Fandom Pokemon Iridium: Vault Hunter Edition

What is a legendary Pokemon if not a fluffy Vault Guardian? Pokeballs? Definitely digistruction technology. Old Slappy who ate Hammerlock's arm? A Tentacruel.

In this story, affectionately dubbed "Bordermon", we would be revisiting the Orre region from the Gamecube games and exploring the possibility that maybe Pokemon are aliens after all - specifically, aliens from the Borderlands universe.

Bring your shotguns, bring your Pokemon, bring your dune buggies with mounted rocket launchers. There's a weird purple glow in the sky, a egomaniacal CEO, and a volcano. What more do you need for a story?

Soon! I went quiet because I was behind on homework. Here's some stuff to get you started:

• The main/beginning plot hook of the RP is that the Pokemon Professor of the region is hiring trainers to help them investigate appearances of aggressive Pokemon with unusual purple auras around them.
• Apex Mining Industries (totally not a Dahl reference) has been mining in the Orre region and digging up weird glowing purple rocks. Some are being kept in a lab as prototype evolution stones. One is on display in Realgam Tower casino to entice rich tourists to invest on Apex stocks.
• Orre has a long history of crime - from Team Snagem to Cipher, from petty theft to organized embezzlement, Pokemon trafficking and illegal battle arenas... The evil team in this RP is the Dustfiends, our equivalent of the marauders and bandits from Borderlands.
