Good day everyone! I love the applications thus far! I have finally read through the ones that have been posted. Due to the great responses, I am considering pushing up the application deadline since there doesn't seem to be anymore applications being posted. Therefore, the deadline for applications will change to this Saturday, July 18th.

To explain my reason why I'm looking for another female character is simply because I'm in position to accept all of the characters and adding one more female character will really help out what I have in mind for the plot.

Then let me tell you I'm at a summer job with bad internet. It's almost the end of my second week, and I'm working for 6, so four more to go. I do have a few moments of free time every now and then though, and Mondays are my free day. Although you might have some preparation work to do for the rest of the week... Anyways, i might not be online a lot too. I'll try to post as often as possible though.

I'm excited to have all of you guys on board for this RP. I look forward to a great game with you all!


You all were selected to your positions for different reasons but I won't get into any of that. For now, embrace your color! No, you don't have to always conveniently be wearing your color throughout the roleplay, but if you want to add that, then feel free! Shane, my character, will probably occasionally wear Red, but he won't wear Red every single day because that'd be crazy for him haha.


Anyway, moving forward with the roleplay, this roleplay will very much be story-based. What does that mean? Well, we're all the authors of this domain. Though I am the game master, you all are game masters in a sense. If you have suggestions for the direction of the RP, shoot me a PM or post in the OCC. I promise I don't bite. However, keep in mind that some changes or suggestions cannot be made due to the plot that I already have in mind. It's a very good plot, in my opinion.


As far as character relationships, I think it would be best if all of the characters shared some sort of relationship, but I don't want them all of sudden becoming best friends after one fight, you know? There will be occasions where we fight as a team and it's very unorganized, but there may be an instance where two Rangers are fighting and they have great chemistry with each other. That being said, I do want INTERACTION amongst the characters. We're all in the same world, so interact. Ultimately, we all will become a tight knit group of friends, but we will have major growing pains on the way to becoming a functional team. Love relationships are welcome, but let's not make that the driving point and purpose for the RP, got it? Cool.


Under the overview tab, please be sure to see what weapons your character has. More detailed images about these weapons can be seen in the arsenal tab. Any questions about weapons, just tag me in the OCC tab or send me a PM.


As far as NPCs, Seraph is kind of like our Zordon, but he isn't easily accessible. He kind of just shows up randomly, therefore, we're learning this ranger thing on our own. if your character wants to go in guns blazing, by all means do so. If your character is patient or scared, then that's fine too. Eventually we all be on one accord. Seraph will guide us along the way whenever he can, but just know that there is no distinct mentor early on in the roleplay. Those issues will be resolved in a later arc.


Evelyn Bennett, another NPC, is an important woman in the community. It's amazing she hasn't run for mayor yet. She's a relatively cool lady, aside from her very aggressive business tactics. She publicly supports the Rangers efforts in keeping the city safe, but she eventually is going to want to partner up with the Rangers. There will be more about this plot in a future arc as well.


Oh, speaking of Rangers, try to keep your identities hidden, please!


Charlie Hunter is one of the bartenders at Halo's, a college bar in the city. He's usually the go-to guy for all things Angel Grove, including the lowdown on who's doing what. If you want information, go to him!


Hmm what else....


For in-game fights, these will be text based. Usually, I'll say "Attack or Fight a monster" and you guys will pretty much post whatever you want. Of course, I want your character fight, claw, win, struggle, hit the wall, etc. So, no godmodding in this instance. Our characters can and will get hurt. When I give the signal "finish your fight" then you may issue one more post where you defeat the monster or monsters you're fighting.


The Hive will be explained in context as the RP begins. Keeping that a secret for now.


The locations that are listed are for your interpretation. Feel free to go into detail about those as you wish. Other locations can be created on your own free will and I will add those to the list (as I will with other things) on the overview tab.


Lastly, story arcs. This game will be divided into multiple arcs, so that we can keep track of what's going on or what's about to happen. There will be episodes within the arcs where we face a task and must handle it accordingly. Separate objectives will be created within the episode so people know what to do ahead of time. Each character and character(s) (working together on occasion) will have the opportunity to shine. As I stated before, just because Shane is the Red Ranger, does not mean he is the leader. We will each have our turn in leading the team, but for the most part we work together and rely on each other to win fights. The first episode of the Arc "Rebirth" will be posted some time tomorrow since I'm working so fast on this RP, so be on the lookout for that.
