Name: Chazz Berlitz
Age: 18
Appearance: Most notable upon first glance, is his ghostly pale skin, due to living life indoors. His chiseled facial features outline his brilliant green eyes. Chazz is never seen without his signature slicked back golden hair, in which a comb is almost being run through.

Personal History: The grandson of the wealthiest man in all of Sinnoh, Chazz has had life served to him on a diamond encrusted platter. With an army of personal chefs, private tutors, nannies, maids, butlers, and even bodyguard, Chazz has never really been told no… by anyone. Though most would call him a spoiled b...rat, many others would also call him a prodigy. Among his private tutors were the likes of Wallace and Brandon, who were paid to teach him the more finer points of battling and performing under pressure. Unfortunately all of this combined has lead to an “I am better than you” attitude that has kept him from ever having any real friends.

Just like everything else in life, his first Pokémon was handed to him as well. On his sixteenth birthday, Chazz was given his first Pokémon. Due to his lack of a relationship with either of his parent’s, and not having any siblings, his Pokémon quickly became his closest companion. The two quickly became bound at the hip, doing everything together. Though the pair are both trained in a variety of battle styles, they remain undefeated in battle not due to skill, but because no one has actually tried to beat them. This ‘undefeated’ streak has only fed into Chazz’s already unbearable arrogance.

Goal: Wants to prove himself, as well as everyone else that he is more than his last name. Though he loves his family and what they’ve done for him, he longs to stand out of the shadow of his ancestors.

Starter: Eevee: “Beau”

An overly pampered, melodramatic Pokémon. Beau is bound for the big screen, having mastered the art of acting. He has become quite adept at feigning injury only to sucker in an opponent. He is as entitled as Pokémon come, first to rush to receive a poffin. (Even ones not meant for him). Though he is a good battler, in front of an audience performing is where Beau longs to be.

Name: Xander Cross
Age: 19
Appearance: Underneath the long crimson curls that hang around his face, are two bright gold eyes encased in sun soaked olive skin. His tall lengthy build is often on display with cut off sleeves and deep v-necks. His face is almost always masked by the same stoic disposition, as if the scowl is painted onto his face.

Personal History: Cross was well known/liked all around school and his hometown of Slateport. He was among the top performer’s in his class, having a perfect battle record all throughout his academic career. Graduating early, Cross started his adventure younger than most, with more knowledge than some other experienced trainers. The frequent success did leave him with an inflated ego, but his skill performance backed it up.

Cross would remain undefeated all the way up to his 4th gym battle. During his first challenge against Watson of Mauville city gym, Cross failed to even beat the gym leaders first Pokémon. This, followed by two more failed attempts, would end up breaking the young man's confidence in himself and his team. Feeling at a loss, he decided a change of scenery was necessary. After a brief visit home to say goodbye to friends and family, he left on the first boat out of Slateport, destination Sinnoh. With only his initial partner, Nero at his side, he set off again on a new journey. Fastforward 9 months and he's standing in the coronation ceremony of the Lily of the Valley Conference, being crowned last years winner.

Sadly Cross’ moment of glory was only fleeting, as he agreed to have his Championship match aired on live tv. All of Sinnoh watched as Cynthia and Garchomp took down all six of his Pokémon with ease. The humiliation for Cross, though all in his head (Everyone in the world knows how stupid OP Cynthia’s Garchomp is) changed his style completely. He now believes strength is everything, solely focusing on his Pokémon reaching maximum potential. Nowadays his loss to Cynthia is only fuel to become stronger.

Goal: Become Champion. Have an ‘unbeatable’ team. Win.

Starter: Shiftry: “Nero”

Of the pair, Nero would be considered the relaxed one. Even in the face of defeat, Nero keeps his cool and calm composure. When out of his Pokéball, Nero can often be found lying about in the shade. He is by far Cross’ strongest Pokémon having been with him from the first day of his Journey.

Name: Eliott "Eli" Cameron Brookes
Age:18
Appearance:

Standing at six feet even, Eliott weighs around one hundred-eighty and pounds, most of that evening out to a lean and athletic build. With unnaturally short, messy white hair, a weird family genetic that makes him stand out in a crowd, and pale skin due to the harsh and often sunless climate of Snowpoint City. Eli has dark green eyes, inherited from his mother to which he has to wear mild prescription glasses over due to his poor vision which could classify him as "blind" but just barely keeps him above water. Covered in tattoos from age sixteen that envelopes his right arm and hand, along with one larger one obtained at seventeen that covers the left side of his neck and shoulder. Due to being in the colder climates Eliott is usually seen wearing a sweater or a hoodie of sorts, the pants usually vary on occasion but he'll never wear shorts due to the fact that "They look stupid." and can often be seen wearing hiking boots, having grown accustomed to rough terrains from his childhood.

