Pokemon RP - Fandom

[The Librarian]

(I suppose it's started already then? If not I'll get rid of this, but in any case...)


"Kyaaaaah...", I yawned, stretching my arms above my head and hearing several satisfying cracks. Piplup, Starly, and Dragonair were still sleeping peacefully, so I scooped up some clean clothes and tiptoed quietly to the bathroom. After an invigorating shower, where I made sure to leave the plug in, and a brush of my teeth, I was back in the bedroom, staring contemplatively down at my Pokémon.


It is an established rule that if any teammate is still asleep by the time the first one awake is back from the bathroom, the awake ones get to wake the sleeping one in any way they want. The sleeping ones cannot retaliate too badly, but some things are...allowed.


With that in mind I carefully picked all three of them up, making sure not to wake them, and dropped them in the bathtub.


Starly erupted out of the water with a startled, "STAAAARR!", flopping over the edge to lay on the floor, panting. Piplup and Dragonair, being water types, were perfectly at home, popping up to the surface with cheerful cries of, "Piplup!", and, "Naaair!". I crouched down with a smug smile as Starly shook himself dry, his feathers poofing out in a fair impression of a feather duster. Then he launched himself at me, beak glinting in the light.


"GAH!"

It's been a rough night for Neo and his team. Course, being attacked by a group of Golem proved to be of challenge for all of them, considering the fact that he had more electric type pokemon rather than anything that would prove to defend them all successfully. The boy walked out of the Pokemon Center with Shinx and Zorua scampering out with high spirits. The two bounded out into a patch of grass while Neo's first companion, Luxray, stood on by to simply watched. "Quite a night, huh, Luxray. ?" Neo said with a slight sigh, placing his hand behind his head. His companion replied with a low ' . . ray . .' and sat with a plop. Zorua snickered here and there, changing into a Houndoom to gain a bit of an advantage over Shinx. Of course, as Zorua began to evaporate poor Shinx's happines with complete fear, things began to change from simple playing to full on rough-housing.


With one chasing the other, it seemed though not only Neo was a bit bothered at this. Luxray held an irritated look and at last, reached his limit. The pokemon's eyes flickered a golden yellow and with a small growl, the sound of electricity pierced through the silent air and hit both Shinx and Zorua. Neo flinched and looked over towards the two and noticed that one; Shinx appeared to only be phased, being an electric type and all while two; Zorua was completely dazed upon the ground. A small laugh slipped past the boy's mouth as he simply watched, giving Luxray a small pat upon the head.


"You all will get along nicely. . I can just feel it." Neo said, glimpsing towards Zorua.

Akio stepped outside and let out a loud yawn. He turned to his Mailbox and opened it up. Inside was a single letter from Professor Maple. Akio tour off part of the envelope and read it to himself.


Dear Akio,


Happy Birthday to you, Akio. Now that you've turned 10 I'd like to see you at my lab.

Prof. Maple.

 

[The Librarian]

I padded downstairs with a deadpan expression, nursing several peck wounds as Starly perched on my shoulder smugly. Dragonair was wound around my neck, and Piplup trotted alongside us happily. I handed my room key back to the resident Nurse Joy with a smile before going out back to meet my other Pokemon.


"Ursaring, Garchomp, and Girafig, front and center!", I called playfully, and they immediately came over. There was something odd, though...


"Why is there a crater in the lawn?", I asked mildly, looking to Girafig curiously, but the Psychic-Normal type merely bit her lip and glanced away. I raised an amused eyebrow and asked, "What have I told you about using Psychic to drop your teamates from tall heights?".


"Don't do it unless they have a fair warning.", she replied sheepishly in my head, and though Ursaring and Garchomp couldn't hear what she said they looked incredibly smug. I nodded and said, "Right. Because...?", and she finished lamely, "Because you never know who'll want to battle.". I nodded again.


"Very good. Now, who wants breakfast?", I prompted, and the six of them cheered loudly.

 

[Kurai]

Neo wandered over to Shinx and picked him on up, placing him upon his shoulder while Zorua simply returned to its original form to shake off some of the sparks of electricity. The boy sighed lightly before looking back towards Luxray. "C'mon, let's get a move on. I hear there's a nice park not too far from here. How's about we spend some time there until Zorua thinks he's all better?" Luxray stood, then began walking while shinx chanted happily upon his shoulder. As for Zorua, Neo would have to carry him once more. As he picked up the pokemon, the boy began walking down a nice path and laughed softly to himself, watching his surroundings carefully. "Maybe after this I can get you something to eat. How's about it, bud?" he said, looking down at the Zorua. All he got for a response was a simple smile before laughing to himself again. The four were off yet again, but this time, it seemed though relaxing was the only thing on mind for today.

"Come on out guys", Rinai sends out all three of his Pokemon, "time to eat." His pokemon tackle him on the ground hugging him. "Haha, I love you guy's too." He stands up and walks over to his backpack, get's their dishes, and food and pours it in to their dishes. The pokemon start to eat their food and Rinai just sits there and watches them eat. He's just sitting there smiling, happy with the thought he's on the journey to make his dream come true.


After the pokemon were done eating, Rinai rolled up his sleeping bags and packed everything away. "Okay guys, return." He returned all of his pokemon in to their balls and started walking on his path again. His stomach starts to rumble. He holds his stomach, "Ugh, that one hurt.", Rinai said as he cringed his face. He looked back up down the path and started back up his journey.

 

[The Librarian]

"Y'know...", I pondered as the six of my team ate happily and my scrambled eggs cooked on the portable stove I had brought, "You guys eat that all the time and I don't even know if you like it.". Girafig swallwed the mouthful she had, eyed her bowl, and turned around so her tail could eat as well. "Each meal tastes different, even though it all comes from the same bag.", she told me, sounding a bit confused about it herself, "I wonder how that is?".


"I've often wondered how living things can be turned to data and stored in little balls that apparently work without batteries. They're just two of life's mysteries, I suppose.", I admitted with a shrug, flipping my eggs onto a plate and beginning to eat.

pbtenchi couldn't help but wonder what to do with the 4 special pokemon eggs he has acquired, then he decided to give them to trainers he though were promising, and headed off in search of such trainers

As Neo continued on down the path that lead to his destination, he kept a good lookout for any other things that might've caught his eye. Besides the fact that he spotted many fishermen near the stream, there really wansn't anything else to look at. He's been thinking for quite a while now and the one thing that seemed to notice was Luxray at this time. It turned and glimpsed towards Neo for a second and emitted a low growl from within its chest to grab the boy's attention. "Hm? Oh, it's nothing, bud. Just wandering where to head to next. Hm.... Maybe we can stay here for a bit longer? It might get Zorua used to his new surroundings. After all, he is still a bit knew here, you know." And with that, the small talk ended as he watched Shinx scamper about from one patch of grass to the other.
