  Personality

  At first Ellen might seem like a quiet, well-behaved girl. She doesn't talk much to strangers unless she's talked to, she does what people ask, she doesn't get into anyone's way... But the truth is that Ellen's basically too nervous to be herself around strangers. She easily gets along with Pokemon, but people are a challenge. The girl always worries that she might do something inappropriate or end up disappointing someone. Simply put, she's socially awkward. Despite that, she always looks forward to making friends and once she opens up to someone, Ellen shows her real self: energetic, enthusiastic, chatty and affectionate. She becomes a cheerful ball of energy, who's ready to talk your ear off if you let her. On top of that, Eleanor gets easily excited over the smallest adventures and challenges. You can just imagine that starting her own Pokemon adventure is like a dream coming true to her.
  
  
  Furthermore, Ellen is a loyal friend and she sticks with her friends for good. In fact, she tends to depend on them and feel lonely if she doesn't have anybody to rely on by her side. While she supports her friends no matter what, she also cares a lot about doing the right thing and helping out those in need. As long as she dares approach them, that is. As expected of someone who has trouble dealing with people, Ellen is also fairly inexperienced. The girl innocently believes in the good hidden deep inside of every person and naively trusts nearly anything you tell her, making it rather easy to hurt her self esteem and confidence.
  
  
  Her hobbies include photography and listening to music (mainly rock). Ellen also likes the color blue and Pokemon training. She hopes to earn badges and attempt the Elite Four challenge. The girl also generally prefers quiet places, where she doesn't have to interact with people. As for Pokemon, Ellen adores nearly all of them, as far as she knows (she hasn't seen them all, after all). The young trainer is particularly interested in legendary ones and dreams of being able to meet one.

  Appearance

  Standing at around 5'1, Eleanor is a petite girl with a slim frame. Her green eyes have a naive sparkle to them, further adding to her childish appearance. A set of light freckles on her nose completes the image, going well with her girly personality.
  
  
  Her hair reaches all the way to her waist. It's blonde and straight, often tied up high in a messy ponytail for comfort, with her front hair swept to the side. Her usual outfit consists of a pair of jeans shorts paired up with black leggings, a baggy dark blue jacket and a black tank top.

  Background

  Eleanor or Ellen, as most others call her, has always lived in her family's hometown: Fallarbor town. She has a pretty close relation with her family: both of her parents are very loving and caring, and her older sister, Anita, is her best friend and role model. The two girls have been very close since they were little: they always played together, talked about everything and, of course, shared the dream of becoming pokemon trainers.
  
  
  Naturally, it was the older one of the two who got to start her pokemon adventure first. While Ellen missed her sister dearly from the day she left, she was also proud of her. To help her sister's loneliness, Anita decided to let Ellen look after the pokemon she catches. This allowed Ellen to gain experience at dealing with pokemon, to the point that she eventually grew more attached to her sister's pokemon than to any of her classmates at school. In the end, Anita even gave her an egg to care for and allowed Ellen to keep the pokemon that hatches from it. Ellen happily accepted and looked after the egg until an Absol hatched from it. The girl became quick friends with her new companion and named him Innova.
  
  
  As years passed, Anita has become a skilled pokemon trainer with a neat collection of badges from Hoenn and Sinnoh as proof. Ellen is now finally old enough to start her own adventure and she's headed to the region of Sinnoh. She chose that place on the recommendation of her sister, who is traveling there as well.

One would think that he's the one being looked after in this pair and while that was true at first, before anyone would notice, their roles were reversed. Ellen, being as socially awkward and timid as she is, can't handle many situations and Innova happily takes on the role of her guardian. He supports her during her struggles and encourages her when needed. While he doesn't usually show emotions and tends to keep his cool, the Absol bravely accepts new challenges and protects his trainer from any harm. He enjoys battling and cares a lot about being strong. While he might not admit to it, he hates losing. Innova's rather neutral when it comes to other pokemon, although he hopes that any future teammates would be strong enough to help him and Ellen become Champions.

Wyatt is a rather...laidback individual. Some say he eats as much as a snorlax and would sleep as much as one too if the chance would arise. He speaks in a rather calm slur and it's nearly impossible to get him mad. He loves long walks and hanging out with friends, as well as sleeping, eating, and especially being a pokemon trainer. He's nice to everyone he meets, especially the villans, thanks to his main reason being it's more work keeping track of enemies than friends. He treats pokemon as if they were actual people, offering them food and playing with them (Even though he doesn't move much). Despite his attitude, he can be extremely nervous and jumpy when it comes to life-threatning situations. He's also afraid of dragon type pokemon after an accident when he was younger. Even if he's lazy, he'll be willing to become more active when it comes to pokemon battles and saving his friends, as well as whatever his pokemon needs. He also hates, REALLY hates, cruelty towards pokemon and humans.


Apperance:


A 4'9 male with dark chocolate skin and a buzz cut. He's wears a normal yellow and white button down shirt with dark blue jeans. He also wears a snorlax cap and even has a slaking bracelet.