Personal History: Eliott grew up the middle child in a rather large family with four other brothers and three sisters, so in a crowded environment like that one child can only receive so much attention. Growing up in Snowpoint City didn't really offer much other than constant snow days from school or the usual sledding, so in his early years, Eli tried all he could to stand out among the crowded numbers in is home, be it academics, art, or simply being the star child and at every turn he was outdone so eventually he just sunk into the crowd. He simply took the opportunity as early freedom and began doing as he pleased, so long as it didn't land him in any trouble. He was always a person people found easy to get along with, not too quiet and not too loud, he was simply neutral and very welcoming. At the age of eleven, he took an interest in battling and would often sneak down to the Snowpoint gym to watch Candice battle, or would stay home from school to watch battles on tv, once on a school trip to Hearthome City he managed to sneak away long enough to see Fantina in battle before her retirement. As a person, Eli is what most people took upon themselves to call "cool" Idolizing his style, likable nature, and level-headed persona, and the ability to still have fun with his friends. At the age of fourteen, he fell in love with photography and still is till this day, and can often be found out snapping pictures of wild pokemon and on rare occasions, trainers would ask him to photograph them and their pokemon which he often found pretty cool. At the age of sixteen was when he began getting more involved with pokemon, studying them and was also when he began getting his tattoos, not that his parents noticed until it was too late. Eliott was one of the first few to actually want to leave and start his journey, his sister who wanted to be a coordinator was the first at age seventeen, followed by his brother who went to stay with their uncle in Unova so he could start his journey at age sixteen, then his other brother who went on to more schooling to become a pokemon doctor at nineteen.

During Eliott's last "official" year of school was when he finally came to terms with the idea of traveling, and at that point, the students were already being taken out in groups on their safari tours to catch their first pokemon. While many students aimed for the "coolest" starter, Eli just wanted a friend he could depend on in the end, for all he cared it could've been a Magikarp he caught that day, but that wasn't the case. His first encounter was a Slowpoke which he found pretty cool, but it just seemed to stare at him the entire time which eventually got creepy after ten minutes so he moved on, the second one was Gible, while extremely rare he allowed another girl from his class to try her hand at it- having known about her love of dragon-types since they started school, and she successfully captured the little dragon, earning an applause from Eliott before he moved on as their venture was coming to a close soon. He had almost given up on the idea and was resting under a tree near the entrance when a berry fell into his lap, then another, and another...soon after a Yanma came buzzing in, paying no mind to the young man as it ate, only taking notice of Eli when he grabbed a berry. The two had a bit of a stare down for a while before Eli offered up the fruit, two which the bug-type happily accepted, as most of its kind it was a pretty big bug, certainly nothing special but it was rather friendly and continued to buzz around Eli, flying up to knock down more berries, only to have them fed to it by the young man. So maybe it was a destined pair or maybe they just liked the idea of the company, regardless of why Eli captured the pokemon, dubbing it 'Delta,' his first pokemon.

A few months after graduating Eli and Delta left home, finally gaining the resolve to start a journey of their own the pair headed down to Jubilife City, and from there they would take on the Sinnoh League together.

Goal: Other than defeating the Sinnoh League, Eli also wants to travel the regions, taking on their leagues to see what he's learned from the previous expedition. Winning or losing doesn't matter, he just wants the experience, and if he happens to become Champion in the process that just makes it all the better. Another side goal of his is to at least encounter the legendary pokemon he's read so much about, while a battle with a legend would be foolish he simply wants to be in the presence of one long enough to possibly snap a picture of, but if not then the memory will be more than enough.
Starter: Yanma: "Delta"

Delta is rather curious and almost childlike in his actions. He prefers to fly about freely or roost on Eliott, rather than remain confined to his Pokeball, he enjoys the company of Eli and often hovers around him, or coaxing the young man into a game of chase or catch during training sessions. During battles he becomes a diligent battler, executing his commands the second they are made, and always giving 100% until either he or the other pokemon faints. Delta is also rather spoiled, while Eli can be stern and focused during battles, outside Delta often takes advantage of the young man's relaxed nature, dragging him over to sweets or berries he sees or even landing on items he wants in marts and refusing to move unless purchased and if neither happens then he tends to ignore or avoid Eli until Eliott buys him something to make up for it or until the pokemon gets over it- which usually happens pretty quick, he is also the main focus in many of Eli's photo's often being caught mid-flight, or resting on the young man, while the camera confuses him he still finds delight in the attention.

