Hey, I'm looking for a good one on one roleplay to be done over email! Ignore the post count, as I'm probably going to just be bumping this up when I want to have a new roleplay, since the information rarely changes on what I'm looking for. If this post isn't on the first page, just send me a PM asking for a roleplay, rather than post on this topic.
As the title says, I'm looking for a roleplay in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, or original fantasy. The former has worked best in a Sky, Super, or original region, and I have a plot. That being said, if you also want to have a plot, we can see if the two are compatible, and I'd be happy to have your plot take place first if they are. As for the plot for this one, you can expect it to start off as a 'gather them all' plot, that slowly transforms into a conspiracy of universal scale.
The original fantasy setting is either something you may want to suggest, or something of mine, which would be... slightly less flexible. I'm writing a book series in my spare time, and the original fantasy setting I personally use is based on that. The canon is 'established' in that sense, but I do my best to allow any potential fantasy characters you already had in mind come in without too much 'tampering' to fit. If you want more details on the fantasy setting, just ask. But for the basics, expect to see dragons, 'element' based magic with a scientific twist, and shape-shifters.
Also, to make the plot run as smoothly as possible, your character should act a bit like a 'main character' in an RPG. That is to say, they're at least the type to be able to... continue in a story, rather than sit around and do nothing passively. I know this is odd to bring up, but for some reason this happens a lot if I don't warn against it.
My reply rate is consistent. I try to reply within the hour that I see the message--but, more often, it's within ten minutes or so, unless I'm asleep, in class, or otherwise away from the computer. As a Computer Scientist, that's... not often. I appreciate if someone replies more than once a day, but one-a-day is the bare minimum, and even that's hard to work with.
I prefer the reply size to be around one to three paragraphs long, with a preference for one or two paragraphs. I don't want one or two lines per reply. But I also don't want essays. And... that's about it! You can ask me any further questions you have down below. Otherwise, send me a PM so we can exchange contact info if you're interested! But if it's pretty deep or old-looking, though, you're probably better off sending me a PM rather than replying here.
