. She would always be what she was about to be. A power ranger. It was at the moment the device touched her hand that the aliens attacked and she transformed for the first time into the Red Ranger. This was her destiny to defend the earth.


Other: She loves her little brother and has a pet/companion wolf that is nearly always by her side.

Personality: He is stubborn, traditional, understanding, wise, spiritual and very old. All of these traits are very prominent in Alberto but he is also kind and funny on occasion. He has a very big sweet tooth and his diet consists of mostly just cakes, pies, milk, orange juice, candy bars, brownies and other sweet treats yet he is still healthy as a horse at the age of 99.


Backstory:Alberto Ramierez is an old Mescalero Apache shaman who, as a child, learned how to box and fight. Seeing his own potential when he was very young he became a golden glove boxing champion and was undefeated both in and out of the ring. After a few years of fighting for monetary gain, he soon realized he was not living up to his potential and his destiny so he became the spiritual leader of his tribe. He later had a daughter who married a white man who then had a daughter of their own who was as pale as the moon itself. He suggested the name Tł'é'na'áí meaning "moon" in their native tongue but instead the girl was named Serenity for the moon's calm beauty. He was not all that happy about it but he grew to see that the name suit her but he would still call her Tł'é'na'áí often.


Other: Being a Native American Shaman, Alberto keeps strange "pets" that he calls companions, such as wolves, eagles, jack rabbits, snakes (particularly diamond back rattle snakes), horses and even a mountain lion and a bear. The authorities don't mind because though they are wild animals they have never harmed any humans and seem quite tame when around Alberto. He teaches Serenity how to be one with them all so that she can one day, though her skin is white, take over as shaman for the tribe but with her new destiny she may not get that chance. Perhaps she could find the balance between her destiny as the red ranger and her future as the next Shaman of the tribe.

Backstory: abbie born to a middle society family had a great life. She enjoyed everything about it. Til one day she found a strange glowing crystal thing glowing blue on the ground she found it strange and cool she hid it upstairs in her jewelry box. The next week every thing around her felt well different on her way to school she hid the crystal thingy in her book bag  a creepy strange looking guy came up and asked her to join his cause she denied at first but when in the week she started to find that the crystal had strange magic.

Appearance: Mason is a young african-american adult with a light brown complexion. He's slim though retains a muscular outline. His facial features are somewhat squared and he holds light green eyes and is known to smile a bright white flash. Mason bears light brown hair has almost always radiant skin, courtesy of shea butter.

Personality:

At first sight Mason appears as somebody of solitary, calmed down, detached and free-and-easy, even apathetic. He always looks vaguely put to sleep, arrives always late to the meetings/appointments, ever finding phony excuses to justify itself. Though lazy by nature, Mason has a rare intellect that consistently allows him to prevail in combat. The responsibilities that these successes leave him with cause him frequent annoyance, but he gladly accepts them so that he may be of service to his fellow Power Rangers, and to prove himself to his allies.

Backstory:

Mason was the youngest of three children of Melvin and Natasha Reyes. He was the smallest in a house of girls (not counting his father) though his two older sisters, Vanessa and Jayden were never that "bad." The two were more like older brothers than sisters, giving Mason nuggies, purple nurples and wedgies. The Reyes family was also very athletic, Mason was the MVP on his school's basketball, volleyball and lacrosse team, a proficient athlete, and was acknowledged all around the city. Though he was so athletic, Mason was equally smart though wouldn't be the smartest. His family was very supportive of alll of his choices and as a kid up til now, he knows they'd always have his back.

Near the second year of unie, Mason came upon a mysterious device, not yet knowing it was his morpher. He'd continue to keep it in secret as well as began having dreams about being this strange orange ranger. A couple weeks after his discovery, news reports showed aliens-- the same exact ones in his dreams! He'd set out to find one of his own, though ended up being captured. It was then he used the orange ranger morpher for the first time. He'd escaped the predicament, just in time to return to his dorm and ponder about what had just happend.

