Name: Holly Conrad
Age: 16 Years
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual

Specialty: Holly specializes in battling. She uses unorthodox tactics to control and overwhelm her opponents, often fighting from the frontlines and using her Pokemon as extensions of her body. This is complemented by her excellent athletic abilities, as she trains herself as well as her Pokemon.

Personality: Her personality can be described as Loving Ruthlessness. She loves her Pokemon, family, and friends dearly. She takes care of them and tries to make them happy any way she can, but all of this is put aside when accomplishing any goal. Then she acts with cold efficiency and ruthlessness, using her Pokemon and people around her as tools and often getting her hands dirty herself. Still, she is most of the time a cheerful and lovely girl.

Appearance: Holly has fair skin and average height. Her hair is green and silky, her eyes are the same color. She likes to wear dresses and boots of paster colors, as well as many accessories. Though she dresses as a delicate girl she has a slender, athletic body.

Backstory: Holly was born in Hoem, but later moved with her father in Lumiose City in the Kalos region. As her father was rich, she grew up as a sheltered princess, which she was content with, until the day when her father took her to watch a Pokemon tournament. Since that day she became fascinated by battling and began to train herself in order to do so. She started sneaking out of her home to challenge people through the city, which often got her into trouble. Her father kept trying to lock her up and failing until she finally escaped from home to go on her own adventure. It was then when she met Professor Sycamore, who gave her a Pokedex and a ticket to New World. Now with her chance to test herself against the unknows she set herself on the adventure she always wanted.

Name: Lilac Dreski

Specialty: Lilac’s specialty lies in Pokémon habitats. She is well versed in what type of Pokémon live in what areas and what to expect upon entering a new habitat. Alongside this, she can interpret and predict how and why Pokémon live in those places. This helps with locating, preparation and how to take care of the Pokémon which will lead her down to her ultimate goal of being a traveling professor who can spread her knowledge.

Personality: Lilac can be described as a sweet and helpful young girl, if not a little too adventurous. She enjoys helping her peers study and learn more about certain Pokémon before capture and she’s always there to lend an ear to any problem someone may have. Well, that is, if you can find her. Lilac has an extremely bad sense of direction and often finds herself lost. To make matters worse, the young girl actually enjoys getting lost, seeing it as more of an adventure and less as a dangerous situation. She often ignores caution and fear which sometimes leads to her getting injured or in stupid situations. Some might even call the girl a bit of an airhead.

Appearance:

Lilac has soft purplish eyes that match her semi-long hair almost perfectly. Often than not, she'll be wearing either black or a more dull color as she thinks bright, flashy colors conflict with her natural features. Her black and white cap (no logo as seen above) was given to her by her mother and she wears it almost always upon venturing out. Standing at 5'4", she's not the tallest around. Lilac believes she will hit her growth spurt soon though! Her muscles truly show that she hasn't spent much time on them. She's quite skinny and looks as if a breeze may push her over.

Backstory: Lilac grew up in the city of Castelia, located in the region of Unova. Her mother had moved there upon her birth and she was raised in the heart of the very popular seaside city. The poor girl often got lost roaming the streets and many times had to be returned home by the friendly police who found her without a guardian. Each time her mother would chastise her but each time she would reply “I’m gonna be a Pokémon trainer! How will I discover new Pokémon if I don’t get lost!” to which her mother would just sigh. As she grew up, Lilac spent her time studying Pokémon and more specifically, the areas in which they live in. She was amazed! Pokémon could be found in caves, oceans, hillsides, and even her own city! They were virtually everywhere, you just needed the right pair of eyes to spot them. Finally, when Lilac was 15, she met with professor Juniper for the first time. Upon explaining her fascination with how and where Pokémon lived, Professor Juniper decided to offer the young girl a chance. Now with a Pokédex in hand, her very own starter, and a look of determination, Lilac was off to the new world.

Name: Aiko Jin
Nickname: AJ

Gender: Female
Sexuality: Lesbian
Specialty: Canine Pokémon (her dream is to become a Search and Rescue worker with her Pokémon
Personality: AJ is not a people person; she's never entirely sure how to act around people. Despite all this, AJ is a very touch-oriented person, whether it be hugs, cuddles, hand-holding or shoulder touches; she craves it all. So, when she feels close to someone, she does her best to show it through these kinds of touches. AJ is also a very bold person, never really taking no for an answer. To her, the answer is always yes; it's just a matter of figuring out how to do it. She also doesn't take too kindly to being ordered around. but is smart enough to realize when she should keep her mouth shut and just do as told.
Appearance:

Description: AJ stands at a solid 5'6". She has choppy black hair that ends just below her shoulders, though it's often up in a bun or a ponytail to keep it out of her face. Blessed with a light olive skin tone, AJ finds it equally hard to sunburn as she does to tan. While she doesn't care much for appearances, she finds her lack of tanning irritating. Her grey eyes come from her mother, but her hair and stature come from her father. She has a very slim and agile form but is deceptively strong. Her lip is pierced.
Backstory: Aiko Jin was born to Maiko and Akio Jin and raised in Castelia City. When she was 6, her family moved to Lacunosa Town in order to live somewhere a little more peaceful and less crowded. Her father was diagnosed with lung cancer a year later, likely due to the air pollution of Castelia. He passed away 10 months later, leaving Aiko and her mother alone. When she was 10, she received her first Pokémon, a shiny Eevee. Her mother had paid a lot of money and spent a long time trying to find one for her. She adores Noctali and the two became very close very fast. She's hoping that Noctali will evolve into an Umbreon, but she'll be equally happy if the Eevee doesn't. Ever since she got Noctali, the people in Lacunosa have been a lot more sociable with AJ, despite her social awkwardness. When the New World popped up, the local professor in Lacunosa started putting out ads to see if anyone in town would be willing to go with a Pokedex. AJ was the only one who approached him and said yes. Still, he was more than a little hesitant to allow her to go with a shiny Pokémon; he even offered her a new starter to take instead, but AJ refused. Now, she's hoping to find new and unique canine Pokémon on this island and expand her party.