Background:


When he was a young child, his parents were known to be pokemon wrestlers, an illegal activity where various participants would wrestle pokemon for money. He would often be alone as his dad would wrestle while his mother would bet on him. This continue until he was six, up to the point where wyatt trained himself constantly to wrestle like his dad, still not knowing it was an illegal event, thanks to his mom's rather childish description of the whole thing. It was then, during a match, his dad was beaten to death by a dragon type. His mother, shocked and scared that she would have to pat the bet on her own, took all the money she and her husband had earned up and ran away, planning to leave town and her son behind. But it's owner managed to catch up to her, using a move to severely burn her to ashes. After two whole days on his own, his grandpa finally found him at the house and told him the full story. After years, wyatt gained a relaxed and lazy attitude in order to prevent himself from becoming the extremists his parents once were. He became a pokemon trainer, grabbed his turtwig (green bean), had a heartfelt goodbye with his grandpa, and took a boat to sinnoh to put his past behind him and find green bean some friends.

  Background

  Born on Cinnabar Island, in the Kanto region, Dalton grew up around fire type pokemon. The gym leader was his idol and he wanted to take over the gym one day. Dalton Lost his parents in the volcanic eruption that destroyed a lot of Cinnabar and the gym leader left to start his gym on a new island. With no parents or role models, Dalton ran away to the Sinnoh region. There he lived alone until he found a pokemon egg. The boy took care of the egg until it hatched into a magby. He named the pokemon Mara. She ended up being the only thing Dalton cared about. Now that Dalton is older he's ready to face the world.

Personality: Renne is a kid who strives for adventure. Always dreaming of going out on his own one day and experiencing the world. He is very kind to most around him, as long as he believe they're a good person. Renne always tries to make a good first impression so he does not embarrass himself or makes himself seem not worth the time. Renne struggles with stressful situations. He's often the first to overly stress and panic. He has great trouble keeping his cool in dire situations, this often leads to his failure. He also has trouble relying on others, due to not wanting to burden anyone.

Background: Renne is a kid from Jubilife City. He lives with his mom, a Pokemon Doctor, because his dad left on his own Pokemon Journey a long time ago. Renne's life was surrounded by pokemon. He watched Pokemon Tournaments, News, etc. He loved Pokemon. His dream was to go on his own adventure with his own pokemon, and experience so many things. Renne was a very anxious kid growing up, seeing his mom stress over her work. Renne finally got his chance to become a trainer when his mom gave him 1 Pokeball. Renne and his mom went to route 202. That's when Renne saw him. Renne saw a Shinx. The Shinx turned, and walked towards Renne nonchalantly. Renne tightened his grip. Shinx gave a little yelp, which startled Renne and dropped his Pokeball. The Shinx tapped the button and caught itself. Renne's mom laughed at the pitiful, yet successful attempt. Renne's adventure has finally started.

Alexa is a determined trainer who gives her all in battle. She has a kind demeanor, and enjoys the company of Pokemon. She also has a strong sense of justice, and dislikes strife between Pokemon and humans.


Appearance:


5'2 108 lbs, normal weight for her small frame. She has dark brown hair that extends just past her shoulders and light blue eyes. She usually wears a pretty blue and white blouse that ties around the back of her neck, a light grey skirt, two white fingerless gloves and white shoes. She also carries a satchel slung over one shoulder, where she keeps all of her essential items.


Background:


Alexa was born and raised in the Sinnoh region, where she has lived with her family in Canalave city for most of her life. Her parents discovered that she had the potential to wield aura from a young age, just like her father. She would often go with him to Iron Island to train and harness her abilities. However, Alexa was always more interested in Pokemon than she was in learning how to control her powers.


Her father taught her that learning to wield aura was incredibly valuable because it allows you to understand Pokemon on a deeper level. In time, Alexa came to understand what her father had taught her, and with that knowledge she eventually learned how to use her abilities.


For her accomplishment, her father gifted her with a brand new Pokedex from Professor Cedar, a town map and a single Pokeball. That Pokeball contained a Pokemon inside, which happened to be a young Riolu. The two of them immediately felt a connection with each other, and it was then that Alexa decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a Pokemon trainer. She and Riolu have been traveling together ever since.

Caleb stands at 5'10". His hair is a dark, reddish brown color and his eyes are a cloudy, muted gray, like the sky right before a thunderstorm. He has a slim face and has his ears pierced in multiple places. His figure is thin, but not bony. He isn't the most athletic, so he doesn't have any defining muscles or anything either. He eats well and does a necessary amount of exercise, so he has a pretty average weight (140lbs).


He tends to dress warmly, since he learned that Sinnoh could be especially cold. Sometimes he'll wear a hooded jacket that can cover his mouth, or he'll wear a buttoned, non-hooded jacket with a scarf and hat.

Personality: Caleb is very reserved. He grew up sheltered from pretty much everything and worked in the Pokemon Lab from the time he moved to the Cinnabar Islands. He's very intelligent, knowing much information on Pokemon and how they act, machines, and ancient history.