Mason was then contacted by some alien who'd asked him to join what it'd dubbed "The Power  Rangers." He refused at first, thinking he was going crazy though checked out in all the psychiatric hospitals. He'd give up, returning back to the alien before becoming an official ranger.

Backstory: Valerie was a computer intern For NASA after she graduated from Harvard . As a young girl, she was teased by others due to academics and nerdy like attributes. Her parents were very strict of her afemis in which was brutally beaten for it alongside her brother dylan .Valerie was determined to put the past behind her and start a brand new chapter for herself. With not many friends nor signifigant other, valeries life was put into mostly her work. One day, one of her colleagues described alien activity and discovered a strange jewel that was kept iin a tube like containment center. Perplexed, Valerie examined the glowing crystal ( not yet knowing it was a morphed) and took it into her lab for further investigation. Red alarms began to sound off as Valerie  kept holding onto the weird gem. All of her expiramnets were exploding and were being destroyed as she seen a strange man pointing at her and saying...'it chose you" before disappearing. Valerie hurried out of her lab as the entire facility exploded into peices. The crystal to her was now a main thing to protect, and to keep a secret from everyone else until she finds out what was going on and who that strange native American man was. This only excited her thoughts aliens from the great beyond.. And how dangerous things will progress. As Valerie walked through the park back home, the strange man caught up with her once again. He explained that she was destined to be part of something greater to defeat a great evil. The man asked her to join a team in which the crystal in her hand will soon be explained .


other: Dylan Hash, Valerie's brother , went to an expedition in the Andes where he dies of hypothermia.

The bird creature is his real body


Personality: Wise but lacks knowledge of Earth Culture, he trusting and believes in the rangers that were chosen but will join the battle if he feels he has no other choice, and he is very brave


Backstory: He is from the planet Zyuohger a world that was conquered by the evil aliens. He fought against the aliens but after his wings were cut off during a battle  and he was badly injured his people knowing they can't win the war sent him away so he could heal and then find the spheres so they could stop the aliens from taking over other planets.  After escaping from his home world Ezhno spent a few years searching for the nine spheres across the galaxy and then another few years to convert their power into the universal morphing grid so their power can be used without harming the user's mind. After discovering which planet the aliens were planning to attack next  Earth he rushed over to Earth to create a team of power rangers to defeat the aliens and avenge his people that were killed by the aliens. He found finding his team was easy as the spheres glowed when the ones that are meant to use them are near by but he had trouble fitting in on the planet so he was forced to use a device to change his physical form into that of a human so he could finish gathering the team.


Other: He is highly skilled in swordplay but his injuries are why he chose not to be a ranger

Name: Aliev Lake

Appearance: Caucasian with Silky short dark hair and a side part hairstyle, he has piercing green eyes, soft facial features (baby face lol) and a slim yet toned body. Normally wears a silver colored V-neck and jeans, sometimes skinny, sometimes ripped, and a chain accessory hooked on to them which also holds his sphere. I wouldn't want him to be barefooted so I'll throw in some dark red almost violet colored high tops to keep him warm.

Personality: He's quiet though on the inside he has a lot to say, not very good at socializing which sometimes is perceived as giving the cold shoulder to everyone, but he's actually the sweetest person you'll ever meet and would do anything for the people he cares about. Aliev can be a perfectionist when he feels like he is lacking in something and is also quite flamboyant to some degree. 


 