Sage has many specialties that culminate into making a great explorer, outdoorsman, and hopefully a future ranger! Knowledge of flora and fauna comes naturally to the farm raised Sage, as does cooking and using useful herbs. An avid adventurer, even more so once he met Otto; Sage is a great climber, swimmer, and general athlete.

Personality:
Sage can be summed up in three words; adventurous, compassionate, and a bit naive. Turning over every log, leaf, and rock growing up hasn’t stopped Sage from wanting to explore more, still driven by curiosity at the world. New foods, experiences, and challenges will usually be inviting to Sage; and he tries to share those moments with people around him. Sage can be a bit headstrong to experience new things, wanting to push himself and sometimes others out of their comfort zone.

Kindness is a core for Sage, with both his mother and father passing on the wisdom of compassion. A gentle approach with both Pokemon and people, Sage does his best to make sure the people around him are happy. A sad face or tear streak are usually enough to have Sage’s full attention, ready and willing to move mountains to help. However, Sage is sometimes easily manipulated in this area, sometimes too stubborn to see that he sometimes can’t help everyone.

Lastly Sage can be a bit naive, gained mainly from living in a close knit community. Sage grew up without knowing strangers and still believes it, finding friends in most people quickly. Liars and cheats would have an easy target with Sage, as he takes most people at face value. However once someone does present themselves as a bad person or gets on Sage’s bad side, they’re unlikely to change his opinion.

Appearance:
Sage stands at 5’11” with a light frame, dense with muscle from his past times. An angular face with small features holds his hazel eyes and is topped by his dirty blonde hair. Sage usually wears tan shorts with light colored tops, accessorized by his goggles, glasses, and overstuffed backpack.

Backstory:
Sage was born into the Lovage family as the first child out of the eventual four, raised outside Sandgem Town in the Sinnoh Region. The family had a small farm where they mostly grew medical herbs to sell, the rest of the food going to the family and the occasional casserole to a neighbor. The farm was passed down to Fennec Lovage by his parents when they left for Sunnyshore City retirement, leaving it ready for the family and their first born. By the time the rest of the children were born, Fennec had turned their home into a great grove and they were well known in the area.

Sage’s childhood was mostly spent in the farm, around Lake Verity, and exploring the forest in between. Lessons about plants, fishing, camping, and adventures throughout the grove were led by their father Fennec; the avid outdoorsman wanting to spread his green thumb and ranger’s spirit onto his children. They split lessons from Professor Rowan when he was in town and their mother Violet, a retired Pokemon ranger, about Pokemon when they grew old enough.

When the new land mass appeared Professor Rowan was prompted to send a few new explorers on his behalf to the new continent, as the other professors were doing. Sage gladly accepted, spending a few days preparing with Otto before heading off.

Starter:
A Buizel nicknamed Otto, the two partnering up after many fishing and camping trips were they interacted, eventually solidifying when Otto saved Sage from nearly drowning. Otto is rarely in his pokeball, preferring the top of the backpack with Sage's head to look from or walking alongside if something on the ground intrigues him.

Researcher specializing in regional variations and other oddities like size, abilities and duel typing. Prefers the unique, from skin pigmentations to her personal favorite pastime of waiting to locate the “alpha and omega” of the wild Pokémon hoards/flocks (also almost always the most dangerous and often out of her league). Does not catch a Pokémon just to have it, however she does not see an average Pokémon as “lesser”, just not helpful for her team.

Riona is a loyal friend with a wandering mind. She has taught a battling elegance and how to utilize their personalities to stand out. While she doesn’t particularly like to be the center of attention, she does prefer to be remembered not for her and her teams looks, but for her and her teams effort. She typically stays out of the drama but can be a useful mediator if needed. A notable cook with no sense of direction.

slender, average height, long ash white locks and soft amber eyes. Outfits are pretty casual and she keeps her partner pokeball attached to her wrist band with the others traditionally at her waist to the side.

Backstory:

Riona grew up the daughter of a long time scientist by the name of Farrah Lovelace, the woman made her legacy by climbing the ranks at the Aether Corporation on the islands of Alola.

Riona spent her time sheltered and surrounded by odd Pokémon who couldn’t currently be released back into the wild. Her social interaction and some habits came from being around focused and driven adults with massive intellect and so she wasn’t engaged in much child interaction, she learned to behave quick but always seemed to wander out of her mother or securities sight. as a biologist, scientist and zoology specialiher mother passed on decent amounts of knowledge pertaining to biomes and environments, regional variants and oddities in Pokémon that would be valuable to reproduce or replicate. Riona absorbed all of this and found herself fascinated at the thought of “beyond what we know about Pokémon and the world around us.”

when aether went under, they relocated elsewhere on the islands, however her mother decided to utilize her experience and instead begin her own foundation that explores unusual attributes in Pokémon and focuses on reproduction of both endangered or unique species, and even enhancing common land inhabitants around them. Riona did get some decent fieldwork experience before being assigned an opportunity (plus her mother pulling some strings with her connections) to utilize her abilities and put her interests and experience to the test in the “new world”. it will be her first true experience outside of the islands, and beyond the average comprehension of Pokémon and their limits.

Starter:

A beldum she has yet to name. It wanders anywhere and everywhere with Riona without question, and has a deep love for musical frequencies and staring at its own reflection. Seems to understand languages well, but has an unknown anger trigger that can become quite violent.