He "locked up" much of his personality in the time he had to spend with his mom. He acts almost like a robot around people at times, seeing as though the only people he would talk to were stone-hearted adults. He was so used to speaking when spoken to, asking questions when it's encouraged, and being polite, that he can't help but revert to that kind of mannerism around anyone.


He wishes he could act differently, but he had become very untrustworthy of others. The only times he really expressed any of his thoughts and feelings was towards Dial-up, who didn't understand how he felt because they were basically like a robot. They try though, which helped a bit.


Caleb's biggest hope is that maybe in time, he would learn how to let go of himself and be able to start acting like his old self again, but old habits die hard. Maybe now that he's in Sinnoh without his buddy, he'll start to open up.


Items: 5 Pokeballs, an almost empty Pokedex (he has the entry for Porygon, Togetic, and a few other Cinnabar natives), a few changes of clothes, and a cell phone.

History

Caleb lived with his mother and father as a young child in Saffron City. He attended school until he was ten, when he had to move to the Cinnibar Islands because of his parents' work.


His mother was a former admin of Silph Co who became stationed in the Pokemon Lab. She was a very stern woman and expected Caleb to follow in his parents' footsteps and act like an adult from a very young age. His father, who also worked there as a mechanic and programmer, was a lot less cold and unemotional, and would let Caleb be a kid when his mother wasn't around. He frequently gave Caleb books to read, like books on famous trainers, battle techniques, and other Pokemon books, but also fiction books.


His mother hired a private teacher to homeschool Caleb so he wouldn't "be a stupid child," and while he didn't particularly like the idea of being homeschooled, his teacher was quite nice and she even let him meet her Pokemon, Kreo, who was a Togetic.


For his twelfth birthday, his father gave him a Pokedex and his first Pokemon, despite his mother's wishes ("A silly thing like that will only distract him!" she would say). This Pokemon was a Porygon, who Caleb named Dial-up because it reminded him of dial-up on a computer.


A few years later, his parents filed for a divorce and Caleb was suddenly in the middle of the whole situation. It ended up being where he lived with his mother for the next four years. Sometimes he was allowed to visit his father, who moved on to other work, but usually spent time researching in the Lab. Surprisingly, his mother agreed to let him keep Dial-up, who had become the closest thing to a friend that he had (he was never allowed to have close friends at school, and this became very reserved). He tended to rebel against his mom, but one day he took it too far and she took his Pokemon's pokeball and threatened to lock up that "stupid robotic thing" if Caleb defied her again. He apologized profusely and promised to never do so again, so his Pokemon was given back. However, he turned 18 the next week, which meant he was finally freed from his mother's iron grip. He used whatever money he had to buy ferry tickets so he could personally go back and see his father, who welcomed him with open arms.


After some begging, Caleb got his father's agreement to help him get a ticket to go to Sinnoh so he could live his own life, as long as he promised to check in. Sadly, Dial-Up was malfunctioning, so the Porygon had to stay behind until his father could fix it.


So off he went, getting some money from his father to make sure he could get around, and a new Pokemon; A Gastly. The Gastly he was given, which he named Cheshire, was bred from one of his father's Gengar, so Caleb promised to take good care of it.

Cheshire is a very tough Pokemon. He wants to get stronger and is thankful that his trainer isn't some dimwitted kid, and instead a smart guy. He likes having some kind of control, and even though he knows Caleb calls the shots, he's not afraid to tell his trainer what he's doing wrong, even if he can't communicate it to him through words.

Name: Esper Marlowe

Region: Sinnoh


Personality: Has lapses into a very serious state, but otherwise, tries to find the comedy in things, and is all-around a pretty good person. Takes a while to trust people, though, and distrusts people even more if they trust him immediately.


Appearance: Lightly tanned, with short, dark brown hair, which is ruffled lightly. He isn't the biggest fan of combing his hair, so it's normally a bit messy unless he's about to go to something important. He stands at 184cm tall, has a toned body structure, and his eyes - one brown, the other true silver - portray more knowledge than a boy of his age probably should. He typically wears dark colours, with pants that reach his knees, short sleeved shirts, and a black overcoat that runs down to his mid-shins. On his belt is the standard pokeballs, but also a strange, clyndrical object that is black as tar and quite solid...


Background: (Is it alright if his background is explained in my first post? Something happens to him then that makes him forget most of his past, and that's what I want him to be like. If it's not ok, I can manage something.

Daring: In contrast to his calm demeanor, Zj is quite daring and unorthodox with his tactics often displaying a form of risk and creativity in his style of battle.


Fiery: Zj can become quite fiery and heated when his emotions are running at high levels and he is unable to control himself any further.


Relaxed: Despite his fame as an actor back in Kalos, Zj truly is humble and relaxed with a certain silent confidence about him, he wishes nothing more then to simply pursue his goals as a trainer and put aside his acting career for the time being.


Noble: Just as his career in acting often displayed when portraying his role as a heroic character, Zj is not far different in real life. He holds himself to a certain code and has a sense of chivalry, if you will and would stand against those who do wrong, defending those in need or who appear so.