Backstory: His father died in a car accident when he was eleven, mother, well the one that didn't leave from the get go was his grandmother. No siblings to fight with Aliev or share his pain over the tragic loss. Aliev was friendless. And no one ever rose up to claim the title though Aliev never cared. Everyone that ever got close to him would disappear anyways so why even bother with such a fickle thing. All he needed were his grandparents, but even Aliev knew they would not last him an eternity. This is a truth that weighs on him day and night. He wouldn't be a burden to them, Aliev promised himself when they open the doors for him on that very fateful night. He would study hard, get a job, and help out in any way that he can. Even though Ambrosius and Teresa Lake went out of retirement after Aliev moved in, Ambrosius went back to the electrician business while also working on rebuilding "Lake Powers" a small local business he had since the 1960's but had to close down because of the growing competition back in 2012. Teresa however barely made it out of high school and spent most of her years as a housewife after her marriage with Ambrosius but later came to find work as a cleaning lady after Aliev came to live with them. They were doing fine, but the strain from work got to them sometime and Aliev could see that. But his grandparents never acted like it affected them, they wanted Aliev to live a carefree life, find friends, and have fun like most teens his age. His grandfather, normally a very humble and tolerant man, would sometimes lose his cool when Aliev brought up the topic of looking for a job. He'd always replied the same thing "there is no need. You already do plenty around the house." Aliev never fought back when his grandfather put his foot down on something. He would just bite his tongue at the very notion of fighting back, Aliev was too grateful of his grandparents for letting him in to cause any trouble for them. After all, they were the only family he had left.


 


There were many things Aliev didn't say and it was something he'd already gotten used to. But like with all his problems, Aliev would take it up with the ice. That's right ice skating! Figure skating to be more exact. Besides his family, figure skating was his second love. Skating was something his father and him used to do before his passing, and it was some of his happiest memories, even when he did fell flat on his butt. Like most things at first, Aliev wasn't the best with skates. He would spend more time on his butt than he did on his own two feet. But as time passed he grew better at it through the encouragement of his father and uncle Joe. Uncle Joe, though not biologically his uncle, was close friends with his father and treasured Aliev like his own son. He was the reason Aliev found figure skating and is currently his coach. When Aliev became a little older he started entering competitions, his first ever competition being on his 11th birthday, sadly the same night his father passed away. He'd gotten out late from work that night and was on his way to see him when the car accident happened. Aliev never won the gold that day, but a loss of one competition was nothing compared to the loss of a father.


 


After that, Aliev took a year off from his skates and was almost a permanent retirement if it wasn't for the constant nagging/encouragement from his family. Years passed and Aliev still competes, he even made it to a few nationals at his early age. It wasn't until-until his last competition that he was visited by an alien in the locker room. (Imagine that horror story scenario lol) The alien warned him of an impending doom that would fall upon the galaxy if he and others that alien had recruited would not take on the ranks of becoming power rangers. Like most people, Aliev was skeptic about all of this but none the less the alien left with him a silver sphere and asked him to think about it. 


 


Nothing else crossed his mind since the sphere was given to him, he had to admit it did entice his curiosity. Thoughts like why he out of all people plagued his mind, could he really do this, what if he fails? That last one worried him the most. Those nights he tossed and turned in his sleep until finally, it was visions of a possible future and an old advice from his father that he made his choice. When Aliev met up with the alien again, he said he would help but only under one condition.


 


Other: 

• The condition was that he would help the team but none would know his identity and would refer to him by color.
  
• Aliev was also trained in ballet and other forms dance as well as gymnastics thanks to the connections of his uncle.
  
• Grandparents still don't want him to get his own job for now but are accepting of his figure skating career.
  
• His weapons name will be Star Reaper since it reminded me of a scythe.
  
• American with Russian descent, but doesn't speak a lick of Russian. (kids these days am I right? lol)

Backstory: Once upon a time in a faraway land, there was a princess. People adored the little princess, So much that they threw a ball every year for her birthday. When her family had gone missing over seas the people assumed them to be dead. They never found a body and Lily was left to fend for herself to the age of 17. Someone on her father & Mothers side has been staying at the castle with her to help her cope with the funeral. One day Lily was out exploring the lands until she saw something shinning in the water. Once she grabbed it the mysterious Crystal transported her to a unknown world. She fell unconscious on the beach with the crystal in her hand and in very weird clothes.

I'll try to get things started  tomorrow but the basics of the post will be Ezhno calling all the rangers to gather at the abandoned warehouse district of the currently unnamed city  because the aliens are attacking and to make sure the aliens stay away from areas where people actually live in. Later battles will actually have the aliens in populated areas but I'm going easy on you for the first battle.
