Fandom Pokemon: The Galar League [OOC]

Hey guys, this is the OOC. Just a good place to discuss everything.

So a few rules:
All RPNation community rules apply
Battles will be conducted under singles rules. Each trainer will have 4 Pokemon.
Each trainer will battle 16 times in the season.
At the end, the 8 best trainers will be awarded the title of Gym Leader for the gym challenge.

A good place to start is, do you guys think the battles should be contended on Showdown? Should they be simulated? Or should they be played out in writing?

Since the idea is to become Gym Leaders, are we limited to type specialists?

Hoo boy, Rivalries already getting established in CS and we aren't even in the RP yet.

13 is Claira's lucky number, and someone has a Duralodon on their team. Gonna be a fun time indeed.

Alright folks, I will be putting the first introductory post up tonight or tomorrow. I will still be accepting characters until Monday however. If you have a like from me on your CS you are cleared to post after mine has gone up.

Keep any questions you have coming. I am thinking we're gonna rp the battles, but I'm trying to come up with a way that pvp battles don't take 43 short posts.

I personally was hoping to use pokemon showdown. And why don't you have access to it? It's a free online pokemon battle simulator after all.
