Questions about the setting? It's a modern-day world, with more homeless people than normal. Imagine today's Earth, but ruled by an evil queen.

His clothes, however, are more fitting for a post apocalyptic setting bad boy. Think a black leather jacket similar to those guys on their motors in the fifties wore ^_^


Character Name: Tidal


Age: 24


Ranger Destination: Black, Blue


Personality: Tidal is rather cold, laid back, and a quiet loner when met at first. He prefers to be and work alone for reasons he does not wish to share, not even quite with people he is/used to be close to. Deep down inside there may be something of a kind heart left, but it's hidden deep behind the walls he won't let down easily.


Occupation: criminal "mastermind" as far as that can be counted an occupation.


Personal History: Tidal has lived on the streets for almost longer than he can imagine. Heck, he doesn't even recall his actual name, if he ever had one. Tidal was just a name given to him by the gang that "saved" him from the streets when he was about thirteen years old. Reason for his nickname: wherever he goes, a tidal wave of bad luck and lots of other nasty things seems to strike. It was, therefor, quite surprising his gang didn't suddenly fall apart or anything similar until four years after he joined them. In that fourth year, the gang was brutally murdered by Rita's goons. The only reason Tidal got away, he suspects, was because he was dealing with some of the gang's "issues" in another district of the city. But with no gang to be part of, what else is there to do for a young man with nothing and nobody to hold on to? Except for petty, and sometimes not so petty, crime? This is the history he shares with people when provoked long enough/when he somehow deems you trustworthy enough. Whether this is all and whether this is the full truth? It may or may not be. After all, Tidal is not the most trustworthy person himself...

Character Name: Jeremy Sanders


Age: 21


Ranger Designation: black/red


Personality: He acts confident and bosterous like nothing bothers him and always ready to go out and fight. However he is distant with people not talking about his past or letting people get close. In truth he is deeply effected by his slave time and get get vengefull and reckless in the fight against Rita.


Occupation: former Rita slave


Personal History: Kidnapped at a young age as part of Rita's tribute dammed of her enslaved human subjects, his parents killed in front of his eyes as the tried to fight back. He was taken to Rita castle and was send to the arena to fight for rita's amusement. AN experienced fighter there took him under his wing and helped him survive thought died soon after. Jeremy made a name for himself as a fighter and eventually joined up in a small riot and managed to escape

Character Name: Marian "Alpha" Parker


Age: 28


Ranger Designation: Rangers Handler i.e. Alpha


Personality: She is the mother of the group, making it her job to insure her rangers are cheerful and focused getting whatever they need. She goes above and beyond her duties, providing food and a kind word to everyone near. She has constant and seemingly unshakeable confidence in the rangers and makes sure they know it. She may seem naive but she is far from it, she is intelligent and good at her job, she is confident because she can't continue otherwise.


Occupation: Cranston Industries Scientist


Personal History: Marian lived in poverty for much of her life, work being hard to find for her parents and having to rely on donations from Cranston Industries. One such programs were internships by the company, they didn't pay but getting through then meant high standard were living. Marian decided to join to help her family, however there were many after the job and the entry test were difficult. Marian defied expectations and got in and worked hard through the interships eventually becoming one of the industries chief scientist and trusted by Cranston himself. When the power ranger programme was about to be restored, she was one of the few picked to oversee it success.

They look great! I especially like the "Alpha" you created. She looks like an interesting character. If I may, I have a small thing to add to her, if you don't mind? What if she knows Alexis already? She might know her as the girl who stole the Violet morpher, or just a friend from the streets?
 
@Quiet I hope the "Alpha" that's been put in the applications doesn't throw you off xDD Still feel free to make a support character like her. Or, if you want...the Pink Ranger! xD Still need pink to be applied for xD lol

Personality:


Gadget is a fun loving guy who's enthusiastic about life despite the horror of the world he faces. Gadget has been putting things together since he was young. He was nicknamed the 'Boy Who Makes Something From Nothing'. Gadget is fun loving and nice but he is not naive. He can assess the situation and conclude what may happen. Gadget can be serious when it comes to Rita and her army.


Occupation: Inventor/Tinker/Engineer


Personal History:


Gadget was born to his mother who hustled to make sure he could eat and had a roof over his head. As soon as he was old enough, Gadget began to fix things for people and started to read about all types of technology. He constantly studied technology and easily passed through high school and he graduated at 16. Gadget went to college and got his Major in Technological Processes at 20 years old. He continues to repair things for people but there's a rumor that he's been digging into the History behind the Power Ranger's arsenal of weapons..

Ranger Designation: Red/Blue


Personality: By the books, hardened, intelligent. Drew is the face of young police officers in the Rita-controlled Earth. He's seen things, done things, and regretted things. But Drew has never once harmed an innocent, for he always shows compassion for the weak. Though he can be tough, he has a big heart and a willingness to do what's right in the wronged world. He has a passion for being one of the few good people left on Earth. He know's the impact of Rita's reign, and he just wants to help the world heal.


