[Pokepunk] [Flemeth] A Tail Concerto

Robert looked around town for a bit. Before he would head out into the wilds, he wanted to be sure that Ruby was back up to peek performance. Every town had to have a Pokemon Center of some sort, or at least that was his though. The boy looked around town, keeping his eyes peeled for one. If there was one in this town, he would head on inside and bring his Eevee over to the nurse to have Ruby taken care of. Only once she was back up to snuff would he take on the dangers of the next stretch of his journey.

(You don't need to heal your Pokemon between battles.)

"Welcome to the Pokemon Center!" a Nurse greeted him. There were a few trainers getting their Pokemon their check-ups; most of them looked like coordinators or pet owners than trainers. A few were Rangers and Trainers getting their Pokemon checked up on.

"Would you like us to take a look at your Pokemon?"

[Alright. I thought that damage would carry over into other fights.]

Robert gave a nod and placed his Eevee up onto the desk, along with her Pokeball. "Yes. She just finished with a battle, so I'd like to get her fully healed before I head out of town to Route 1. Don't know what to expect when I get there, so it helps to have my friend here at her best." he explained to the nurse. He pets his Eevee's head in an affectionate manner before letting the nurse take his friend to be taken care of.

"Well, having her in tip-top shape is important!" the Nurse said, "Let me take a look at her. Hmm...She should be fine with some food and rest, actually, but I would recommend feeding her an Oran berry."

She pulled a dried Oran berry from a bag hanging on the wall.

"Just mix it in her food and let her get some rest, and she'll be fine. Most battle injuries aren't a problem, but things like poison, freezes, and burns should be attended to immediately; that's when you should make your way to a Pokemon center, if you don't have the supplies yourself."

Robert gave a nod to the nurse as he accepted the dried berry. "Thank you." he spoke to the nurse before putting the berry into the tin of Pokemon Food in his backpack. The food in the tin was basic Pokefood pellets. Decent for all Pokemon, but not the specialized kinds of food that his parents often prepared for their Pokemon. He would have to get to know Ruby's likes and dislikes as far as flavors, and he would need to start thinking about ingredients to make the kind of nutritional foods that would fully meet a Normal Type Eevee's nutritional needs.

Once Ruby was back on his shoulder, the boy would make his way to the exit of the city, leading out to Route 1. The start of the real adventure was about to begin.
