This is my Pokemon Roleplay, taking place in the region of Kanto. You may start in any city or town with any first evolution from the original 151. (Growlithe, Tentacool, Charmander, Etc.)


Intro


Hello there! Welcome to the world of pokémon! My name is Oak! People call me the pokémon Prof! This world is inhabited by creatures called pokémon! For some people, pokémon are pets. Others use them for fights. Myself...I study pokémon as a profession. Now, tell me a little bit about yourself...

Personality: Wilf has always been kind hearted and fun to be around but recently with team rocket crime on the rise he's gotten a bit overwhelmed and outraged and may strike out at times.


Backstory: Wilf was just 9 when his family moved away from beautiful Slateport city to the creepy town of Lavender, Now that he can finally leave his hometown, he's going on the adventure of his life.

Personality:


Determined, smart, and feisty! Sheeta is a Pokémon collector who really doesn't want to become a Master. As long as she can get her hands on all the types of Pokémon she's perfectly fine. Of course she's not worried about getting in a few Pokémon Fights to get what she wants. She's determined and ready to become the most famous Pokémon Collector out there! Heck, if she has to become a Pokémon master in the possess then so be it!


Backstory:


Sheeta's father was a professor and her mother was a doctor. Because of this she grew up around Pokémon and has grown to love them. When she was eight her father said that if she became a Pokémon collector she'd be able to have all the Pokémon she wants, so that's what she's doing. She has decided to collect them all and become the best Pokémon collector out there. Of course if you have to become a Pokémon master to achieve this then she'll do it. Nothing can stop her!

Personality: Easy-going and casual almost to the point of being inappropriate. His big brother let him chose one of his own Pokémon as a starter. He doesn't have much drive or any ambition, but Pokémon training is the family business so he tries to take is seriously. He's a fast learner not a natural talent. Also kind of a ditz.


Backstory: He almost decided not to become a trainer and started late. Cross's family kind of pressured him into it. He's not allowed to come home until he beats the Pokémon league, which isn't going to happen anytime soon. He likes the traveling around the world part though and finds the freedom relaxing.

Personality:


Adelaide is the overly dramatic type. She has a deep love for Pokémon, something which often leaves her cooing over any cute Pokémon she sees and she sees every single Pokémon as cute. She is rarely seen acting as mature...well she is never really seen as acting even slightly mature as she has a incredibly childish personality. Adelaide may not be the most intelligent and thoughtful person but she relies upon her beliefs instead. Be warned, Adelaide can be quite the trickster.


Backstory:


Adelaide's family has been in Lavender town for generations. Only her father had ever left home to train and raise Pokémon while the rest of her family simply enjoyed the calm nature of Lavender town. Her father settled down after her birth so she was always around his favourite Pokémon Slowbro. Of course, being around her fathers Pokémon also made her interested in Pokémon. This was evidently clear when people would turn around to see a small child constantly playing with Slowbro. Her father had other Pokémon but at such a young age she was quite fearful of the others, something she eventually grew out of. At the age of ten her father went on another trip once again, leaving her behind with her mother, sister and younger brother. Days after he left, the ten year old Adelaide began to pester her mother in an attempt to go on a similar journey. However, the answer was no until she turned fifteen. Since the day her mother said this she has been excited and constantly dreaming about making friends with as many Pokemon as she could. Now turning fifteen she is old enough to head on into the world of her dreams.

Personality: In a word: Cloudcuckoolander. He does his best to make people laugh, but never at the expense of someone else. He is also afraid of girls.


Backstory: In school, he turned every answer into a joke if possible. If not, he answered correctly. He can also play stringed instruments and sing, but he doesn't show it off too often. He views the world as a story and considers the start of his journey as the start of an adventure novel.

Urgh...


You know it kills me to say it but I think I'll sit this out. There really isnt a Gen 1 pokemon that I really like (I liked all the gens AFTER it, but not it alone).


Will you be accepting after it starts if I change my mind?
 
Yes i will be accepted after it starts, eventually i will stop accepting. Also, if this is enough of a success i will create a Pokemon Rp version 2, it will take place in either 2nd gen or foward (depending on what is most voted on)
