IDKnuggets dude i love Abel. You captured his father's personality well without even knowing what it was like. The only thing is that his takeover wasnt planned. He killed gentry in a fit of rage at a disagreement they were having. Mere weeks before it though he seemed to fall into a deep dark mindset. Prior to this he was actually a very good and noble knight. He was also trained by Gentry incidentally. However there is no need to edit these things. He was still militaristic in his mannerisms and did have a bit of an ego.

No need we can just explain it away as abels understanding of what happened.

After all no ome really tthinks their parents are as powerful as they really are. Plus his explaination is more beleivable than what really happened.

Balder is in his late 40's gentry was in his early 60's

Gentry started early in being a knight by age 17. By the time balder signed on at age 19 he had been one for almost two decades.
