I gave Roy two egg moves even though he's a newcomer just for his character quirks. He won't use them in battle until he's much stronger. I hope that's okay.

I'm sorry, but neither of the egg moves you've given Roy are actually egg moves. Thrash is learned at lv 40, while stomping tantrum is a tutor move. I'd appreciate if you could find alternatives, considering I'm treating Egg moves as LV up moves to begin with.

If the parent is the same species isn't a move learned at a higher level passed down as an Egg Move? And isn't it the same deal for a move taught to a parent through a tutor that the child can learn? I'll change my moves but I was just curious since that's how I read it works lol.

if I remember correctly, if a parent has egg moves (example, mawile with fire fang) then all it's offspring will have that move independent of the father. Back in gen 7 I did a lot of breeding for competitive mons, so I know a thing or two.

Ah okay. I just read on Bulbapedia that each parent passes on a move that the offspring is compatible with, regardless if the parent learned it through level up, move tutor, etc., and if the child learns that move at a later level they'll just learn it earlier. I've never bred for competitive stuff so I know nothing about this lol.
Would you be okay with having another Meowth? I'm assuming Gerald is a Kantonian one and I wanted to play an Alolan one. I'm kinda feeling this bratty kid character idea.

How does finding items and encountering wild pokemon work? Do you have chance dice or something set up, or is that something we'll initial at our own discretion?

egg moves and breeding in general is a huge pain to deal with. If you want to know the egg moves Tyrunt can learn, go to his Bulbapedia page and on the moves section, check his egg moves. And yeah, it's fine to have another Meowth in town. I thought I had set Gerald as a Alolan Meowth, but checking his page I noticed I didn't write about it... oh well, I guess he's Kantonian now.

great timing! Depending on the area you are on, you can say that you found certain Items as long as they appear in the area (for example, in the forest you'll find a, abundance of mushrooms). Keep in mind that your Pokemon will have to carry these Items back home, so don't grab everything you see.As for feral Pokemon encounters, it works similarly to Item finding. You can start battles at any time as long as you are in the right areas. It is expected to be attacked at least once, but any further attacks are purely by your choice. I might update the Lore page to include possible species that you could find in different areas, but for now, just make sure the battles make sense (Bug, Grass, Ghost and Fairy make more sense to be found in the forest than a Gyarados).