[Human__Ramen]

Name: Ashley Denson

Age: 17

Appearance:

Standing at a measly 5'3" and weighing 86 pounds, Ashley's small and frail physique is a product of her premature birth. She typically wears oversized clothing, with her normal attire consisting of a purple hoodie at least two sizes larger than what she needs over a black top, dark grey shorts over black leggings and white sneakers with purple and black shoelaces. Over the past few years Ashley grew her hair out, and it now reaches the middle of her back, with a few magenta strands contrasting against her hair's natural raven black color.

Personal History: Ashley's mother gave birth only 6 months into her gestation, and, upon birth, the little girl struggled to stay alive. Her lungs hadn't fully developed, so for the first few months of her life she had to breathe with the help of machines. Her early life was mostly occupied with trips to the hospital to check on her growth and condition. During her stays at the hospital, despite being a naturally shy and reserved kid, she made a few friendships. But they never lasted long, as the other children would either recover quicker than her or... Wouldn't. This would eventually make her more cynical than other children her age, enforcing her withdrawn personality.

Ashley's visits became less frequent as she grew older, eventually coming to a halt when she was eight years old. However, it didn't stop her from being constantly sheltered and protected by her parents just for being asthmatic, something that aggravated her. Her reclusive personality extended to her relationship with her parents, and she would often disobey them out of spite.

Growing up in Hearthome City, Fantina was a central figure in the town, and someone she admired. Ashley would often sneak out to watch her battle challengers at the gym or perform at the Contest Hall. It was her first taste of the Pokemon world, and she was hooked. She never really interacted with the woman, as she'd probably have a panic attack, but she admired her confidence, her grace and her mastery over the ghost type. Ashley wanted to be like Fantina

Like many other kids, Ashley attended school in pursuit of being the best in the region. She couldn't stand her parents coddling her, how they still treated like a vulnerable baby, and it seemed to her this was the only way to prove to them she didn't need their overbearing protection.

A year before she graduated, Ashley attended a summer camp for aspiring trainers. This was shortly after Fantina's retirement, which disappointed Ashley, but the girl was still determined with her own goal. It was here where she had her first Pokemon encounter. She had snuck out at night, walking along the forest line and appreciating the cold breeze when she spotted a faint red light coming from within the forest. Naturally, she went to investigate, only to be caught off guard by a horrible shriek that triggered her asthma, and shortly after she was helped by a few counselors that were awoken by the yell and taken back to camp, clutching her chest.

Despite the fright, Ashley was captivated by the allusive Pokemon. After much debate, she talked some of the counselors into going after the Pokemon. After a rather lengthy search, a guilty looking Misdreavus reared it's head out, seemingly trying to apologize to the girl. Ashley was charmed by the ghost's behavior and accepted its apology. She later caught that same Misdreavus, deciding that that was her perfect partner.

Once Ashley graduated, she could really get her journey on the road. With some experience with Pokemon training under her bel, the girl set foot to Jubilife City, with a single goal in mind: become the new champion of Sinnoh.

Goal: Become champion of Sinnoh to prove to her parents and herself that she's capable of much more than what's expected of her.

Starter: Misdreavus

The circumstances of when they first met weren't exactly ideal, but it was significant enough that Ashley knew from the start she wanted her. Misdreavus is bold and rash, doing things without thinking them through, and likes to scare others for fun so long as they don't have too much of a negative reaction, like what happened with Ashley the first time around. When she's not doing that, she's usually seen hovering around Ashley, as she hates the pokeball.

In battle, Misdreavus is thrilled and executes Ashley's commands with a child-like eagerness. She's fairly competent, being faster than most other Pokemon, and she doesn't let losses affect her all that much, instead choosing to look forward to the next battle.

[Dandelion]

Name: Julian Cyncad

Age: 18

Appearance:

Fairly average height for a male his age, with long but sturdy limbs from a lifestyle of working on a farm. He prefers stylish jackets and hoodies, however, so his physical strength isn’t readily apparent. Furthermore, considering his style, guessing Julian grew up in the countryside would probably be more shocking than anything else.
Very faint freckles dot the bridge of his nose and can usually only be noticed from close-up.