Occupation: Police Officer


Personal History: Drew is no stranger to hardship. He was 3 when Rita came to Earth, and his parents did all they could to keep him safe. His mom and dad were kind people, did what they could to get by and provide for their son. Eventually, his parents had to retire from work when Drew was about 17. Rita's reign put several hundreds of people in his city out of work, but his parents got to retire. Mines, factories, stores, all shut down by Rita to make room for her army. Drew joined the force at the age of 20 and dedicated himself to protect his parents, like they did him. He's grown up around Rita's impact, and was lucky to live. He became a cop to not only push against crime, but also to one day see Rita fall. He personally has never encountered her, but his hometown was attacked many times. When he was a child, he even saw the original power rangers fighting her forces before they were killed off. But he only got a glimpse, it was too dangerous to stick around and watch.


Extra Info: Trained in hand to hand combat, firearms, and adept in driving a cruiser. Police training has given him minor experience in combat, as well as a grit to withstand the chaos in this world.

Also, keep character coming! As I said, auditions for cast and rangers last until tomorrow evening. Still time to get a Pink applicant and more guys for red, blue and black. More support characters are welcomed, though tech-related ones for the rangers aren't exactly needed as much. I will post my character tonight or tomorrow, one. If need be, I'll make a second character xD lol Good so far, guys! :)

Ranger Designation: Violet (taken pre-skelly)


Personality: Alexis is tough, dependable, and gentle. The heart of a warrior, and the mind of a saint. Living on the streets all her life in this world has made her strong, of not naive in a way. She's lived with her "uncle" all this time in poverty. She cherishes the little things and takes pride in what she has. She was raised to stand up for herself and others, but also to back down in a really bad situation. But that's never stopped her. Alexis is your typical tomboy with an attitude, but also a surprising heart of gold.


Occupation: Charitable worker/vigilante.


Personal History: The daughter of Tommy Oliver and Kimberly Hart, two of the original Power Rangers. Her parents were chosen to fight bravely against Rita in the first resistance, and they were deemed legendary. Her mother, Kimberly, sadly died just months after giving birth to her. Tommy, her father, put her in the care of his trusted friend. He then vanished...on the run from Rita. He had to leave...for Alexis' safety, and for everyone else's. Alexis grew up on the streets of the now destroyed Angel Grove. The man who raised her, Rocky, died shortly after her 18th birthday. He died of illness, unable to really afford medicine for himself. She and Rocky always put others first, volunteering to help refugees from other cities and whatnot. Rocky trained Alexis in martial arts, teaching her how to fend for herself. Alexis had need raised as a scavenger, a warrior in training, and some might say a vigilante. She posed as a refugee when she was 16 and managed to break into Cranston industries and steal one of five power morphers. Rocky was furious that she did it...he knew the Power Rangers and the grid energy were a lost cause, and it was dangerous. But at age 17, she figured out how to use the morpher. Now 2 years later, with Rocky dead and her father still on teh run, and her home still in chaos...Alexis vows to morph into action as the Violet Ranger, and recruit four others, willing to fight and steal the morphers.


Extra Info: Trained in martial arts. Stole her morpher from Cranston Indusitries, and lives a double life as a volunteer, and a vigilante.

Great! I like him a lot, he really goes with the story. Now that I have a few applicants for the male rangers, it isn't guaranteed he'll be a ranger, but I'll see what an be done! He's great, never the less! :)

Character Name: Charlotte Lane


Age: 23


Ranger Designation: Pink/Blue or Support


Personality: Charlotte is hot-headed, hard-working, and caring. She's learned that in these harsh times that selfish things like wealth and social class didn't matter, and if humanity were to ever get rid of Rita everyone would have to cooperate and let go of petty grudges. Once charlotte sees a goal she never stops in her quest to reach it, she's a workaholic and hates taking breaks. Charlotte believes that most of the authority in the world is corrupt and simply act as Rita's puppets, she doesn't show them much respect and gets into legal trouble every now and then.


Occupation: Street Performer/ Nurse


Personal History: Charlotte's parents worked hard to make sure she could live the same sort of childhood they grew up. Her parents both worked a plethora of jobs that never seemed to get them enough money, and could barely afford a small apartment for them to live in. Still, they tried to keep her in the dark about their pains and made her childhood as pleasant as they could. She even got the chance to practice music, something most kids never got the chance to. She was a natural at playing guitar, and her voice was better than most. Once Charlotte hit 18 she decided to stray away from her parents. She didn't want to continue leeching off her parents and hoped she could make a living on her musical ability. She started off as a street performer and roamed the world for years spreading her songs. Her songs focused on the better things of life, and she hoped that anyone who listened would forget about Rita even if it was only temporary.


During her travels, she heard about Cranston Industries and its plot to overthrow Rita someday. She immediately signed up as a nurse for them caring for anyone wounded in battle or too poor to go to a regular hospital. While at first she wasn't the greatest and was far too inexperienced, she's a quick learner and became one of their greatest.


Extra Info: Ugh, I wrote this at 4 pm yesterday. I just woke up and realized I didn't hit enter lol. Then I realized someone else signed up for Pink ranger >.>.
 
@Quiet @Automagic great! Two pink applicants! I'm gonna have a hard time choosing xDD I'll post the results for all characters tonight when I'm off campus and home. Looking forward to seeing one as the Pink Ranger and the other as a hopeful side/support! Thanks so much guys! <3 :)

Don't worry about her being late! Char. auditions last until today, around the evening. So really, she's just in time :)

I know I said it'd be a while, but I already had the cast in my head set. If you're unhappy with your role, or have questions, feel free to message me! Thank you all for showing your interest!
