Pokemon RP anyone?

I've been reading the Pokemon manga lately (which I think is way better than the anime) and it made me really want to do a Pokemon RP. While I wouldn't mind doing a regular Pokemon RP, I've also had an idea to make the RP different. I thought that it might be interesting for the trainers to fight alongside their Pokemon instead of the Pokemon doing all of the fighting. But if you don't like the idea, we can still do a normal Pokemon RP.
 
Haha playing a Pokemon Pathfinder game like that. I wouldn't mind talking... I wanted to do a Rated R pokemon themed RP where poke could in fact die and get crippled and such things.

I would allow the Pokemon to be able to die, but not when someone doesn't want them to die (standard RP rules).

Mine? Yeah, I've been thinking of changing it to an awesome picture from the Pokemon manga (whichistotallyinfinitytimesmoreawesomethantheanime).


So anyway, I guess the "trainers fighting alongside their Pokemon" idea isn't that popular. Oh well.
 
Not at all, I was just giving you an example of what I had been looking for in an RP like this.


Depends if you want to put this in a fantasy setting or not. Not really a modern.
 
The more I think about it the more I think that it should be like the manga: Pokemon can attack trainers and trainers use their Pokemon to defend themselves. Some of the trainers could be trained in combat i guess.


So, should I make the RP?