Personal History: Growing up in the small, backwater location of Solaceon Town, Julian is a born and raised country boy. His incredibly doting parents own and run a Pokemon ranch that supplies much of the Moomoo milk to the Café Cabin on Route 210. As an only child he spent the majority of his young life helping out around the ranch between juggling school-work and as such is no stranger to dedication and hard work. Julian was always the boisterous and amicable boy in school, charming at times and exhausting at others. He flitted between friend groups like a butterfly, making friends easily but rarely with any depth. He mellowed out over the years, thankfully, but his theatrical antics remain. Furthermore, he’s always possessed an active imagination and a desire for something different, and something new, than his predictable and quiet life. Battling had never really appealed to him but he knew he could never remain content living on the ranch forever. It wasn’t until his 13th birthday that his parents treated him to a visit to the nearby Hearthome City’s contest hall. The elegance, the extravagance, and the entirely different way of bonding with Pokemon was unlike anything Julian had seen before and sparked a dream in him. He watched contests from then on, mostly on television and occasionally in person whenever he could, imagining and planning out performances of his own, already mulling over what his future Pokemon team could be.

When it was finally time to catch his own Pokemon on safari, to say Julian was excited would be an understatement. He’d grown up surrounded by Miltank, Tauros, and Mareep, so he was no stranger to bonding with a few different types of Pokemon, but whatever Pokemon he found that day would be his very own, would be his first time actively befriending something new. Julian was determined to find not the strongest nor even the most beautiful, but one he could envision on the stage as his partner and friend. A Snorunt stood out like a sore thumb, and its evolution line wasn’t bad to consider for the future, easily catching his eye when he (accidentally) startled it and icicles hit him square in the face. Although they haven’t known each other for very long, their opposing personalities seem to complement each other well, and their bond may only grow stronger given their similar goals.

The last thing Julian wants is to be seen as a country-bumpkin by his peers or, heaven forbid, by his competitors, and so he’s crafted a persona of elegance to hide that fact. Once in a while he says something that suggests he’s not the fancy city boy he pretends to be.

Goal: In addition to finally getting to leave home and set out on a journey, Julian hopes to finally put his knowledge to use and prove himself as a worthy coordinator known throughout the region by earning ribbons and winning the Grand Festival. A part of it is certainly a desire for fame and a more exciting lifestyle, but he also wants to connect with Pokemon in a way that’s different from battling.

Your starter: Snorunt - “Noir”

Painfully shy and often clinging to Julian’s leg when out of her Pokeball, Noir might be one of the last Pokemon you’d expect to see on a performance stage. Julian, however, believes there’s a burning star underneath that withdrawn personality and, moreover, that her ice-type moves have the potential to dazzle any audience. Easily impressed and awed by other Pokemon, Noir loves watching contests (via tv more often than not) just as much as her trainer does and has her own dreams of performing successfully - when she’s not stuffing her face with berries. Though she lacks confidence and requires encouragement to do things, there’s definitely potential in her.

Jorah Aventurine

Name: Jorah Aventurine
Age: 19
Appearance:

A bit willowy, Jorah typically stands above other's at 5'9, and is most memorable by her large, grey eyes and long, flowing white hair. Her face is faintly splattered with freckles, her lips a full dull pink. She typically dresses comfortable, with flowy pants and loose jackets.​

Jorah never knew what she wanted to be as a child, all she knew was that she wanted to be out in the world exploring; she accompanied her father on many out of region business trips and had experienced different cultures and ways of life, and knew she loved it. But when the sweet age of sixteen came, she had to make a choice -- trainers academy, or going on the journey of a life time. Of course she chose the latter. Still unaware of her own goals, she kind of just followed the steps of her peers, trying contests and cooking and fashion, but mainly battling gyms; she developed her own style, and collected the badges, even working her way towards getting sought after for a spot as a gym member. At the time, it was such an honor she just accepted, but as time went on, she began to feel restricted, and a bit restless, always having to stay in the same city of Sunnyshore, the same gym, training to specific guidelines that weren't her own technique --- they also rejected her request to be a dual type leader. The wanderlust that came with open fields and skies was gone. She wasn't ready for the routine. She left her own gym early, leaving it in the hands of an apprentice, and decided to try and find a balance for her lust for traveling, starting over again almost completely. She's in Sinnoh which seems to be the current hot topic -- for her teams sake she has decided to revive a fossil in Oreburgh, which is currently where she is heading.​

Greninja - "Hiroki"

Hydro Pump | Dark Pulse | Ice Beam | Extrasensory | Spikes

Hiroki is Jorah's soul mate -- he lead the way to their league fight, through every gym challenge, through every break up and has honestly been there for every one of her crowning moments. He's a bit prideful, knowing his worth considering his experience, he is also peaceable but a bit unfriendly, he has little interest in others and considers himself to outwit them -- he's very alert, especially when it comes to his trainer who tends to be a little too curious for her own good. He is very intune with her thought, but creative in how he approaches battles -- he and Jorah have been working diligently on making the most of his dual typing, so he knows how to mix and match for a better hit. Dislikes babies.
